Dear diary,
this is my first attempt growing cannabis.
Bought this setup for about 350$.
Seeds coming from Seedstockers.
I grow while i do my research.
Setup info:
Tent is a 0.6x0.6x1.3m
Exhaust 100 cfm
Soil light Mix Biobizz, Soil with light mix of nutrients and perlite.
Day 0: I soaked 3 jiffy pellets and sticked 3 seeds 6mm under soil.
Day 1: One of them came out about 72 hours later,i only saw a white hair above soil. -DATE 07.04-
Day 2: She got up real fast,she's now 75cm under lights.
Day 3: She grew a bit,but i saw 1 white spot on one of her cotylids.
Day 4: Changed distance to lights to 25cm,and transpanted her in a 7L pot.
Day 5: Another one germinated after i gave water and natural light.I destroyed the 3rd one.Changed distance to lights to 55cm.(lights manufactorer says about 8.5k lumens)
Day 6: Plant A is growing and looking healthy.Transpanted plant B at germination day 2.
Day 7: Bought a thermo/hygro device from growstore to see whats happening.Maybe i should get more humidity for both of them. -DATE 14.04-
This week i was watering plant almost every day by very low quantities as long as it was in the jiffy pellet alone.Dosage was almost the same.About 15ml the very first days to 50-60 mlk when transplanted.
What's in my mind:
A)LST,Topping.These subjects now i study and im horrified to even touch it.
B)What about spraying some water on her leaves.She seams to me she needs some.
Day 8: Nutrients manufactorer recommends start giving 2 ml/L when plant is 10-15cm.Mine still isn't.
Day 9: What the hell...i'll nute her,and hope not nuke her.
Day10: I notice i have an issue with my exhaust.It takes out humidity very fast. My carbon filter had an outter fabric filter which i removed day 1. I put it back again and humidity stays longer.But there is no negative pressure at all.It now struggles to take air out.
Day11: I think actual growing comes every 2 days.Day 1 it gathers energy,day 2 spends it on growing.Maybe its because i water it every 2 days for now.
Day12: I water my plant today.It still had some moisture beneath the soil.Day 9 i was drunk and water her 0.5L.I gave her about 180-200 mL today.I have to stop drinking that poison.Im gonna get yellow spots on my liver someday.
Day13: Wow last couple of days she grows fast! There are 2 leaves that kinda twisting. In todays photo you can see it on the leaf close to seedstockers label.
Day14: Second week's last day.Plant is starting to grow faster.I'll water her today.This plant looks short at this stage compared to other i've seen here.Lets see what week 3 is gonna give.
This week plant had 3 watering days,each day different dosage.Week's conclusion is that 8th day should be around 80ml reaching 250ml at day 14 gradually.
Also plant had no problems with nutrient.I was giving only half of the recommended dose but i think i should have given it full.Plant seems to enjoy that stuff.
I also want to mention my tent's unstable RH which had a minimum of 37% and a maximum 89% per 24h.
I managed to stabilize a bit with a wet towel,one of towel's side is into a can of water permanently.That way towel stays wet all day.
Calibrating exhaust's exports is the key for a relative stability.
Week 3!! So far so good!

Day 15: I moved my fan 30cm up above top leaves.I think i dried the shit out of the leaves.
Day 16: Bottom first leaves drooping today.
Day 17: Her bottom leaves now reaching soil.She doesn't look very happy.Next watering will have 0 nutrients. I also changed light distance 6cm closer.Now distance is 52cm.
Day 18: Upper new set of leaves open and installed in one day.But i see ho height! She is about 1 cm taller than the seedling.Younger and smaller leaves growing on stem but get no light.
Day 19: Today i fed her.With 2L i finally managed to see the whole pot wet!I cant wait to see how reacts to that.I must buy a ph/ec meter,but everything is closed here during lockdown.
Day 20: Both plants looking happy.Today i managed to buy a PH meter.Growshop owner advised not to buy EC meter for soil.I'm confused.Also today i got a 404 error on my account in diaries and scared the shit out of me.
Day 21: Ok,Thats week's last day.Plants looking healthy.After yesterday massive watering RH is always at 60-70%,i already removed the wet towel inside.Its been2-3 days i can smell vegetation going in when i open my tent and stick my head into.I can also feel uncomfort with that high ammount of RH inside.Light is directly above my main plant.Led is very directive.Plant B gets about 10% of hotspot light,it only gets whats coming from 22 degrees angle.poor light compared to the main one.But still manage to look great.
Whats in my mind:
My plants look short compared to others.That worries me.
Well, during week 3 i realised the importance of PH testing.How can someone test PH runoffs where there is no water coming out?
My plant is small and the water quantity i give is so low that there is nothing coming out of my 3 gal pot.
If you have excess soil from your planting, start with flooding that, and measuring ph on the runoff.
At three weeks, your root structure may not support flooding the pot, but that is what you'll have to do....at some point.
FYI, I use 3 gal grow bags, and always water/feed with 1 gal fluid, so that there is a slight runoff, as a regular process.

