So welcome to week 5, by a mistake I lost all my notes from this week so I can't give you a complete day by day review... sorry Day 29-32: Beside Day 32 there is nothing much to say, she stretched for about 1cm, temp. was raising and pot was drying. :-) At day 32 I fed her with 2l water mixed with some fresh nutrients and discovered something which could be the first pistils? Day 33: Nothing to say, nothing to worry about. She's doing great. She got bigger, for now 22cm total height which is good, but also bad for me since my box is very limited, if she stretches for more than 10cm i could face some problems with the light since I can't move it. I tried to bend the main stem a bit more, but at this point I am too afraid to break it... and I don't want to throw 5 weeks into the trash. Day 34: I build a fast-low-budget ScrOG net and installed it, I should have done it earlier but I simply underestimated the stretch. The main stem made around 5cm in less than a week and I'm vertically limited. So I could bend her from around 22cm height to 16cm with a light to plant distance of 32cm, now she has around 17cm space befor I might get into lightburn problems. Maybe the side branches can now follow up as well. Day 35: She's doing great since the new setup yesterday. I discovered more pistils, mostly at the main stem so I'd say that she opened the "pre-flowering door". **UPDATE**: I changed a bit, I removed the wire that were pulling down the main stem to the net, and placed it directly under the net. Guess it worked fine I haven't hear anything break or something, I saved some more cm height and it seems more stable than the wire one did since my scrog net is build with elastic material. I also made the squares on the left smaller, that the net lays upon the stem and not the leafs. I saved 5cm height, but I'm still nervous about the stretch. Nevermind... I hope this goes well, somehow. :-) I'll stick to this week 1 nutrients schedule and hope she hits the flowering stage by the end of the 3rd week so I can move on. I wish you all good luck and happy growing, see you next week.

Are there any ways to do this in a Low-Stress type? Would a late ScrOG net help to keep the stretch small? LED -> Plant distance is currently (week 5) ~34cm (~20cm left befor she might suffer from lightburn). LED is not moveable. Plant itself is healthy.

if you're vertically limited, and the stems aren't too thick that they will be difficult to bend (without breaking) then yes, you can still do a scrog at this point. Obviously it's still better to do during the veg-phase, but if there's no other way out and you'd hit the lights during the early-flower stretch, then that's how it is. happy growing!

Could this come from any stress? like nut. overdose after/while defoliation? or wrong PH? Because I can't find any flies/bugs which could eat my plant. I count 6 leaves which are "infected". Should I cut them off? And is it recommended to use neem oil at this point?

Could be you knocked them with some scissors or nails when trimming or defoliating. I'm not seeing evidence of real pest dmg. It's not suggested to use neem oil the last 3-4 weeks of flower. You can do a wash when you harvest if your worried. Happy Growing! 👊

Harvest is scheduled for Sunday, they look good to me but i am also a very impatient person. I made a couple shots from today (current week is not published yet and different buds), what do you think? Harvest or add a week?

Hey friend. Harvest totally depends on what u want. U like it a little bit more uplifting or some more couch lock? I like to aim for 50/50 clear and amber. U can always harvest in parts if u think some buds are more ready then other ones. As other users say one week extra can't do any bad things since a lot of trichs are still clear. Just check them everyday and decide for yourself what u prefer. You're almost there, one week extra isn't that long anymore 😉

As Race91 said, there are a lot of clear trichs still, yet on the other hand, I see a good amount of amber too. You’re in the harvest zone and it wouldn’t hurt to chop, but if it was me, I’d add a week to let those clear ones ripen up.

Those are very clear still my friend but a lot happens in 3 days at the end so keep an eye on them instead of doing it by dates.

