Alright. Back to autoflowers! 2x Dark Devil (first time growing it) and 2x Royal Creamatic (I just love that strain!)
Preparations I did yesterday:
- Took seeds out of fridge to prepare them for the new climate
- Prepared a bucket of water so it can sit for 12h
- Presoaked the medium with Root Complex so it already starts to 'work' and settle the ph
- Installed my DIY 4x 3,5W LED light fixture

DAY 1 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 01.01.2018!!!
Dropped the seeds and covered them slightly with soil. Watered them a bit with Root Complex. Covered the pots with cellophane so the humudity stays high at around 99% RH.

DAY 6
Dark Devil (DD) 1 & 2 did pop out their heads yesterday morning.
Royal Creamatic (RC) popped out yesterday night
Royal Creamatic 2 is still doing its underground stuff. I hope it won't take too long...
Feeding Root Complex only. Water has been ph'd to 6,5.
I also switched on the blue leds from the Viparspectra to widen the light spectrum.
The small bulbs are 3,5W led lights, 4000K, 430 lm
Room temp: 24C, Humidity: around 75% when the tent is closed.
WEEK 2 DAY 1
All good. Royal Creamtic Nr. 2 did pop its head out yesterday morning too so all 4 have germinated just fine. Watering only a little each time to keep the soil moist but not wet.
WEEK 2 DAY 3
The growth is starting to kick in. Leaves are about 2 cm by now.
WEEK 2 DAY 5
Yes, growth has kicked in. Leaves are about 3,5 cm by now. You can literally see how they get bigger :O
WEEK 2 DAY 7
I'll be raising the light fixture a bit. The light spot is getting to narrow to lighten the entire plants. Starting to water the whole pot instead of just around the roots. Feeding 1 liter per plant until it dries out.
WEEK 3 DAY 3
They're starting to look like plants xD...
Removed my DIY fixture and lowered the LED to 80 cm from canopy.
Also switched the light shedule to 20/4. I'll be sticking to this through the entire grow.
-----
DAY 6
All good I guess
-----
DAY 7
I lowered the LEDS to 70cm from canopy.
I dropped RH to 60%.
I only regret putting the seeds THAT deep into the soil. The lower leaves are touching the ground so I'll be cutting them away next week. I'll just wait a bit until the plant is a bit stronger. Autos usually do not want me to cut anything ;)
WEEK 4 DAY 4
All good imho...
Even though I usually never touch autos except for LST, I had to cut the very lower leaves and branches so I could fill up the entire pots. I planted the seeds a bit too deep down this time but I don't think it's gonna stress them a lot. I just cut 1 leave/branch per day so no worries. They're still praying happily to the light ;)
No nutrients fed so far. Gonna wait until the first minimal deficiencies show up. Less is more with autos...
The R Creamatic is growing quite fat leaves, looking very large and 'indicaish'.... likes :)
WEEK 5 DAY 1
Fed them 1,5l today. They start drinking more it seems.
I'm still feeding Root Complex only but this time I added a single drop of Hesi Supervit.
They are taking off now... looking good imho :)
-----
WEEK 5 DAY 5
The first tiny pistils are showing up on all 4 plants (sry, no time for pics)
-----
WEEK 5 DAY 7
All 4 are showing some more pistils so here we go...
Still not feeding anything but Root Juice and it was a good decision. Both Dark Devils have some slight burns on the lower leaves so I'll flush the plants next time. Weird...
WEEK 6 DAY 1
Flowering!
Pistils are clearly out now.
Now I'll let the pots dry out to get some oxygene to the roots, then I'll flush with a very, very low nutrient solution. Looking good imho :)
Dropped the humidity to +- 40% RH
@SkunkyThanks! I feel like the lighting always throws off the pictures. They either look really good or really terrible. Thanks for checking mine out. They finally feel like real plants haha
@wheedtobeus420, thankies! I just checked your journal! You know, it could be my camera or the settings I chose. I don't think mine are so much different than yours. Just gotta find a better way to get really neutral colors in here. No worries. You're golden too..... ;) Thanks again!!!
@wheedtobeus420, yes, I always stick to 20/4 when doing autos. I've always got good resutls with that shedule. I feel like it kinda makes it up for the shorter life-cycle of the plant :) Thanks!
