Dutch Passion Hollands hope 22nd April 2020 Well the two little seedlings have been up in my greenhouse for about a week now and both seem to be doing ok. I'm chasing a good male plant to pollinate the "Cheese" plant I have next to them and also potentially the CBD strain I have growing at the mment 😏 We'll see what happens. Gave them their first feed today of some Professors nutrients Go Green Cheers for stopping by 👍

Greenhouse Winter Grow #2 Dutch Passion Seeds Hollands Hope REG 29th April 2020 Last day of April tomorrow so getting very close to Winter now . We've already had one overnight minimum of 6 degrees and because I'm lazy and not really wanting to get out of bed at dawn (Except for Anzac day) I am unable to ascertain how low the temps get down to inside the greenhouse. But I have tested thruout the days and it looks to be on average about 6-7 degrees warmer inside the greenhouse than directly outside. This means that it's still going too get a bit too cold in there each night for my liking. Ive already started a couple of projects to try to get some extra warmth in there, one of which is the use of a Black 200L drum full of water inside the greenhouse and I am in the process of procurring a roll of insulation plastic for the inside of the greenhouse. It's probably wishful thinking but if I can get the temp to stay at or above 15 I may stand a chance of getting them to grow 😏 Anyway back to the two Hollands Hope seedlings and the mystery seedling that popped up 😎 I still haven't got around to moving the 2nd little hollands hope plant into it's own pot yet but will definately need to soon because another little plants popped up 😳 I have a vague memory of maybe it was another HLxPW seed that I put in as a germination test and forgot about , but cannot be certain. oh the joys of a short term memory 😆😂 what was I saying again?? oh yeh Cheers for stopping by 👍

Winter Greenhouse grow #2 Dutch Passion seeds Hollands Hope 6th May 2020 Well that was a turbulant week of weather for these two poor liitle ladies and from the look of the sky , they are in for more. Last night we had a severe storm here with wind gusts at or above 100kmh an hour and heavy rain of about 45mm in the rain guage this morning. The temp is currently 8 degrees outside at 12 noon and the minimum was 2 @ 630 am this morning. I was half expecting to see the greenhouse had been smashed to pieces but luckily it seems to have survived so far relatively unscathed, apart from the odd rip in the roof that is letting in water from the rain. Both plants got an absolute drenching and you can see by the plant 1's droopiness that they are not liking it . The only thing I could do was move them to another part of the greenhouse that didn't seem to be leaking and when the weather settles down I will line the inside of the greenhouse with new plastic . This will be a grow that I will need to plan one week at a time as anything could happen the way our weathers been here Thanks for stopping by 👍

Greenhouse Winter Grow #2 Dutch Passion Hollands Hope 13th May 2020 This really is a remarkable little plant , You see I forgot to put her away lastnight and she was left out in the open whilst the overnight temps dropped down to 6 degrees 😱. I was half expecting to see that she had suffered from the cold but when I went to check and take these pics I was very pleasently surprised to see that she was perfectly fine and in fact looking very green and healthy. 💪💪 I still haven't needed to feed or water since they had their drenching from last weeks storm. So obviously the soil is providing anything she is requiring at the moment. On a side note the other little plant didn't make it , It looked really drowned from the storm so I pulled it up several days ago. Thankyou for stopping by see you next week 👍

Greenhouse Winter Grow #2 Dutch Passion Hollands Hope 20th May 2020 Hi Everyone ✋ Still growing very slowly , but considering the cold weather we are experiencing I'm just happy it's still growing at all 😉 The new nodes are coming along nicely from where I topped her and I still haven't fed her anything but water with a little seaweed solution mixed in. This is a good thing as it shows me that this variety does not require heavy feeding to remain Healthy. Now I'm just waiting to see whether i get a female or a male to breed with , Either way I'll do something with it as I enjoy learning new things. Thats about it for this week so take care everybody and i'll see you next week 👍

Hollands Hope Dutch Passion seeds Hollands Hope Reg 27th May 2020 Well as you can see in the pics , it got a little bit windy in Western Australia Sunday Night. A remnant cyclone moved across most of the state and did quite a bit of damage in some areas. Luckily all I suffered was a blown apart greenhouse and a lot of leaves from neighbouring trees. I've currently squeezed the Plant into my already crowded small grow tent , by removing the peppermint which can still grow regardless of the cold. It obviously cannot stay in the tent for too long as I'll need the room for when I flip the other plants in tent to 12/12 in a few weeks time. Also there is a chance that it's a Male and I certainly don't want it pollinating everything in the tent. So my plan is to let it stay in there but monitor daily for signs of preflowers. Whilst in there I'll take the oppurtunity to give it a good drying out then a refeeding with some GHS Powdered bloom formula. That is all I have to report on this week , Thanks for stopping by. 👍