Week 4! I'm so excited starting one more week.time passed quickly.I'll start this week mentioning height at day 22 is 11cm.
Day 22: Plant looks strong!She's growing fast day by day.I noticed some of her leaves getting out of pot's perimeter!I got a feeling this week she's gonna show me her capabilities.
Day 23: Yeap still 11cm. You're Goddamned right thats a carrot! :D I got mad and punished plant B.Its the fourth day without water.Soil looks dry but has some humidity 2-3 cm below.I'll water her tomorrow.
Day 24: Watering day. 3,5L each.Maybe i should change my watering canister.Its violent,and makes soil float until water goes deeper.PH readings 7.3 in 6.4 out (previous watering).Today 6.6 in. Lets see what will come out next time.
Day 25: She looks bigger today.Maybe soil compressed after watering.
Day 26: Boy oh boy! She's 15cm and shows her sex! Oh lady likes to flash.I'm so happy! She slowly entering next stage!
Day 27: Plant demonstrates an impressive growth on y-axis.
Day 28: Plant doesn;t look happy.Also found 2 very small holes on 2 leaves.Leaves look like dry or something.I dont know whats going on.Normally i'd feed her tomorrow,but i'm thinking watering today ph 6.5 no nutes.
A few thoughts:
[Day24] Plant B: I'm experimenting with plant B.And i dont treat it well.Reason is that light fits for 1 plant only.So this one is away from light and will help me uderstand if my light plays a role in stretching.Also i defoliate her ugly,and destroyed every little leaf that was under top .Just take a look on main plant's inner small leaves.Those small branches get no light.So before these grow up on plant B,i cut those off and see what happens.
[Day26]Today i understand why my plant is short.Thats because i havent seen whats going on under those big fan leaves.Growth tips got bigger super fast.But still getting no light.So i broke my rule not touching Plant A and Lst a bit.
Now i see the damage i've done to plant B.I cut fan leafs and growth tips on 1st node.Shame on me.
Week 5 Spring temperatures and puberty at the gates.
Day 29: Changed photo perspective,and decided to take plant B out of the picture.Plant watered yesterday.No nutes for first time.
Day 30: Growth has slowed doen.Top new leaves have brown tips.Almost every leaf has "the claw" and some of them are curling up.All these are signs of problems*
Day 31: I took her under light for inspection.Plant probably suffered a watering stress combined excessive nitrogen.Leaves have some darker strips with a leathery feel.i'll water with 1/3 water amount and 0 nutes next time.
Day 32: She's back on track!RH increased plant started to breath again. Its a victory day here in Belarus [9/5]
Day 33: Feeding day.She's 26cm.
Day 34: Oh my Gog!Just look at her!She's so ready for what's coming!Healthy and happy,Full of confidence!Today she just makes me proud!First time such a feeling.From a poor lil baby to a beautifull teenager.Couldn't ever beleive that gardening can have such an impact in my psycology.Thank you for this!
Day 35: Feed her 1L again.Now we're talking.

Week 5 begins,i'm waiting for flowering stretching to stop by the end of this week,and hope lower colas to reach some light.Defoliation is tempting.Plant's height 35 cm
Day 36: I cut off all the LST wires,damage a few young leaves at the bottom.Its so messy down there.Now i understand my light is very poor.I'd love to find a TS-1000 but almost impossible for a cash only here in Bogota.
Day 37: She looks thursty!Watering day by day? is that real?
Day 38: She still growing.But i think she starts to focus on buds.Plant B worries me.Same size and not in stretching yet.Looks for light but grows in shadow :( not fair at all.
Day 39: Feeding day.Top flower looks smaller.Probably because she grew up and distance to light=18cm.Raised the light a bit.
Day 40: I'm scared.i fed her while drunk and cant remember what and how much i gave.Probably not even PH properly.
Day 41: Everythink looks fine.Some old leaves get yellow at the bottom,and some easy to pull off.
Day 42: Half way there...

