Hay there! I decided to let the seeds swell in a chamomile tea for only 24 hours.
The chamomile has antibacterial effects to protect the seedling from fungi and bacteria. Next day i put the seeds on a damp kitchen paper and let them germinate there.
After that i put the seedlings in a small pot with soil. I will take Plagron lightmix as soil. The earth is only very slightly enriched with nutrients. So as not to over-fertilize the seedlings. In the course of growth, they will still be supplied with enough. That's it for this week.
First day of a new week. I decided to start fertilizing this week. As it is in the instructions. I will only use a little less than specified and slowly approach the dose.
On the eight day, the second * pair of leaves * was formed in 2 out of 4 plants. With increasing biological mass, the little ones will also be able to develop more energy for their growth. Let's hope they grow up quickly.
On the eleven day, all plants have the second *pair of leaves*
The plants became 2 times this week 200ml of water with 0,3g/l Hybrid Powderfeeding by Greenhousefeeding.
Day 15: The week starts with small, strong seedlings. That grow steadily and become stronger.
Day 16: A quick look into the grow tent and you can see 4 small strong plants.
Day 18: Today i installed an oscillating fan in the tent to simulate a natural environment for the plants. So that they grow up healthy and strong.
Day 21: End of the week it looks nice. I think.
The plants became 2 times this week 200ml of water with 0,3g/l Hybrid Powderfeeding by Greenhousefeeding.
Day 22: Today I increased the lamp output to 100 watts. So that the fresh new leaves are supplied with enough light. In the little video you can see how I mix the fertilizer. I also find the play of colors of the individual components quite beautiful. Of course I also solved the small visible residue before I watered the plants.
Day 25: The trunk is slowly becoming a trunk. With increasing growth and the number of leaves, the seedlings slowly become young plants.
Day 27: The first roots protrude from the bottom of the pot. I think it's time to plant the young plants in larger pots.
The plants became 3 times this week 200ml of water with 0,4g/l Hybrid Powderfeeding by Greenhousefeeding.
The new week has started. Right at the beginning I topped plants 1 and 2. Apparently 3 and 4 will follow on Friday. I have now also set the fertilizer to 0.6g per liter. The repotting unfortunately has to wait a day because my mycorrhiza order has not yet arrived.
Day 30: The dynomyco mycorrhiza arrived today. So i decided to repot the plants. The picture of the roots confirms my decision.
Day 32: I decided to tie down a few leafs.
Day 35: After topping you can see in 2 of the 4 plants that new shoots form from the interface. I am happy to see that the small plants have such a growth tendency. The awnings have already overtaken the size of my palm.
The plants became 3 times this week 300ml of water with 0,6g/l Hybrid Powderfeeding by Greenhousefeeding.
New week new shoots new leaves we just let the plants grow a bit. The plant in the back left of the tent definitely seems to be a bit slower, which doesn't mean that this is bad.
Day 39: The root tips can already be seen on the bottom of the new pots. The plants need 400ml of water a day. In contrast to the last week with 600ml, this seems quite a lot. However, the plants have also gained some mass.
Day 40: When I checked the plants today, they were completely dry again. Accordingly, I simply looked under the pot. Due to the roots sticking out of the pot, I put the plants in their final 18l textile pots.
The plants became 4 times this week 400ml of water with 0,6g/l Hybrid Powderfeeding by Greenhousefeeding.
Hello everybody after having been on vacation for a week. I was finally able to take care of my little plants again. All of them made a good jump in the air. A plant (4) worries me a little. She is far from her sisters.
Day 45: Today I removed a few leaves from plants 1 and 2 for the first time. So the light can shine through to the lower shoots again and the plant grows beautifully evenly.
Day 48: Last day on week 7 I defoliate the other plants.
New week new leaves. The plants have continuous growth. Even stragglers 3 and 4 build up biological mass. They are lagging behind the others a bit but I think it will even out over the next few weeks. On day 51 you can see very well how my supporters get an overview. Every time I open the tent she jumps in. I jacked up plant 3 a bit to get it closer to the lamps. It is currently 12cm behind.
