First cycle - 3 blue widow 2 royal medic

Plants are growing pretty good except for one from "Royal Medic" that had a problem during seedling and it took a lot of time to get rid of the seed's skin (I do not know the exact name sorry) and I helped to remove it very gently but now it seems that is a little bit behind from the others. There are only some spots on 2 of the Blue Widow that is greener, I checked and there are no aphids so (tomorrow I will buy the ph tester and see if something is going wrong) and get some ingredients to adjust it. Do you have an easy one for that to suggest? Let me know. Thanks.

This week I did LST + FIM "pruning" method to allow the plants to grow larger and have more main branches. I need to tie some leaves to let the light penetrate better, I will do it soon. Everything else is going very good. Let's gooooo. Self-production always win.

Growing phase is going very good, some of them are better than others with more branches better developed. I think that next week or after that I will set the light for blooming phase and start 12/12 hours.

This is the 6th week and the plants are growing as expected, I did a lot of branch pulling trying to keep the canopy even to maximize my HPS output on every plant. The next Wednesday I switch lamp, I will use a warmer one, and light/dark hour schedule to 12/12. The smell is increasing but I received an air puller and I'm going to modify my settings to minimize the smell and close all the holes (because I'm not gonna need any more passive ventilation), I have in and out air extractor with the same cubic meter air volume. Here we are, the blooming phase has begun :) I've tried some defoliation but only one time, I removed some fan leaves starting from the bottom as suggested from some guys that answered my question. Thanks, fellas I think I'm gonna like the art of defoliating, I find int very interesting. I've also changed the bulb and I'm currently using the Philips one and it has got a warmer temperature of colour. Let's see in a week how the babies will react with this changing.

I defoliated a bit more as you can see in the picture, that was the 2nd time. The plants are starting to show little signs of buds, they're growing very good and I hope that I will have some beautiful tops. Happy growing boys.

The blooming phase is going good, I bought Bio Boost from BioCanna to maximize production (hope is gonna work as it should). I removed really few little branches that were at the bottom and they were not developing enough. Next Thursday I will defoliate some other fan leaves and some that are covering my beautiful flowers. The plants are pretty stable except for one that is showing some strange colour variation (yellowish) because, I think, it's too bushy. Happy growing fellas :)

So this week I defoliated a bit more, now you can clearly see that they look better and there's more light going through especially in the middle of each plant. I had a little deficiency of K with one plant of Blue widow but I started to give the right amount of BioFlores after the transition from Veg. phase. The Blue widow ones are apparently going faster than Royal medic, (Royal medic plants are in the front on the sides, only 2 out of 5 plants). Overall I experiencing the variations' genes of each seed and I can clearly see that some plants go well than others and the importance of a "Mother plant" for consistency but unfortunately I cannot afford, right now, another grow room for this scope. This week was pretty stable with no major changes. The plants have stopped growing in height and they're developing more and more buds and trichomes. I only have one issue about leaves yellowing maybe there's a low humidity ratio, but I'm not sure because I do not have a measurer for that. Apart from that, I set the fan ventilator to maximum speed to increase stalks' width. I'm really curious how is gonna be in the next weeks the sight when you open the grow box and see (hopefully) bigger and healthier buds :)

Starting from this week I will only use BioBOOST additive because I think that I could have an over K amount in my soil. I defoliated just a little tiny bit to expose even more the buds to the light. The resin is starting to increase considerably and the smell is following with berry and citrus notes gnam gnam 😵 I did not know that Sativa strain has less compact buds through the stalks so I was a little bit worried about it but I think is fine. Waiting for harvest day, two Blue Widow are a little bit ahead, their trichomes are starting to turn opaque, the other still need at least from 1 to 2 weeks. The buds are not growing so much anymore and the smell has increased a lot, it's very dense now. I'm only feeding them with BioBOOST and probably next week I will give only water. I was a little bit late with the update, so the plants tomorrow will enter the 15th week. I'm just giving plain water, tying some branches that are falling down too much due to buds' weight. I didn't expect the buds to get this weight. They, from the past 2 weeks, didn't grow that much but they are gaining, apparently, heaviness. The smell is kind of being less strong and dense and more flowery and pleasant. I'm checking every day the trichomes and the Blue Widow is a little bit ahead than Royal Medic with mostly opaque trichomes but I want to have a little percentage of amber as well so I think in a week I should harvest the beauties. 😎 I'm also giving less water than I should, to be ready for the 72 hours darkness and to have them a bit more dry already in the vases. I'm so happy that this cycle is going to an end and I'm really curious about the final yield. 🙏 Happy growing fellas! 💪

Well, there's not much to say, I was only waiting for the trichomes to ripe, and I finally got a good percentage of opaque compared to the transparent ones with almost 0 amberish also because all of them are mainly Sativa. Yesterday I started the 72 hours of complete darkness so Saturday morning I'm going to harvest the babies and hang them for the first drying process. 😊 I'm really curious about the final yield I hope is gonna be enough for me and my flatmates. 😋 Keep growing fellas! 💪
