Zkittlezs

Nice start so far. Germed in two days. Got tall so buried her in a 5 gal. pot. Don’t know why all my seedlings have been stem stretching so much but happened last grow and they came out nice. I’ll deal. Never tried this strain before but seems popular. Plus it’s Indica dom. Like the other strains in this grow. 🙏 wish me luck this is the vulnerable stage. 🤞 till next week stay safe

I know this part of the grow can be boring to watch but this thing took off. Got 10 times it’s size. This whole grow was done with a 50/50 mix of Fox Farm ocean forest and a custom soil mix I grew my tomatoes in last summer. I have to do a slight adjustment to my watering. This mix seems to hold a lot more moisture compared to pure Fox Farm. This girl looked a little nitrogen starved, so I gave a few ounces of my base veg. ferts at 25%. I never usually start ferts. Till week 3-4. Well not much else for now.

This week was explosive. Growth,Growth and more growth. This plant I feel may become the beast of the bunch. I might have buried all my plants a little too deep. This grow I left the pots quite low so when I backfilled them their buried up to 2nd node. Those cut nodes should turn to good sized root. Don’t know if this it correct but it seems to work for me. Never grew or smoked any of the strains in this grow. I do like the plant structure of all three Indica strains. Will start LST this coming week, just as soon as they heal from topping. Will also start base ferts. at 50% mix. This grow was so aggressive that I had to cut two full nodes off When I topped and may end up topping again. I play it all pretty much by ear. Well it’s a day later and I moved the girls into new tent ( photo included ) after running tent for a few days to get a feel for controlling temps. Ect... I hope they grow because their lost in that new area

This is the vigorous strain of the bunch. Grew bushy and healthy. Wired both the girls down. Gave no nutes this week. Only watered twice this week. And not very much at that. I’m somewhat off this grow. Something just not right. Besides me wrecking a perfectly good Godfather OG there is an aspect that’s missing that I can’t nail down. Maybe it’s me but this whole grow seems to be small. Tell me if I’m wrong. Maybe just big tent making everything look little. Topping last week slowed growth. I’ll probably top the secondary branches this week if it kick into growth gear. Let me know what you think about any of my growing techniques. Feeling alittle disenchanted.

These plants grew vigorously this week. No problems. Watered whole grow only once this week. Doesn’t seem to drink much. I cut the hell out of these two. My healthy plants get a workout. I definitely tend to push them. Wired them down as permitted. May have to put the fourth light up. They are getting too large for light coverage. Till later

This strain is a beast. Grew unreal. With LST the girl measured 36” across. If I had grown natural it would be damm near two feet tall at beginning of week 6. That’s sick. What can I say. She’s healthy and happy so I again cut the hell out of them. They seem to love it? We’ll see? These bitches take my abuse with a smile. Good thing I’m in new tent these plants at the start of week six are already too large for my old grow closet. Still plenty of time to fuck up the whole grow. Lol ain’t going to happen if I can help it. Very little water or nutes. This whole grow must be running on love because it’s surely not food and drink.

Well this is the most vigorous strain of this grow. Grew healthy and green. This whole grow excluding Black Sirius is growing thin and lanky. Don’t know why they are so spindly. They are getting large. 36” across. I defoliated throughout week as I felt needed. May n Ed to go bloom next week. Depends on upcoming weeks growth.

Well earlier in week I defoliated heavily. As you can see didn’t stop her from producing a butt load of more vegetation. I won’t mass defoliate until maybe second week of true flower. I will pick a little to let light on new bud site growth. That and because I can. The 3 gal. plant is larger and more structurally built. This grow has really come around. Might just end up with a pretty pile of nugs. Feed then ferts once last week at 50% . Must have helped.

Like an aquarium, bigger tank fish grow accordingly. Seems to be the same with this grow. The more room I give them, they fill it. This is the largest plant strain in this grow. The plant symmetry of this grow is 🍒. I defoliated whole grow through out week. Went 12/12 five days a go. Grow are all showing first signs of preflower hairs. This strains plants have spread to three feet across. I think my photos for future diary updates will be taken from the comfort of their tent home. They are getting too large and could bust them up moving around. Plus hauling a watered 5 gal pot, bent over gets old. Especially at 2:00 am.Must say I’m pretty proud of the way this grow is progressing. I didn’t have the highest hope when grow first started. Thought I made a few drastic training errors that would effect plant development. Must have fucked up in the right direction again. The grow gods have looked favorably upon my humble grows.🙏🙏

I apologize for the lessened quality of this weeks photos and diary entries this week. I find this phase of development the most unattractive. Kinda stuck between veg and bloom state. This 5 gal plant is the largest of the grow . Has really nice form and cola development. This or Sirius Black could if fill out the way I hope, could definitely be a contest contender. I may just skip all contests from now on. It gets me to start comparing my plants to others and be judgmental. That’s not what growing is all about to me. These plants are way prettier and healthier then they look in photos. Should have more developed buds forming by next week and I’ll try to highlight them .

