Had a yellowing issue where all the older leaves drained in a day so she’s had plenty of feed , it’s stopped but not getting any better. Removed some deadish fan leave and she’s growing nicely and flowers growing rapidly growing. Amazing smell of black currant when I took off the fan leaves, beautiful!
@Zannabis7 Cheers pal, good luck with yours too pal. Already lightening up, was hoping the soil would provide at least 4 weeks nutes but she definately needs some grow nutes next feed.
@eightleggeddj, What are you growing in? Did you start in a hot soil? I have never had a plant make it to 4 weeks without nutes. Anyhow, she looks great.
Cheers buddy, they are getting plenty of love, conditions are nailed on, established a wet/dry cycle and shortly going to improve the grow room adding a drainage shelf and drip trays so I don’t have to disturb them by moving to water. I learned a lot of things for my first grow so I’m trying to minimise stress as much as possible. Partly the reason I was a bit unsure as to whether to top them.
Cheers buddy, just had a look at what you’ve got on the boil 😁 looking good, I’m definately looking at growing more Fastbuds if they carry on like this!
@eightleggeddj, Looking great! One thing for you: If you want Calcium to your Ladies best, You'll want to go with Calcium Carbonate instead of Calcium Oxide. Your plants have a very hard time absorbing the CaO thats in Magne-Cal +. BioBizz recommends West Coast Horticulture's Chelated Calcium and Magnesium supplements: http://westcoasthorticulture.com/fertilizers/ Or a cheaper option is Expert Gardener's Tomato and Vegetable 12-10-5 which is time released Cal/Mag + Nitrogen + Zinc and it works well with BioBizz nutes too!!
@eightleggeddj, I always steal a Bud prematurely to test out! Sometimes I feel bad taking it before it's ripened but I cannot seem to help myself from wanted to get a glimpse of Her taste!!
Looking great!! I ran into soil lock out during late flower on all the grows I started with Plagron Light-Mix, But in there defense I was not monitoring PH back then. I now utilize a cheap 3way meter from Amazon that monitors light, Moisture and PH in soil. This thing is not super accurate, but it is close enough and is reading from the root-core. I run organic nutes so PHing the growing medium is important, and this guy will get me close enough to avoid problems!!

@eightleggeddj, If you're running organic nutes, using a biotic supplement like Great White from "Plant Success" to develop a healthy bacterium in your grow medium (if the organics you're using dont already have them) will work to balance your PH naturally. I mix my organic feedings without really worrying about PH and then keep an eye on the PH in root-core to let me know if it becomes a problem. I use Advanced Nutrient Up and Down if soil gets out of whack to adjust feedings and balance it out. Haven't had to worry about that in a while though, because BioBizz nutes are great for healthy bacterium!
@BudKingsGrow, see now that is some great info you just gave me, cheers pal. Everywhere I go I hear you don’t need to ph in soil but then I found out this soil goes very low in flower hence the issues.
I’m trying to be as organic as possible, I was using bio silicon to up the ph based on some advice I read when I found out about the soil issues. What do you use for adjusting ph? I was considering Advanced Nutrients Sensi PH Perfect nutes going forward to try and minimise problems.
Looking very good this week! Be sure to give your Ladies love every day! May sound dramatic, but the more time you spend with your Girls, the better you will know them and spot problems fast 😀 Keep up the good work!
