So I seperated the diaries. Gonna add this small info on all. I had 300W Viparspectras and now I got 600W. Gonna start with CFLs then 600W and late flowering 600+300W.
Previous grow is yet to be harvested. She is taking it really slow. Until I harvest her the conditions in the tent are set for her. New grows are in the corner of the tent but still in coverage area of LEDs with 70cm distance. Covered with a dome and sprayed regulary to keep rH high. Soil is prewatered with 50ppm spring water.
In all the strains I ordered, OG Kush is my fav. So I planted her in 9L pot ( more seems overkill on autos). And the rest is in 6L-3L pots because I want to keep them small. My rule was 1 plant at a time because some reasons. I broke my rule but I didnt want to completely break it so thats how I comfort myself.
Update 28.12: og seed did not germinate so I put another seed in paper towel which is germinated the next day. At the same time I planted one of the freebies, auto critical +2.0 from dinafem seeds. I may or may not add her to the diary aswell. We will see.
Update 02.01: All good. A little streching. Done LST, bended her towards the holes I cut before planting. Older sister is insisting on going slow. So they will stay as secondary plants in the tent a little while more
Watered with tap water (300-350ppm) a little during this week. Applied only a small LST , she is not tall enough to bend vertical yet. I am planning this one to be complete horizontal grow.
Everything is good so far. Shaping nicely. She is a bit small than I expected at this stage, but I guess she will explode growth next week *fingersfcrossed*.
1ml biobizz into tap water in total of 400ppm. Tap water alone is around 300-350 so not much coming from the fertilizer
She is a big girl now. Started to smell a little. Early flowers forming. A lot of lst is done this week. Twice a day I check and reposition the wires as she grows really fast. In the tent you can see how bigger she is than the other two. She has the biggest pot tho. I may be giving low nutes but better than over nuting. Just want to be safe.
With added 300W the day temps goes up to 30.5C. My exhaust fan is too small to take all the heat out. Will replace it next month but for now, I keep the window slightly open and let the tent take cold air in. Which stables the temps to 28C inside the tent.
Another small issue, which happened to all grows, I watered them couples times from the wrong bottle last week with pH over 7.5. Thats why ( I guess ) they couldnt get all the nutes and some leaves turned yellowish. I looked it up seems like lack of some minerals. Not sure, might be something else but this seems logical explanation since I gave them wrong PH over a week. Anyway, as a solution I flushed (not completely but slightly) to get the right pH level again. Flushed in regular watering day and gonna feed on regular feeding day again. So the schedule didnt change. Also I read somewhere in the forums that some people flush in transmission phase too. So I thought it wouldnt be much problem, also as said, I didnt fully flushed. Just lets say, %30 of the water came out from drainage holes.
Keeping the tent open for lower temps. Since there is not much of smell its a decent solution. But gotto get that exhaust fan asap. Cleaned some dead leaves on the bottom and rearranged bud placement. Very flexible long branches she has. Sorry for low light qualities in the pictures
Everything is slowly going better now. She loved calmag in her solution. She became very wide and established good canopy. Out of the tent I get the chance to smell her flavour alone and its really nice and spicy. Although the smell is not very dense yet it covered the whole room in couple minutes when I got her out of the tent. This was a calming week as I got their supplement. See you next week!
Looking good! Night be a little Cal/Mag/Zinc deficiency. If you're not supplementing these heavy minerals with your BioBizz Nutes, your Girls will be hungry for them. Keep the good work coming!!!
@HerbalAbuser, Oiy! That's loaded due to the plethora of options out there! I trust BioBizz and BioBizz trusts West Coast Horticultures Chelated Calcium and Magnesium supplements which also have enough Zinc too, So that's what I'd recommend. But I'm a cheap ass and just go with "Expert Gardeners Tomato and Vegetable 12-10-5 time-released pellets" that you can get for under $10 at Wal-Mart. The time-released pellets are nice cause you can feed 2 tablespoons at week 2-3 and then your good again until 1st week of flower where you do another 2 tablespoons. You don't need much because BioBizz promotes such a healthy bacterium in your growing medium that a ton gets activated for availability to your Girls!
I have just started a OG Kush off and plan to lst early like yours for a horozantal grow so will be following closely, thanks, happy growing and good luck
Looking great to start! Love that you're using BioBizz Nutrients!! I run with them on all my grows and my Girls absolutely love it! The only thing I add besides BioBizz's normal schedule of nutes is 2 tablespoons of Expert Gardener Time-Released 12-10-5 w/ Zinc fertilizer at Week 3 and then again in 1st Week of Flower. Great work getting these Ladies Going, and Happy Growing 👍
