Very minimal defoliation for A); only fan leaves blocking prime bud sites. Moderate defoliation for B); this one has struggled the entire grow, but I notice it does well after defoliation. I think she's just too thicc for her own good! I am worried about the density of foliage on A). She's furthest along so I don't want to stress her, but I'm also terrified of bud mold. Open to any suggestions. Minimal LST for both plants. They've got about as wide as I can handle. It's my first grow, so I'm seeing how adding all these extra bud sites can cause space issues. I'm seeing a lot of leaf clusters/stacked/crunched leaves.

My plant, named A), is 6 weeks into flower and is looking great, but I'm worried about the density of foliage in regard to bud mold. Should I defoliate? I have been taking the odd fan leaf here and there, just don't know how far I should take it this late.

See how many leaves are one on top of the other? Only the top most one is actually getting light. There's where you want to defoliate, get rid of all the leaves that are shaded.

Very light defoliation, just a fan leaf here and there in total darkness. Lowered my nitrogen intake because I noticed a bit of leaf tip curling after feeding. Plus the leaves on A) are very dark, which could be genetic, but could be nitrogen overload. Starting to wind-down on the feeding as I near harvest. Tricomes are still clear, but there are a few hairs turning orange. My current guess is that A) will be ready in roughly 3 weeks, which is perfect timing to lower nutrient feeding.
