Afterglow Let's start a new report. I tried to plant Doctor Seedsman CBD 30:1, but all three seeds showed tails and then died. Some crap. I had to seed Black D.O.G. from Humboldt Seed. This time I will cultivate 1 plant and will hold it until amber trichomes with beautiful leaves. Have never tried overripe varieties, and there are enough reserves from the last grove, so can experiment. Coconut was washed up to 0 PPM, then watered with 800 PPM nutrients combination. The planting site was a little spilled with clean water, so it should not die of nutrients concentration. Also bought two quantum boards, so will grow under new lamps. Now the bushes can be grown a little higher, since the lamp is now flat and 10-15 cm of space is freed up in grow-box height.

Afterglow Day 12 - it looks like it is very hot and dry for her. Seems to be need humidifier She is grow very fast if compare with my previous report. This time I didn't forget to charge coco-soil with nutritions.

Afterglow Relocating to grow box with new installed quantum boards. Since this week changing light schedule to 20/4 and feed with GHE Flora Grow/Micro/Bloom Day 18 is not so different from the coming one, but it only seems so. The plant began to thicken its own trunk twice. Day 20 - she grows so fast that she cannot support her own foliage weight. I thought that there was overwater, but the substrate was dry, and even when watered, the leaves still could not rise. Day 21 - she looks like a mutant. I've never seen such condition before. She really grows very very fast.

Afterglow What's wrong with her? Something abnormal is going on. Day 26 - moving to new home, defoliated 4 old leaves and relocated to new 3.8L pot. Root system looks perfect. Changing day light to to 12/12 Seems like because of Piranha & Tarantula plant quickly grew roots and she became crowded in a small pot and the leaves began to curl.

Believe it or not, it’s pretty normal. I’ve got some fastbuds green crack in my tent now, and they smell strongly of basil. Once they get Deeper into flower the smell shifts to something much stronger. It looks great! Happy Growing 🌱

Afterglow First week under 12 h lighting schedule. Have 4 main trunks and 4 supplementary . Had to remove 4 old big monstrous leaves before LST cause they blocked the light. Next week will move to pre-bloom feeding formula. She gonna start bloom within next 7 days. New leaves gonna be also strange curled. Seems roots system has space deficiency.

Afterglow She stretching and starting bloom. Leaves again become curled. What a strange cannabis strain! Every day encrease nutrition concentration, but drenage PPM always low. Seems to be she need more concentrated feeding, at least 1000 PPM. PH keeps perfect.

Afterglow Well, what can I say? The ugly duckling has turned into a beautiful princess. 8 slender stems form a diamond-shaped bush, and they are all at the same level. It was worth the struggle last week with the bending and tying; now, even if a branch starts to grow faster, with a light tie, it can be lowered to the desired level, or the others can be raised. The flowering is very interesting: the tops have bright yellow buds, and in some places, these buds are popping out of each other. It's already clear that the yield will be quite solid. The new leaves are no longer so twisted and look more like cannabis leaves. At the beginning of the week, I added about 4 centimeters of substrate, giving the roots more room to grow. There are no obvious signs of deficiency or disease. At the beginning of next week, I'll do a massive defoliation since secondary branches have started growing from the center, and they're growing very quickly and quite thick. By the end, there won't be just 8 stems, but probably all 14-16. Thanks for stopping by!

Afterglow At the beginning of the week, I trimmed the leaves so that the branches in the middle could get light and stretch out. All the buds are covered in beautiful yellow flowers. The upward growth has practically stopped, and now the buds are gaining mass. They've probably grown about 20 times since the beginning of the week. I can only imagine how huge they'll be by the end of flowering. There's no strong smell. The leaves are all intact, healthy, and show no signs of nutrient deficiency. Thanks for stopping by!

Afterglow It flowers remarkably fast. All 8 buds are about the same size, and this is my record, as in the last grow, such buds were at week 8 of flowering, not week 4 like now. By the end of flowering, the branch will look like a sausage. I've never experienced anything like this in my mini growing. It drinks 2 liters of water a day. PPM and pH are stable and not moving, both in the feed and in the drainage. It seems there is an excess of nitrogen, but I lean towards the genetics, as by the end of flowering, the leaves should darken. In the middle of the week, I had to remove a few leaves since they were blocking the central part, where 4 low branches are also growing, but with big buds as well.