Winter grow attempt Dutch Passion seeds Hollands Hope 3rd June 2020 Hi all , well this plant lasted only 2 days inside the tent before I thought I saw the beginnings of male parts developing , so in a moment of panic I banished it back outside into the cold. I may have been a bit too quick to judge it bcoz after examining the nodes with a magnifier I couldn't ascertain what sex it is yet. However apart from the slow growth, the cold doesn't seem to be harming her at all so I will leave her out from now until the end. It's an extremely undemanding plant as far as watering and feeding goes as I have not done either for over a week now. Checked ph with the blulab probe and it's steady at 6.5 which is spot on . Thats it for this weeks update , Thankyou for stopping by 👍 #Blacklivesmatter

Winter Grow Attempt Hollands Hope Dutch Passion seeds Hollands Hope 16th June 2020 Finally somethings happening ..... It's a Girl 😁 Ive spotted the very first of her preflowers starting to appear. This is gonna be a very long grow if it continues at this slow rate of growth but shit happens 😀 I have a Bio dynamic "TEA" Bubbling away for all of my Gardens and I will dilute some to feed this young lady as soon as it is ready for use. Nothing much else to report on this week so I'll leave it at that. Thankyou for stopping by 👍 *****EDIT Sorry about the audio on the Video the Air pump is very Noisey ******

Winter grow Dutch Passion Hollands Hope 23rd June 2020 Because of the recent removal of three plants I was growing , I was able to bring this one inside the grow tent 😀 I gave the pot a thorough wipe over to remove any possible contamination and applied a heap of Diatomaceous earth to the surface of the soil to repel any bugs before moving her in. It's been inside for a few days nowand she looks quite happy in her new environment. Thanks for stopping by 👍

Winter Grow Holland Hope Dutch passion seeds Hollands Hope 15th July 2020 Welcome back The stretch is over ( I hope lol ) The buds on this one are developing in cluster like form with plenty of potential for decent yield. However their is hardly any noticeable smell to her at all. Which is a little disapointing because I personally prefer plants that have plenty of Dankness to them. Not to worry tho as It may end up being a good end smoke , we'll see. Thats about it for this week cheers for stopping by 👍

Winter Grow Hollands Hope Dutch Passion seeds Holland Hope 22nd July 2020 Well this is turning out to be better than I had hoped 😀 She is stacking up just like a sativa should and is starting to develop a Pine like smell which is quite nice on the nose 😀 It's a Very fresh smell if you know what I mean. She is still Drinking up whatever I can give her and despite not feeding her anything with added nitrogen she is still a very healthy looking shade of dark green. That's about it for this week Thankyou for stopping by 👍

Winter Grow Hollands Hope Dutch Passion Seeds Hollands Hope 29th July 2020 Well that's 7 weeks of flowering done but I get the feeling she has a few more left in her yet. 😎 If I was to grow this one outdoors as she was bred for I reckon it could be a one pound plant 💪 but even with the limited veg time Ive given this plant I still think she's gonna give a decent yield. That's about it for this week I have cut back on the nutes and will just let her cruise..... Cheers for stopping by 👍

Wonter Grow Hollands Hope Dutch Passion seeds Hollands Hope 5th August 2020 Well that is 8 weeks of flowering finished and she still doesn't look anywhere near ready. Winter Grow Hollands Hope Dutch Passion seeds Holland Hope 12th August 2020 After 9 weeks of flowering this girl is finally starting to look closer to being ready. 😎 The pistils are beginning to change colour as are the trichomes. However I still think she can go atleast another week before I think about the chop. I stopped adding nutrients last week and have been only giving her some Terpene gold . For something that is listed as Indica dominant this Hollands Hope sure has some sativa characteristics about her Anyway that is all for this week . Cheers for stopping by 👍

Winter Grow Hollands Hope Dutch Passion seeds Hollands Hope 19th August 2020 Well here we are after 10 weeks of Flowering 😀 I must say that for a supposedly Indica dominant variety , Mine certainly threw back to some Sativa looking genetics I even got some foxtailing at the end. 👌 I say the End because I chopped her down to dry this Afternoon after taking a look at the trichomes I was happy to make the call to Harvest her. I couldn't see any Clear ones and only just the odd Amber one with the majority being very Clouded and swollen. Now that's all hung up to dry the next update will be the Harvest one Cheers for stopping by 👍

Winter Grow Hollands Hope Dutch Passion seeds Hollands Hope 29th August 2020 Well That's it Folks , this one is in the curing jars 👍 It was a bit of a rough ride for this plant considering it Survived winter Temps and Storms before being brought into the Indooe environment. Super hardy strain and highly reccomended to growers living in Bad weather climates. 💪 The Plant ended up looking absolutely nothing like any of the hollands hope grows I could find on then Net so I'm guessing it thru back to some Sativa dominant genetics passed on from one of the parent plants. Sorry to those who think the buds look shit but it is what it is and the Younger generation need to realise that "Good Weed" does not need to be dripping with visible trichomes and Pretty colours. Some of the best Weed you will EVER smoke is the pure Sativas that actually look kinda Shit and scraggly but when smoked for the first time You will surely Get what it is I'm trying to say regarding the old school varieties. Anyway I was super happy with how this one turned out considering it was a spur of the moment grow that ended up filling a few more jars of good smoko 👌 Before I sign off I'd like to thank you all for taking the time to read my weekly updates etc it means a lot to me Thanks so much for stopping by 👍
