After much effort Ripper seeds can introduce one of the most appreciated varieties by genetic collectors.
They have worked to get one of the few lines of Sour Diesel feminized version preserving the main qualities of a good Sour D: flavor and potency.
Sour Ripper has a sativa structure with a wide distance between branches, little foliage and a more compact and desirable bud than the Original Sour Diesel we work.
It's flowering period is 65-70 days.
The most "undergrown" taste of the United States available for your collection.
Vegetative: 1 to 2 weeks
Genotype: 60% Sativa / 40% Índica
Indoor flowering: 65/70 days.
Outdoor flowering: Mid October
Yield: Medium / High
Effect: Powerful.

2018-02-27 Week 9 Day 1
Did some measuring, photographing, fimming, defoliation and LST, no water needed this time since I increased to 1,5l/time but instead of watering her every day, I will water the girls every two days. Looks nice and healthy.
The reason they havn't grown any particular I guess is because I transplanted them into a bigger pot recently, and they have to stretch their roots now when they got more room.
Nr1 is 35cm
Nr2 is 39cm
Nr2 is gonna be a kind of guinea pig. I have been wondering how big difference it makes in yield/bud size if I cut away all small branches that doesn't get much light, where the top is very small and develop a lot slower than the ones that get a lot of light. Compared to nr1 that will keep most of it's branches and leaves - at least for a while longer.
I believe that it's better to remove them as early as possible because they probably will be cut later anyway. which means that all the energy that branch should have gotten instead goes to the ones that don't waste it.
@Ripper, That sound great. If you document it here i will follow that grow.
Are you going to veg her big inside and then put here outside when summer starts?
You will probably love this. Let it get a bit amber. Sour D is one of my favorite sativas. It’s very relaxing while not making you sleepy and is decent for pain. Very uplifting, social.
@TheFairyBudMother, On paper it looks like a good strain and the medical benefits too. I always let them get amber to smoothen out the thc effect.
And by your description its a very good strain for me.
Thanks TFBM.
@biggreens420, I will have to try that next time, but i have limited veg space so i cant have that big pots. Only if the flower is done in one of the two flower rooms.
