The heatwave in my area is finally breaking. Luckily the area she is in is naturally cooler than the other areas of my house. The other tent has been a sad situation...
I did finally, after over a month, add some flowering top dressing from Dr. Earth to her a few days ago. I am thinking this is probably all she is going to need up to finish. We will see as she progresses. I will be adding Recharge, probably in the next watering. Recharge isn't fertilizer though, it is a microbe and spore inoculant with a little kelp and powdered molasses to feed the microbes.
It is becoming increasingly obvious that this plant (probably because of the SCROG technique) is going to need a selective harvest once those buds do decide to get ripe. There are so many lower bud sites closer to the screen being shaded. It is going to look strange in the diary though, as the flowering will be stretching very far out as I let the lowers develop. Ed Rosenthal said in one of his books, "No flower before it's time." This plant is begging for me to heed that advice.
Speaking of flowers, they have decided to just chill out this week.
More white hairs of course, but no trichomes or even bulking has been noticed. Some of them seem to have little peach fuzz looking activity, but these are going to be needing much longer before I break the magnifier out to see how they are haha!
The older fan leaves have developed a clawing habit that has been concerning me. The flowers look fine and the soil hasn't seen nitrogen for a VERY long time now. I asked some people with way more knowledge than me and I was told to apply LITFA since the rest of the plant looks totally healty. What is this magical LITFA nutrient? It stands for Leave It The Fu*& Alone LOL There was also some mentions that I should add some perlite to the soil in the future, becasue the soil may be compacting some. I will certainly be doing that. They also mentioned that it could just be the strain or pheno. Maybe Spliff can chime in if they see this.
See you all next week!
Good idea man , I'm struggling with a dehumidifier 😅 it's bringing the moist levels down but the temps up 😬the bucket with salt sounds like it could work🤙🏼
@@HiddenColorado, Ha! Yes, I don’t start my diaries until the seeds are up and running.
After they are off the runway, I start. You are correct, that probably was around day 10 ;-). Don’t want hopes up and then a failed seedling. Been there too many times lol
And yes, full diary is a must!!!
