Jonny_Phresh ----First off my light is not available on the list , its a Philips Master Green Power Elite Agro 315w LEC---- 4th grow overall, but first auto flower try. So I feel like a newbie all over again. Sorta fought conditions all week. Put my tent into a new room and had troubles stabilizing temps and humidity for the first few days. Had temps up the 90s a few times =(. Its been good the last few though. 77 in day and 67 at night. Humidity is still a little low now in the forties, but it will have to do for this grow for now haha. Put my seeds in paper towel on the 19th. The all cracked on the 22nd and i put 2 in the dirt the 23rd and the next 2 on the 24th. The pics are from the 28th. The one looks great to me, the other 2 look Ok, and the smallest runt doesnt look good to me at all. Given the poor starting conditions hopefully things will improve from here. Im a little nervous about how small they are but well wait it out for a bit yet. Just watering plain water phd to 6.5 from a spray bottle for now. Might have over watered the runt a bit. Not running my intake yet to keep humidity up a bit. Jut have fans blowing in and out. Any input will gladly be taken as like I said above, I feel like a newb with the autos. Let me know what you guys think thanks.

the only reason you cant see symptoms yet is they're so young, but the light should be like way closer , probably 20 inches or less not 30, otherwise these young ladies will end up stretching then falling over. Just a hheads up , i remember when i figured it out and it just seemed way too close but such is the truth . Hope this helps ! 🚀

They look good. What can help is some magnesium and calcium supplements 💪 and root stimulator during the first 2 weeks of veg.

Jonny_Phresh Temps and humidity much more stable this week. Steady at 75-77 and 66-68 at night. Humidity around 50%. Gave them there 1st watering from the can(not just spray bottle). Put 15 L through them. The soil was very dry as I was just spraying and I over watered the runt one so I was drying them out a bit anyways. I gave a very diluted feed of biobizz. 1.5ml of fishmix and grow in 15L, so thats VERY diluted hahah. Next water ill bump it up a bit and the next one bump it up again. The runt looks terrible but has started to grow since the watering, but its was so small it got a little of the water on it and the leaves have browned a bit, but that could also be from over watered and stunted a week. I have no hope of getting any yield off of it but I will learn from it. The other 3 look OK to me. But still being a newb to autos they seem to be growing so slow to me compared to photos. But from what I read they will start to grow fast next week. Lets hope =) Ill start LST the good 3 later this week if they get a little taller. I slowly dropped the lights a few inches all week to get it at 20 inches. As always any and all comments are appreciated . Thanks and be honest. Would rather learn than have my feeling saved haha.

Jonny_Phresh Week went OK. Growth still seems somewhat slow to me. I wonder if my 315 LEC is as good for autos as they are for photos. #1 and #4 look all good to me. #3 growth has slowed a little and has started to fade a bit the last few days. Im not sure why. The runt from the get go #2 not only has slow growth but looks like shit hahah. Hopefully this week (day 17 today) grotwh will start to speed up.

Hey guys. Id like your opinion on the 315w LEC for autos. Ive had great results with my phillips LEC with fem photos. ( 1/2 to 3/4 pound of 4 plants in 4x4 ) Just wondering if there growing slow from the LECs as most people are using LEDS with autos. What do you guys think.

I love the 315w lec..check my diary out..I’m growing some amnesia auto’s under it and they seem to love it I bought my dimlux a few weeks back and I’m so pleased by it I’m switching completely..bye bye led and hps 😂 I’m especially pleased by the dimlux 315w because you can build up the power output while your plants are growing I start @190w and increase the output to 315w while my plants are growing till they’re flipped to flower then I put it in overdrive @380w It still uses 20w less then my hps but the yield should be better

or you go away from cars and get normal strains Photoperiod :-) I much prefer to let my plant grow as I want, and also to let it flower as I want, not as the plant wants in cars itself 🙈. in addition there is less genetic tampering with the better 😍👍

Jonny_Phresh Very busy week. Plants got put on the back burner sort of this week. They did not seem to want to dry out for like 7 days for some reason. I checked everyday and they still had some dampness in the soil a few inches deep. So I didnt water for 7 days and I dont think the plants liked it. In my previous 4 grows(all photos) I never went more then 3 days without watering. Every 2-3 days. So from now on they getting watered after the 3rd day no matter what. The plants looked droopy and a little yellow all week. Thats from under watering and lack of N in my opinion. I was so scared to give to many nutrients for the autos, so I think they wernt getting enough N. They seemed to perk up a few days after watering with a little more biobizz grow. Still only half dose though. What do you guys think from the pics? Ill be putting the next week on tomorrow since i was behind with this week haha. Thanks

Jonny_Phresh Day 31. Another busy week so they didnt get much love. I did give them some more LST to get some more tops. But it seems like more of the same to me. There growing faster now, but still not fast enough in my opinion. What do you think from the pics week to week. And there also still yellowing and slightly droopy most of the time, and they just dont seem to be wanting water enough. Ive been giving them 15L for the 4 plants for each watering. That only gives me a little run off. And finally Im starting to notice some small rusty spots so Im going to add some cal-mag+ next watering. Im starting to think im going to put in some photo seeds in about 2 weeks if I dont start to see some improvement soon. I dont expect much off a yeild here but I want to learn what I can from these autos. Thanks for any input.

Jonny_Phresh Day 38. No big changes this week. Adding more bloom nuts now. They seem to be liking them. I should have started giving them the bloom and topmax 1 week earlier. I also added a small amount of cal mag as they were getting the odd spots on them. The new growth seems a better shade of green, but still some fading green for some reason.

I think there both great products. Ive also heard great things about remo. I like the fact I can easily get the whole kits with canna and remo. My local shop only has 1 part of the fox farms and it seems harder and more expensive to find the whole kits online for canada. Im sure there all good if your environment setup it right.😀

I like foxfarm, they've been my easy access go to since day 1. They're easy to mix, usually wind up my ph in the perfect zone without adding in extra ph liquids. And they have a product for everything, basic npks/extras/soil/bugs etc and I've heard it can be good to stay with one line because they have their ratios measured to complete their other products. Versus using a variety of different brands you might pop up with an excess of some nutrients because they weren't made to go together. Good luck with the choosing process. ✌️

My next grow Id like to make my soil a little better then just pro-mix with some earthworm castings i used last time. So i was thinking pro-mix to start, perlite, earthworm castings, bat gauno, blood meal, bone meal, and some manure. What do you guys think? Love any input thanks.

Check my open grow question I have created a good live soil mix recipe. Couple tweaks but it's a good base. Needs min. 60 days to break down. But reuse and only get better with time.

Pretty much all the watered down nutes are the same, same elements, npk , mix this mix that. I switched to a much more effective one part fert. Been through many products but this one truly gives great results in veg. Dont know about the one part bloom yet. Going to run it for the first time in a day or two. Floranova grow and floranova bloom, I also run massive bloom formulation with my flower nutes. That is the best bud enhancer I have ever tried. Will increase your final weight by 30% flora nova will give you the biggest bang for your buck. Last 5mtimes as long as the watered down shit. Stay away from ph perfect crap, only time i ever had problems due to ferts. Cheers