Weedovauruscommented4 years ago
@PeterGrowfin, It will sure pay off ! But for the some price you can have an 1,5m*1,5m grow tent all included ! 😌 That pay off faster :d Hope you'll continue nice diaries in this growbox 👊

PeterGrowfincommented4 years ago
@Weedovaurus, Yeah, was thinking alot if it will work in such small space, now i'm happy that i did it :) ofc it is a big investment, but i think in a couple grows it will pay off. :-)

@PeterGrowfin, Oh damn, I wasn't expecting this price 😅 This growbox look very nice but too expensive for me :d

Wonderful work. So what is the size of your grow space?
HazeyBobby
HazeyBobbycommented4 years ago
@PeterGrowfin, can't wait for the experience ... will start a micro-crop in a few months hopefully. Got a few more plants to flower/harvest still in my current setup. I can imagine working in a tiny space to be a pain but hopefully controlling the climate inside might be easier 😁🤞🤞
PeterGrowfin
PeterGrowfincommented4 years ago
@HazeyBobby, Well there is probably some beginners luck involved as well :-), the bad thing about a small growspace is to work in it when you setup a ScrOG net, or making some nice pics, almost impossible but its really fun! I'll keep up with your grow, since Microgrows are pretty rare and I still can learn something new from other growers. :-)

@PeterGrowfin, yep that's fairly close to the size I'll be going to ... you're doing a real fine job there - inspiring and hopeful :)

Congratulations on the harvest friend. Buds are looking fantastic. I think it will be some more then 20g when dried and cured. Wonderful job👍😉

PeterGrowfincommented4 years ago
@Clutch, They're almost dry, cant really manage the humidity and these days are really hot, got temperatures around 27+ inside the box on a humidity of 30%. Tomorrow after work i will trim the rest and put it into my glasses with those boveda packs for curing. Guess it is not a really good sign, but i cant change it so i hope for the best. I'm curious too :)

@PeterGrowfin, good to read buddy. Make sure they don't dry too quick. My buds were dry in 7 days last year and 10-14 days would have been better. Always better to leave a little bit more moisture then completely dry because that's more adjustable for curing then dried out. I'm curious for the outcome 😁
PeterGrowfin
PeterGrowfincommented4 years ago
@Clutch, Thanks Buddy, last and next coming days will be really hot so maybe it will be dry sooner as i expected :) Can't wait to see the dried outcome and to share it with ya'll

PeterGrowfin
PeterGrowfincommented4 years ago
@Weedovaurus, that is why i added one more week, i am checking them daily now and in last couple days alot of the clear ones have turned milky and even alot of amber colored, so im looking forward to harvest sunday :) but when it still doesn't look good I add another week.
Weedovaurus
Weedovauruscommented4 years ago
@PeterGrowfin, keep looking trichomes color 😄
PeterGrowfin
PeterGrowfincommented4 years ago
@Weedovaurus, Thanks buddy, if she keeps developing like that, than the harvest day will be sunday, she's looking good so far, the extra week was a good decision.

HazeyBobbycommentedweek 134 years ago
Nice shots of the trichomes ... looks like some are more ready than others :) ... you can always consider harvesting each bud separately as they ripen - very manageable with a small grow.
HazeyBobby
HazeyBobbycommented4 years ago
@PeterGrowfin, yes that's what I meant ... it's a method of harvesting that results in quality across the entire harvest... but you do need a separate drying space. One day ... 🤞👍
PeterGrowfin
PeterGrowfincommented4 years ago
@HazeyBobby, You mean like cutting off the stem of the Buds which look ready and leave the others alone? As far as i know you should let them dry in darkness, I don't have a dark place besides that box with a carbon filter.

@Clutch, Thanks buddy, to be honest she made it really easy for me. It was a good decision to get quality products instead of some cheap stuff. If everything goes well the harvest time will be 26th, but i gonna add a week if necessary. Can't wait to taste her.

@Complicate, Thanks, I would like a bigger growspace, just for a bigger yield but I do not have the space yet, I need something more stealthier and this box is perfect :)

Very healthy and green. She looks super happy. If u are worried about the bite spots try a neem oil treatment. Only 4th week of flower so u can spray everything now I think. It will not cause harm and is an excellent preventive solution. It will only get worse by now if u don't do anything and they are hard to spot. I wish I did it last year when I saw the first signs of it in week 8 or 9 instead of just removing leaves.... Keep growing strong friend💪😉
PeterGrowfin
PeterGrowfincommented5 years ago
@Clutch, For today I can't do anything about it, but I will get some neem oil tomorrow, just in case. The problem is that I don't know what it could be and I don't want to treat her with anything if it is not necessary. As far as I can tell there are 3-5 leaves which looks like they got eaten. I will provide some photos tomorrow and open a grow question. Thanks for your advice! and grow green. :-)
