Started a few strains in paper towels on 4/8/20 on temp controlled plate. 10/10 germination. Then placed in rapid rooter pods or peat pellets. 3 Glueberry O.G. autos look the best of the bunch. They were under florescent lights for 3 days. Now moved into veg closet under blurple led. The other 2 strains will be outdoor plants in a few weeks time...

Ready to take off. Gonna regret starting them in small pots but i have limited space at the moment until my girls in the tent are finished up. These are in a small closet veg area. My 5x5 tent will be occupied by 4 original glue clones for a couple more weeks

Transplanted to final container finally. Did it as gently as possible hopefully a quick recovery before they start flower. Still under my led light for maybe 1 more week then they can go into the tent under 600 watt hps. Ordered a 480 watt quantum board also to see what kind of results that can offer. They have had they're first real feeding so with any luck they will really start taking off!

Training has been going well... until yesterday. Did some accidental topping on one of the ladies trying to get the top bent down a little more. Made a sound like a fresh broccoli stem getting snapped! Horrible.... took the top and made cuttings for clones... yes I know they are autos but maybe I'll get lucky and they will grow out? Lol. Still not seeing any signs of pre flower which is a good thing considering my blunder.... other than that they are healthy and are primed to Bush out pretty well I think. Also got my new quantum board led up and in perfect time as the heat from the hid was getting to be a bit much. Its soooooo bright! Hoping it will provide some major improvements come harvest!

They are doing very well. They one i broke trying to do Lst seems to have recovered nicely... and just in time as they have begun preflower. Feed once at the beginning of the week and just water for the last 2 days before I ease into the bloom nutes. Uploaded some pics of the nutrient base line I am using. It was not listed in this site's selection of nutrients. I know its Australian. If anyone has used it please leave me any inputs or suggestions. The last crop harvested with it was a little underwhelming but the strain was also so I hope it was just the genetics. Thanks for looking

Going along smoothly. They are thirsty girls! The 2 in the 2.5 gal pots need watered/fed every other day at least. Went 3 days this week without and they started to droop. It did get warm for a couple days also. Until I get the window ac installed in the room I just gave a vent booster fan pulling outside air in and a exhaust fan plugged into a temperature controller set to kick on above 79 degrees. Its definitely working alot less now with the led. It was constantly running with the 600 watt hps on. And at 20 hours a day that makes a huge difference in wasted energy. Really happy with the new set up. Ready to see these girls staaaaaack up! 🌿🌳✌️

Everything is looking great they are drinking up the water and responding well to the feedings. Water only for the last 2 feedings seeing some slight leaf tip burn on 2 so I will back off a touch on nutes I think. They seem to swell daily which ya love to see! High Hope's here!

Girls have been thirsty. They got a little too dry one day this weekend some leaves dropped but they seem fine. Also had a little issue with heat which was fixed quickly. Other than that they seem fine runoff ph looked good. Ppm was pretty high so they got a decent soak with rainwater ph'd at 6.3

Stacking Up! Feeling like it will be a great harvest. Dialed back on nutes again but now they are ready to really swell so I increased ppm a touch. 2 of the plants pistils started to brown but I'm not sure as to why... the one that looks the best (still all white hairs) should really be the champ.... we will go a couple weeks further than Dutch Passions 77 day estimates, im guessing. That would put me at harvest next week so.... Not gonna happen. Smell has been a little underwhelming but they have a few weeks to ripen yet. Feeding every other day they are drinking it up! Plucked a few big leaves for more light and cleaned up lower growth that wouldn't offer much. I think I'm all dialed in now.... have another tent coming so I can separate these autos from my photo period stains so they can get flipped so I hope bu next update to have that done... we'll see 🤞✌️

I didnt think they were gonna finish as fast as the breeder claim but I should've been checking the trichs sooner! One is showing some amber heads early in thos week. Wish I had started the flush sooner now but they have been on ph'd rainwater for 2 feedings now. The other 2 ( in the red plastic pots) aren't as ready yet so I'm hoping the flush will time out perfectly for peak maturity! Fingers crossed! They have mostly milky trichs at this point and they are in 2.5 gal pots so I'm hoping I can have them flushed well in about 10 days. Some stems can hardly hold the weight. All seems to be pointing towards a nice little harvest. Also got my new tent to see these finish in so that will be short lived. Will hang dry these in there also. I have been busy af with cleaning up the room, running new exhaust and ac ducting to make room for the new tent, tending the outdoor garden etc.. getting behind on my diaries. Harvest soon approaching though! Cant wait!