Day 56: I think the straggler has caught up and is growing. It will not catch up with the others but will still be strong.
In the short video you can see that the plant 4 is not so far behind. Otherwise the ladies are all beautifully growing. The lush green leaves testify to healthy growth.
Day 58: Main-lining for plant 4 and a lil bit of defoliation.
Day 59: After thinking for a long time how I can enable all plants to use the same distance to the lamp. I decided to use a scrog-net. Then attached this in my tent and pulled it down almost to the topping point. I carefully tied the shoots under the net. So the light can shine through to the ground again and reach all shoots to give them the energy they need to grow. I think in one or two weeks I will switch the plants to bloom.
Day 63: The last day of the ninth week shows a beautiful green sea. All of them have a rich green color without any signs of deficiency or signs of over-fertilization. Plant 4 continues to grow, I think she like the main lining.
This week will be the last of the 18 hours of light. When the little ones have settled in on the increased light intensity. If the cycle is changed to 12/12 and then the wattage of the lamp is turned to its maximum of 300 watts. Gradually, of course. More on that later. I hope they will show their gender during the week that the bloom can be initiated.
Day 67: It is time for the first flowering phase. Plant 1 shows the first characteristics of the flower or rather it becomes sexually mature. If the others follow suit this week, it is the last week of growth. Instead of cutting out the big leaves, I spread them out under the net. In this way, the light also reaches the lower shoots without stressing the plants during sexual maturity. We don't want to provoke misfortune.
Day 70: 10 weeks of Vegetation. I think it's time for Bloom.
Today i flip the light. 12/12 for the bloom.
The bright appearance of the leaves and the slightly reddened stems indicate a nutrient deficit. In this case I would say nitrogen. But I have exaggerated a bit with my fertilizer use. Accordingly, I flushed the plants today. The measured pH was 4.8. I think I slightly salted the floor. Let's see if they recover.
Day 73: On the detail photo you can see very well how the stem turns slightly reddish and the stems on the leaves as well.
Day 74: The plants look better than a few days ago. They are now growing visibly from day to day. Timely flushing saved a lot, I hope.
Day 77: Last day of the first week of flower. It was a strange week. But they still grow.
At the beginning of the second week of flowering, the plants stretched about 10 cm. Today I watered again with a light fertilizer solution. Not that after the flush there are no more nutrients in the earth. I have also increased the wattage of the lamp to its maximum. So that the maximum energy is used over the rest of the flowering period.
Last day of week 2 flowering. The new stems hold the purple paint. I mixed 0.4g of the hybrids powder per liter water and watered the plants with 2l each.
Day 85: The plants 3&4 on the left side won't Bloom.
Day 87: Plant 1&2 have already formed very beautiful flowers. The plants 3&4 are in the early stages of flowering. I don't know why they're later then her sisters. But they'are all still beautiful. The watering is every third day about 2 liters each plant. Once time this week with fertilizer.
Day 91: By stretching the little plant has almost caught up with the others. Let's see how the four will develop over the next few weeks. Grow on!
Today i mixed 5l of the fertilizer solution. The plant 1&2 became 2l each. Plant 3&4 got 500ml of the mix and 1.5l pure water. That's might be enough for this week.
At day 93 i defoliate the plants a little bit.
Day 98: I feed the right side today again with the fertilizer solution. They appear somewhat bright to me. The reddening of the stems has also started again with the new leaves. After the flush they became not much fertilizer so i think they need some. Hope it's the right decision. The left side recieves tomorrow their solution. They are still a lil bit wet today.
With my first grow, I had a severe lack of nutrients in all plants in the fifth week of flowering. This was triggered by an incorrect ph value. This time I prevented the whole thing by flushing early. Now it is easier to add the nutrients that are really missing. The pH value in the medium is in the range from 5.8 to 6.5.
At day 103 i see that ALL plants got hermaphrodite...
Because of that i decided to bring this grow to an end. I hope all the best for the other competition members. My chance f*cked herself.
I will try a second time to grow the Bubba Slush. Hope than the plants won't hermaphrodite. It was a bad feeling to cut of all plants. But i think i've learned something about this Strain. Let's try again in a few months.
