Greetings! Having miniscule experience with a Kratky setup for cannabis (see my other diary tagged [Kratky]), I decided to go for a full run in pure Kratky style! This means NO aeration of the water. It is a set-and-forget system. [Strain] - Copenhagen Kush from Copenhagen Seeds. This is a photoperiod plant despite chosen Strain says otherwise. Since they no longer sell the photoperiod variant of their Copenhagen Kush, I have to mark is as an autoflowering plant -- however, it is not! It is a photoperiod strain from before they bred it with a Lowryder. [Setup] - No aeration. No noisy and pesky pumps and goo in the water. - No pH'ing. I will not be adjusting or measuring the nutrient solution. This might very well be a bad choice, but that is how I have chosen to do this grow. - No maintaining of TDS/PPM. I mix the nutrients according to schedule and let it do whatever it wants. [Goal] - Clones. Lots and lots of clones. I want this girl to be a big ol' mama, so I'm growing her in a hydroponic setup for fastest possible vegetative growth in order to cut clones. For the project I have in mind. 50 clones should suffice.

Another two weeks and she'll be ready for some high-stress training and giving off a handful of clones for further projects. No change in environment. Feeding schedule change: - FloraMicro (1.4ml/L -> 1.6ml/L)

I got my hands on some Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow A&B with the pH Perfect functionality and decided to just switch nutes mid-veg. That was a mistake! She drooped for days, got stunted and yellowed up a bit. Today, however, she is perking up a bit. Not optimal growth yet, but I'm faily certain she will pull through. If her condition worsens I'll cut a few small clones and put her base in soil. Change in environment: - Light (12/12 -> 18/6) - Temperature (Day: 21°C -> 25°C; Night: 16°C -> 19°C) Change in feeding: - Nutrition (GHE @Lucas Formula -> Sensi Grow A&B) - pH (7.5 -> 6.0)

Switched to Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow A&B at half strength a few days ago. She's been droopy and yellowing bottom-up ever since. Yesterday I gave her full recommended strength. This stopped the yellowing, but she's still droopy. Why? Hydroponics pH is 6.0 26C@40%RH

Hey buddy :-) . With hydro you have to lower the pH value further to 5.6 - 5.8 and you have to defensively raise your air humidity to at least 62% fr to your question by email, calmly increase the feed, it will do you good you do that great 👍👌

Hi mate! Most of the time droopy leaves in hydro means lack of oxygen in the root zone. Also you might want to raise the humidity closer to 70% during veg and even in flower I recommend atleast 50% 👌🏿

Hey buddy :-) I would first set the ph to 5.6 -5.8, then bring the humidity significantly higher to at least 60%, and pour a little less 👍👌. but otherwise your plant looks great so far 👌🙏🏻🌱

Due to an experimental approach, I put this girl through hell. I'm sorry. She's had her nutrients and mediums switched completely multiple times, but now she has finally settled in soil. However, I did cut my first clone and both mother and clone are doing pretty well by now.

After several transplants, she is now doing much better. Well done, girl! Rubbing her stalk, she smells of wild berries and anise. Too bad there won't be any available flower to taste until all 49 clones are obtained *and* they've flowered. Change in environment: - Daylight temperature (28C -> 25C) - Medium (Hydro -> Soil) Change in feed: - Sensi Grow A&B (4ml/L -> 0ml/L)

We're finally getting some growth out of this girl after her being manhandled by a psychopath. Looks like she's ready for another 2 clones in a few days. I may mainline her simultaneously. No change in feed. Change in environment: Light schedule (18/6 -> 24/0)

Took a few clones and tied down tops further. We're looking at 7 clones so far. Not much to say about the plant this week. No change in feed. No change in environment.

Been a little too occupied to photograph the plants and update the diaries. Clones are starting to root, which is wonderful. Can't wait to see how the experiment will go.

Starting to look like a neat lady. The smell reminds me of tea: berries and sweet anise. The original experiment called for 49 clones, but it turns out that this phenotype doesn't handle hydroponics very well and therefore is not that suited for experimentin' hydroponically. Unsure how to process and handle this. Change in feed: - None Change in environment: RH (40% -> 50%) due to heavy precipitation

Been away for weeks. Had all the other girls and clones die on me except this one. She stretched to 40cm! Seems to be doing rather OK now despite her spaced nodes. Flavours of anise and berries prevail! Looking forward to tasting this one.

She's doing fairly well, I'd say. Trimmed away some larf at the bottom, taking up nutrition and focus. Now she should be able to put all of her energy into the main colas. No change in environment. No change in feeding schedule.

Cranked up the Bloom feed a little for the next 2 weeks, then she'll undergo about a week of flush before harvest. She's beginning to get nice and frosty. Decent genetics :)

She grew very well and survived a metric ton of abuse and neglect. Copenhagen Seed Company sure know how to breed 'em! Too bad I had to cut her down 2-3 weeks before planned due to unforeseen events. Will definitely try out this breeder in the future.