So I have been dealing with an infestation here. I'm still not 100 percent what they are. Been researching too. Gnats or whiteflies? Help me out guys. I introduced ladybugs into the environment last night. I won't spray these buds with anything so close to harvest so ladybugs to the rescue.... I hope. There is alot of larva on some branches and most undersides of leaves... I will get better pics sorry. Buds are frosty trichomes are mostly cloudy. Runoff is still high so flush will continue while the ladybugs work. Hope they will colonize. Not sure I have that kind of time tho... any input is welcomed. Not sure what the best course of action is now

Help me identify these pests! Not sure what they are but I have introduced ladybugs into the environment. Not sure if there is time to colonize them tho so close to harvest. Not sure what else I can do. I can kick em outside to finish if need be...Thanks for any advice

@contrapunk , Mate is it works but remember that diatomaceous earth, expecially the calcinate version, if inhaled can irritate lungs.

@Rap_a_cap Would you know if diatomaceous earth spray work on aphids?

@Rap_a_cap yes I did see a couple ants yesterday. More than likely going to come down to washing the plant pre and post harvest. Have been researching that process already for my outdoor crops this year. Be worth it to try anyway! I purchased some azamax to perform a soil drench.

Azadiractin is not very systematic so I dont think it will help much. I suggest a folair spray or lace wing larva.

Mate, in addition to weed, I biologically grow dozens of roses and clematis and over the years I have learned that nettle macerate sprayed on roses is very effective against aphids. If you can't do it at home, you can buy it ready, it doesn't alter the flavor (at least the homemade one). For small infestations I personally quickly pass the flame of the lighter on the aphid columns, simple, fast, effective and harmless for the stems. Try it. They will die in a second.

These have been banished outsidevto finish all week since the aphid issue persists... tho in much smaller numbers. They got hosed off with water where the outbreak was the worst. Chopped leaves off in prep for harvest when they went outside. That should help the aphids can fuck right off. Top dressed the soil with diatomaceous earth to kill any in there...thinking of washing the buds after harvest. There is dead skin and honeydew all over them. Next update will be the last ready to move on lol. ✌️🧙‍♂️

Really did better than I expected all things considered! Smoked great in a joint already. After cure should really be nice. They hung for 7 days in roughly 65% humidity between 71 and 75 degrees. No signs of aphids on them since I tried washing my buds for the first time. The aphid infestation was strong on these at the end. Ladybugs did their best but it was too close to the finish line. Smokes smooth and clean I will say

So these grew out pretty well. Really impressed with Dutch passion genetics. Even through the late aphid invasion they bulked up pretty thick! Had a weigh up of 284 grams. I couldn't believe it really. Had to weigh it twice. Plus there was an additional 18 grams from branches I managed to break off while spraying the stems off with water a week before harvest in an attempt to simply blast the asshole aphids away. For a grand total of 302 grams! Of which about 63 grams were larf or buds that weren't very big. Will use for concentrate more than likely. As you can see in the pics of some of the leaves there was shed skin from aphids and honeydew all over from the little bastards. The budwash worked well enough for me to be convinced of it's worth. Smooth smoke not much in terms of great flavor yet but will improve I'm sure. Pictured here is about 5 oz. I have a partner I grow with and we split 50/50. Excited to see what my DP bubba island kush girls will do. Check that diary out. They are in week 5 of flower. Thanks for checking out my diaries! ✌️🧙‍♂️