Well if you noticed, I had to get rid of the GF OG plants. They went He-She on me. Pissed at myself for not noticing sooner. Closed that diary. Now for Zkittlezs. They seem pretty healthy. Could have used some more LST but after initial work I let them do their thing. Ugly plant period. I’ve probably never defoliated a grow more then this one. Been doing daily plucking no matter what they advise. Defoliated just after the photos were taken again. By 7 weeks of flower there should be very little veg left. Smell is getting quite pronounced. Plants may look a bit droopy in photos. That’s because pots are close to dry. Watered after photos perk d right back. Believe stretch is just about done? Should start to see buds filling up, though I do expect slower growth due to all the defoliation. Just hope the GF OG didn’t pollenate the tent. We will see together. Thx for following. Be safe

Welcome. Hope your week went at least as well as mine? These Zkittlezs are coming along quite nicely. Though slowed by intense defoliation still happy for development at 4 wks bloom. The cola length is impressive. If the buds fill in like I expect this it’s going to be a heavy branched monster. I think I’ll do a feeding this wk if I feel they need it. I’ve seen some very impressive Zkittlezs on GD. Hopefully this attempt will do the strain justice. They have started to perfume the tent of oranges. Not much else till next week. Please stay safe no time to get complacent.

Very boring week. I’m just waiting for them to fatten up. I guess when you see them daily progress appears slow. I put a hoop in the middle of 5 gal pot so as to open her buds up to more light. Should have spread branches on 3 gal girl. Plant closed up tight. The large one could develop into a real looker if those long legs of hers would put some meat on them. These are the two thirstiest of the grow. May feed her more see if I can jump start production. Not my style to push nutes on them but I may till see signs of too much. Nah Fuch that, it would kill me to ruin them now. Very pungent sour citrus smell. Thanks for looking in. Till next week Grow Hard my friends.

Uneventful week. Seems to me not to be fattening up. I’ve pushed nutes to the point of slight leaf tip burn on the entire grow. Slow down could be caused by too high temp. and humidity. Dehumidifier is on but can only drop it to 65%. Still have about five weeks I think. This week they did get a nice frosty coating of Trichomes. The smell is intense. In general doing fine. The three gal. Buds are progressing best. The whole slow growth thing could and probably is in my head.’

These girls are by far the largest of my grow. Fatten Bitches Fatten! Its colas may not fill out like my WW&NL but the buds are definitely tighter and heavier the mentioned strain. It was smelling very sweet. It appears the fragrance has changed. It smells kind of sweet, skunky and pungent. I’m guessing it has another 4wks to go? Time will tell. I’ve never smoked either strain in my tent. I’m hoping I fancy their taste and effects. Hopefully there will be a noticeable change by next wks posts. 🤞

Not much to say. Just waiting now. Feed her for last time right after these photos. Going to let whole tent go quite dry. Then slow flush over two wks and see where the girls stand. Buds are rock hard and heavy already. May not be huge but I should get a few jars of prime bud. I got lucky. No plants in tent got pollenated from the hermies that popped up in the GF OG. Caught it in time. I think early in flower I fucked up the ph of a 10 gal batch H2O. Think it froze whole tent for awhile.

First, sry about photos. I broke 4 colas picking up to do flush. I hit my head on light as I was lifting her and jolted her. Broke 3 main colas which are still attached so I’ve supported those. One smaller cola snapped off so I get to taste Zkittlezs before rest of plant is ready. This is the last post before chop. I’m very happy with this grow. May not be the prettiest or greatest yield. This grow however has produced the tightest heavy buds thus far. The buds are so dense it’s like their dry already. Trichomes are mostly milky and should be ready by next wk. I’ll have better photos next wk. Did flush her last nite. Ran 5 gal water thru each pot. I think the buds are so dense because I was able to get the RH% down to 45-50% by putting the basement dehumidifier in tent. This is by far the costliest grow I’ve done. Cost of a bigger tent I can maneuver in. I’m a bit busted up and and need room to move, so as not to tweak my back. Past six months I’ve been refurbishing my house room by room from ceilings to hardwood floors. This has been taking its toll. Sry if diaries have suffered, I know I have. 😱 Lol. I want to thank Weedseedsexpress for the free beans for this grow. Don’t think I brought them to full potential but very nice. Keep planting till they plant us.

The 5 gal is being chopped right after the photos. Put her in the dark for 48hrs and let pot dry out. She’s ready. The 3 gal. plant has the tightest buds I’ve ever grown. By next post she’ll be cut and hanging. I’ve found that by working the plant produces a higher yield but find that grown more naturally produced a tighter, heavier bud. That’s my opinion. Pleasantly surprised. Buds where tight and frosty. Way more yield weight then expected. I believe this might be my heaviest yield from 2 plants? Especially since I kept crying about how the buds were not swelling. I think my watering habits of letting pot go dry before watering might have helped develop such nice tight nugs? As for taste, I have a difficult time explaining it. I don’t have vast strain taste experience. Kush, Haze, Diesel, ect. The closest taste profile that I’ve smoked that matches Zkittlezs would be a fine Strawberry Cough I’ve tried. I chopped and hung her right after last wks. post. My genome seemed to swing a little to the Sativa side. Long thin branches that were easily broken from the bud weight. I should have staked the branches for I bent or broke quite a few colas pre chop. The initial drying was very fast allowing me to jar up. Do burp a lot but it already smokes nicely. Very potent weed. I don’t always take well to Sativas, which can sometimes make me anxious. This is a hard hitting, easily grown strain that produces some fine nugs. I think you won’t be sorry if you try this strain. Update. It’s been Jared for over three wks now. USE WITH CAUTION can cause altered states! Wow
