Day 22 veg white widow has stunted growth I think because I had too much lift on it so I removed the 36 watt red spectrum light for now and raised the 300w led up a few inches everything is looking good. , both plants were topped 2 days ago
Thats the most ridiculous but ingenious thing I've seen in a while 😁 well done for thinking outside the box.
Try and keep your temps under control, your plants will thank you for it. If you don't have a fan possibly just make 2 holes, one high one low. It will serve as passive cooling if nothing else. 👍
Good job with this DIY!!!
I would use maybe some computer fans? You can even regulate your temp with those computer fan monitors. They are pretty cheap and super easy to setup.
Good luck.
Happy Growing,

yeah my bets are either on pH lockout of potassium at minimum or sheer rootbound b/c leaves at edges of pot, non-aerated pot
hard to say you should ph some water and flush the soil and check the runoff
I dont know about lightburn, I would lean towards the soil being pH locked or too high in PPMs and needs good flushing or since its a 0.5 gallon pot maybe flip it and check the root ball and if it looks healthy maybe try flushing or transplanting in a bigger pot with fresh soil. I'm a noob though so take anything I say with a grain of salt.
@billy45,I would get a exhaust tube if possible can get size to fit around fan so don't need no fancy clips . 😀1 meter should be sufficient to reduce light loss as very little will escape
Haven't seen your grow in a few weeks. Nice bud formation. She's turning out nicely.
I think she has more than a week before she is finished. Like Jon said, take a look at the trichomes. They should be mostly milky with some amber.
Also, pistils are still standing straight out. They will start to lay flat, and turn more milky/amber when ready.
The good news is, the buds will pack on a lot of weight in the next few weeks. You'll get more mass, and more mature trichomes.
Great job on your first grow! A+! Excited to see the harvest report.
My advice, get a magnifier 40x-100x at least and check the trich's, much better results. Normally you'd go by pistils dying, but they're all white so...
Here's to a happy harvest =)
Sorry about the problems with your plants. I'm a lot more cautious than you. Nutes are kinda scary. My focus right now is great soil, clean water, and a lot of light. I'll experiment with nutes once I have a process down for growing the plant from seed to harvest. As a perennial hobbyist, go slow young man.
Hey mate loving your DIY set up 😀 you can get slimline fans on Amazon that should sort your heat issue . I got a 3" in line fan wasn't enough power for a tent but for your setup should be ideal
@billy45, My 10l pots will last 3-4 days my 15l 4-5 days. Lift them don't just think the top couple inches are dry so it needs water.
When you lift it you want it to be so light you wonder how the plant is alive. The soil should be so dry it's got a gap around the sides.
Your not letting your roots dry out so they aren't taking in oxygen 👍 easy fix
Hopefully the WW is very resilient, that strain could grow on the moon.
It takes time to become a pro weed grower... if you have the time , I strongly suggest you to check this link:
www.youtube.com/playlist
It will be a good start to understand how nutrients works.
Then you can fly by your own on The Grow Boss channel to check the other vids if you really wanna beaproweedgrower 😊
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, I was reading your post and I followed your link. That guy can talk! I watched the video on nutrients. You are right, good stuff. He gave me some good information to use for my next test grow. My first micro grow is using zero nutes. I'm working out the details for the second one.
Equatorial sativas can grow a very long time, and as WW is a balanced hybrid, you never know which pheno will express herself more.
And I suggest it’s not a bad thing, other than you’re eager to have your flowers. Time allows the plant's compounds to develop longer, and I notice both flavor and psychedelic qualities are enhanced. With food, slow roasted anything tastes much better than quickly cooking it. One plant I grew took 40 weeks to finish. She didn’t yield much for taking so long, but she delivered unquestionably the most complex ‘stone’ I ever grew. World class cannabis!
Expect a 5-6 month period from seed to harvest in general. You can trim a month or more off that if everything goes perfectly, or you start with a clone.
Keep at it! Great first grow! Problems are normal. Don’t obsess. They don’t really need us.
They take a while sometimes, and especially given some light spectrums or environmental conditions -- I'm not sure what all is a factor, to be honest.
What I do know is that breeder estimates are best taken as a suggestion, and to be very liberal to make their seeds sound desirable.
