Welcome to week 7
Day 43: So it seems like She is really happy about the defoliation. I also discovered some kind of mutation on one side branch, At the beginning it was one branch but it somehow split into two, tried to make a picture of this, not that easy because I can't move her around. Pretty strange.
Day 44: She's doing fine, will keep the soil dry over night and feed her tomorrow morning.
Day 45: Soil was pretty dry so I watered her today with 2l, shes doing fine but grows to fast, less available space day by day, hope that she will stop that soon. Flower started as well, looks really nice.
Day 46: Overall she seems to be fine, but she is growing to much which is a problem, the main stem is to stiff to bend it around anymore. I also saw a couple more leafs with bitten spots, but the hell... I can't find ANYTHING so I'll leave it as it is...
Day 47: She is doing fine, just don't want to stop growing...
Day 48: Nothing special, She's doing fine.
Day 49: Today was feeding day, 2l water as always. Its getting harder to make photos. The last days were pretty cold, but she is fine and she starts slowly to smell more (at the moment when you get close to the young buds) and it smells really nice.
Thats it, see you next week!
Are there any ways to do this in a Low-Stress type? Would a late ScrOG net help to keep the stretch small? LED -> Plant distance is currently (week 5) ~34cm (~20cm left befor she might suffer from lightburn). LED is not moveable. Plant itself is healthy.
if you're vertically limited, and the stems aren't too thick that they will be difficult to bend (without breaking) then yes, you can still do a scrog at this point. Obviously it's still better to do during the veg-phase, but if there's no other way out and you'd hit the lights during the early-flower stretch, then that's how it is.
happy growing!
Could this come from any stress? like nut. overdose after/while defoliation? or wrong PH? Because I can't find any flies/bugs which could eat my plant. I count 6 leaves which are "infected". Should I cut them off? And is it recommended to use neem oil at this point?
Could be you knocked them with some scissors or nails when trimming or defoliating. I'm not seeing evidence of real pest dmg. It's not suggested to use neem oil the last 3-4 weeks of flower. You can do a wash when you harvest if your worried. Happy Growing! 👊
Harvest is scheduled for Sunday, they look good to me but i am also a very impatient person. I made a couple shots from today (current week is not published yet and different buds), what do you think? Harvest or add a week?
Hey friend. Harvest totally depends on what u want. U like it a little bit more uplifting or some more couch lock? I like to aim for 50/50 clear and amber. U can always harvest in parts if u think some buds are more ready then other ones. As other users say one week extra can't do any bad things since a lot of trichs are still clear. Just check them everyday and decide for yourself what u prefer. You're almost there, one week extra isn't that long anymore 😉
As Race91 said, there are a lot of clear trichs still, yet on the other hand, I see a good amount of amber too. You’re in the harvest zone and it wouldn’t hurt to chop, but if it was me, I’d add a week to let those clear ones ripen up.
@PeterGrowfin, It will sure pay off ! But for the some price you can have an 1,5m*1,5m grow tent all included ! 😌 That pay off faster :d
Hope you'll continue nice diaries in this growbox 👊
@Weedovaurus, Yeah, was thinking alot if it will work in such small space, now i'm happy that i did it :) ofc it is a big investment, but i think in a couple grows it will pay off. :-)
@PeterGrowfin, can't wait for the experience ... will start a micro-crop in a few months hopefully. Got a few more plants to flower/harvest still in my current setup. I can imagine working in a tiny space to be a pain but hopefully controlling the climate inside might be easier 😁🤞🤞
@HazeyBobby, Well there is probably some beginners luck involved as well :-), the bad thing about a small growspace is to work in it when you setup a ScrOG net, or making some nice pics, almost impossible but its really fun! I'll keep up with your grow, since Microgrows are pretty rare and I still can learn something new from other growers. :-)
@Clutch, They're almost dry, cant really manage the humidity and these days are really hot, got temperatures around 27+ inside the box on a humidity of 30%. Tomorrow after work i will trim the rest and put it into my glasses with those boveda packs for curing. Guess it is not a really good sign, but i cant change it so i hope for the best. I'm curious too :)
@PeterGrowfin, good to read buddy. Make sure they don't dry too quick. My buds were dry in 7 days last year and 10-14 days would have been better. Always better to leave a little bit more moisture then completely dry because that's more adjustable for curing then dried out. I'm curious for the outcome 😁
@Clutch, Thanks Buddy, last and next coming days will be really hot so maybe it will be dry sooner as i expected :) Can't wait to see the dried outcome and to share it with ya'll
@Weedovaurus, that is why i added one more week, i am checking them daily now and in last couple days alot of the clear ones have turned milky and even alot of amber colored, so im looking forward to harvest sunday :) but when it still doesn't look good I add another week.
@Weedovaurus, Thanks buddy, if she keeps developing like that, than the harvest day will be sunday, she's looking good so far, the extra week was a good decision.
Nice shots of the trichomes ... looks like some are more ready than others :) ... you can always consider harvesting each bud separately as they ripen - very manageable with a small grow.
@PeterGrowfin, yes that's what I meant ... it's a method of harvesting that results in quality across the entire harvest... but you do need a separate drying space. One day ... 🤞👍
@HazeyBobby, You mean like cutting off the stem of the Buds which look ready and leave the others alone? As far as i know you should let them dry in darkness, I don't have a dark place besides that box with a carbon filter.
@Clutch, Thanks buddy, to be honest she made it really easy for me. It was a good decision to get quality products instead of some cheap stuff.
If everything goes well the harvest time will be 26th, but i gonna add a week if necessary. Can't wait to taste her.
@Complicate, Thanks, I would like a bigger growspace, just for a bigger yield but I do not have the space yet, I need something more stealthier and this box is perfect :)
Very healthy and green. She looks super happy. If u are worried about the bite spots try a neem oil treatment. Only 4th week of flower so u can spray everything now I think. It will not cause harm and is an excellent preventive solution. It will only get worse by now if u don't do anything and they are hard to spot. I wish I did it last year when I saw the first signs of it in week 8 or 9 instead of just removing leaves.... Keep growing strong friend💪😉
@Clutch, For today I can't do anything about it, but I will get some neem oil tomorrow, just in case. The problem is that I don't know what it could be and I don't want to treat her with anything if it is not necessary. As far as I can tell there are 3-5 leaves which looks like they got eaten. I will provide some photos tomorrow and open a grow question. Thanks for your advice! and grow green. :-)
Good luck friend, I just started up my second round of this strain. If u want to know how she develops u can check my previous diary. With lots of trial and more error in it haha.
Keep growing strong 💪👍
