Tryingtobeaproweedgrower The fox farm soil is drying out within hours of watering and the plant hasn’t even sprouted , tried putting a tray with some water under the cup to help the humidity and water the soil but the speaker doesn’t have a very good ventilation system so it’s just circulating hot air , any suggestions?

Tryingtobeaproweedgrower So I put black paper over the cover for the speaker so I could have the fans less restricted for more airflow , also I figured I’d show a picture of the viparspectra 300watt I am using and I’m using bushdoctor wholly mackerel with blue planet liquid seaweed every other day when needed and I plan to use molasses and maybe big bloom from fox farm , is there any other nutrients I should use or not use?

Tryingtobeaproweedgrower Originally I wasn’t gonna add the red spectrum light till flowering but because the viperspectra light has such a low red output I figured it would help just adding it now , plants have been growing well the white widow is a little behind the blueberry dispute the ww showing its leafs first , I love you guys feedback so let me know if there’s anything else I should be doing

Tryingtobeaproweedgrower Day 22 veg white widow has stunted growth I think because I had too much lift on it so I removed the 36 watt red spectrum light for now and raised the 300w led up a few inches everything is looking good. , both plants were topped 2 days ago

Tryingtobeaproweedgrower I need help finding out what happened to me weed I think it may have been light burn but the light was more then 20 inches away for the top of the plants and the white widow is showing some of the same problems as the blueberry so I’m worried that plant will die within the next few days please let me know how to save this plant, was going to put plant into flowering 12/12 tomorrow stilla good idea?

Tryingtobeaproweedgrower So didn’t update last week not much to update on not sure why she’s taking so damn long to get milky trichomes and amber stigmas? Gave her an hour less of light to make the plant think it’s closer to the end of its life cycle hopefully that works and if it does i then plan on leaving the light off for 2 days before harvest maybe on Sunday . I read that leaving the light off before harvest will build more resin from using all the nuts from the roots and leaves to go into the buds. Not sure if it’s gonna work but let’s see , but really can someone please tell me why she’s taking so long to get to peak harvest?

They take a while sometimes, and especially given some light spectrums or environmental conditions -- I'm not sure what all is a factor, to be honest. What I do know is that breeder estimates are best taken as a suggestion, and to be very liberal to make their seeds sound desirable.

Equatorial sativas can grow a very long time, and as WW is a balanced hybrid, you never know which pheno will express herself more. And I suggest it’s not a bad thing, other than you’re eager to have your flowers. Time allows the plant's compounds to develop longer, and I notice both flavor and psychedelic qualities are enhanced. With food, slow roasted anything tastes much better than quickly cooking it. One plant I grew took 40 weeks to finish. She didn’t yield much for taking so long, but she delivered unquestionably the most complex ‘stone’ I ever grew. World class cannabis! Expect a 5-6 month period from seed to harvest in general. You can trim a month or more off that if everything goes perfectly, or you start with a clone. Keep at it! Great first grow! Problems are normal. Don’t obsess. They don’t really need us.

Keep going, don't give up! You have 20 weeks invested in this so far. For the sake of another week or 2 to get the plant in the perfect window I wouldn't chop her early. But take all the learning from this grow and use it to your advantage on your next one. What things would you look to change and how?