OK! 55% of the process completed!i'm reverse counting.
Day 43: Feeding day.I removed 2 big dead leaves from the bottom and 3 small ones that couldn't get any light and pulled off with a slight touch.
Day 44: Umfortunately this diary cannot continue on a day by day progress.Due to COVID-19 i have to leave my plant alone.Every afternoon i follow my praying routines and i leave my plant blessed. See you on day 47

Day 47: Feeding day.Plant looks ok! a few dead leaves at the bottom.Pulled them off.
Day 48: White hairs growing fast.
Day 49: Lockdown is over here in Bucurest.People pay visits.No place for my tent.Bought a smaller one 40x40x120cm that fits only 1 plant.Plant B is history :( everything inside tent is so tight!EXPECT SHITTY photos

Lockdown is over,people pay visits.There is no place for my tent.Bought a new small box that fits her and placed it in a closet.Shitty conditions.
Day 50: Plant looks good.Even in a tight place.Aroma of garlic comes into my face when i open the tent.Buds getting bigger everyday.
Day 51: Feeding day.Bigger fan leaves become light green and some turn yellow,especially at the bottom.But overall plant looks very nice.i'm a bit worried
Day 52: A bit droopy today after feeding day as usual.Plant have 3 colors on leaves.Yellow for the old,light green middle age,dark green for new.I think she just getting old.
Day 53: Beginning of the Peasants' Revolt in England 1381.
Day 54: Thirty Years' War: The Peace of Prague is signed 1635.
Day 55: Plant leaves are still yellow.I may go buy some cal/mag tomorrow.Trichromes are not fully developed and i get to see a few amber.
Day 56: Feeding day.Added 2 ml of non organic cal/mag.Dose was 1,5ml Biogrow 2ml cal/mag 6.5ml bloom 6.5 ml max /1.5L final PH 6.1

It's quiet strange to hold a birthday party for your kid in a small flat while growing cannabis next door.
Day 57: Plant reacted nice on cal/mag addition.it probably needed some.I think fading has stopped.
Day 58: Feeding day.Drunk again.I assume i gave 1.5ml grow 2ml bloom 1.5ml top 0.25 ml calmag /L Its very difficult to be a muzik and not drink some vodka here in Vladivostok.
Day 59: Yellowing has not stopped.Some leaves are yellow where light hits the leaf.I dont know whats happening.Let's hope she reaches the end.
Day 60: Damn! the smell is strong.Aroma of fuel.More amber tricks on top.But not at the lower branches.I'm close!
Day 61: Flushing! From grow question ppl saw my day 60 macro and suggested to flush fast and chop this week.I'm not sure about that.My instict says otherwise,so i took some more macro photos from different spots for better analysis.
Day 62: Shit goes amber like crazy.
Day 63: 2 months and 2 days.Maybe i could give her 1 more week.Chop a few top buds and let the others mature.But i'm a newbie and this is my first grow ever.

What a journey!
First of all i'd like to thank the community of GD for the support,also a big thank you to GD team who gave this grow a feeling of race,Being able to see your first grow in a diary after some years rocks.
There are so many interesting growing ideas here.I can navigate and learn for hours.
AK420 by Seedstockers is an easy to grow plant and i recommend it to other first growers because it tolerated my mistakes,It was happy even when i played dramatically with the lights distance,flood it 2 times on week 3,found a flying insect roaming for a week in tent.She kept going.By the way all pictures on my diary are 1 hour before lights out.
I also want to mention how lights played a big role on canopy's structure.
I am using a very small 75w (actual 52w pulled from wall) Led light.I started with 2 plants same strain,this one was placed at the center and looked small to me.
The other one was stretching and made big spaces between nodes.Plant b actually grew under the leftovers side lights.
If i had a chance to go back in time i'd cut a few top buds of the stem and let one more week for the others to fatten.This plant needs 10 full weeks in my opinion.
I would also defoliate the lower leaves of every branch and destroy the growth tips.
There is also a watering/feeding schedule i followed in the middle of my grow.
It is the feedings of a Guru member Clubriot on his very first grow using biobizz products.I will post it here if any first growers using biobizz need some info.

Growing weed is a fantastic hobby.I enjoyed every day during covid lockdown and i caught myself staring my plant for more than 1 hour many times.
Giving life to a seed and see it grow in a simulation of a field is a unique experience.
If you first grower happen to live in a country where growing cannabis is illegal remember the golden rule!

**UPDATE** (7 days drying + 10 days in jar) : Smoking it now feels smooth.Taste comes from pine and herbs.No citrus this time.I went to the beach with family.I was at peak for 2,5 hours,was thinking and listening to everything kids say.Patience for everything and deep talking.I played 2,5 hours non stop and kids enjoyed it.I then started to relax a bit and coming back slowly the next 3-4 hours.Definetely a daytime smoke.