Afterglow It started to smell like berries, sweet berries, such a strawberry scent. While the extractor is working, you can't smell it, but as soon as you turn it off, the aroma spreads immediately. I can just imagine how it will smoke after the harvest. This is actually my first sweet strain like this. The smell isn't strong, and the filters are doing great. It's not like the last grow with the skunk, where the smell was overwhelming and no filters helped. The branches aren't growing up anymore, only the buds are spreading out. In the last few days, the pH has started to drop, so I have to water it again with compost every hour. I'm trying to keep the drainage no higher than 1000 PPM and 6.2 pH. Tomorrow I'll slowly start transitioning to Ripen while keeping Micro. By the end of the week, it will be fully on Ripen. In general, we still have about three weeks to go. In the last week, I'll only give water.

UPD: (I'm scared to black up this yield. Everybody who tried (me also) become white faced and stoned for a couple of hours after first puff) страшно курить.. уносит в говно после первой хапки Первые 4 недели рос весьма со странными листьями, но после перевода на цветение все нормализовалось. Так как PH и TDS во время всего роста был практически идеальным, то не скажу на сколько хорошо для новичков. К пику созревания как обычно начал драматично падать PH, поэтому приходилось поливать два раза за час, чтобы нормализовать субстрат. В конце последней недели листья вдруг опустились словно от перелива и не поднимались два дня. К тому же перестали появляться новые пестики и решено было произвести харв. В итоге получилось, что на цветении было 49 дней (с момента перевода на 12 часовое освещение) вместо 53 по рекомендациям сид банка. К сожалению черный цвет растение так и не приняло, хотя было обещано. У многих гроверов цвет становился черным уже на 3-4 неделе цветения. Пару дней назад с женой попробовали после 10-дни дневной просушки и пролечки. С непривычки жена поймала бледного. Трихом не сказал бы что много, но они реально концентрированные.

Afterglow Overall, nothing complicated or supernatural. The only thing that really pleased me was the smell. It's really sweet. The other day I went out of town and smelled how wild cannabis grows. Night and day! There's a sweet aftertaste left in the mouth. It takes you to the depths after the first hit.

True story! Mix them! Done it and it was wonderful! I went to a San Diego dispensary and got the highest thc they had and kicked my ass—- then bought cbd and mixed it in the bowl and the flavor, smoothness, and effects were better! Keep us posted!

@TrollShaman, I don’t even know what to do with the harvest now... I’m scared to smoke... oh, it’s so scary. I haven’t smoked for a month, even though I have other harvests that don’t give me the pale. I let my friends try it - they were also shocked, thinking I gave them some kind of synthetic stuff.

@Afterglow, On one hand, that's good, low consumption :) Actually, I got a device from the Chinese, like an IQOS, but for ganja. With it, it's really not scary to use that at all. It's super easy to regulate the high :) And of course, congratulations on winning the contest! Truly well-deserved! Really awesome plant, and the photos are great.

@Humboldt_Seed_Organisation, yeah, spent a lot of time to aling branches with LST. Induced 12/12 one weeks ago. Now I know for sure why leaves were so strange. The first reason is quantum board. I bought 2 x 100watt Quantum boards. Swithed off one, cause it is tooooooo much! May be will switch it on at the end of bloom stage. Second one is a small pot. Having so much light and small area for roots defenitly affect on leaves. Third reason is good controlling of PH and PPM. If it would be deficciency of nutritions or not regular feeding, or bad (both low and high) concentration, I think plant would look more healthy even with two conditions above ))) Million thanks for your concern.

@TrollShaman, well, as long as the filters are working, there's no smell. After they are turned off, it smells a bit like terps, a kind of "dry" woody scent. But if you take a leaf and rub it between your fingers, it smells like berries, probably strawberries.
