Covid Grow w/ Glue Gelato & METH

My first indoor grow. Due to the 'rona everything was on 4-5 week lead times so bought what I could from amazon. The Kingbo 300w light I got seems ok, but after research i've ordered a Geeklight 120w COB LED as it seems like the better option. Im eagerly awaiting it from China right now. PH meter has broken :(. Water got inside and fried it. New one on its way from Amazon, needs to arrive soon as i i've got to water these plants. Have not been measuring substrate or feed temp, feel like they could be low and causing slow growth. Need to buy more measuring things I think.

Week two and ended up making a few more purchases. Still waiting for my new LED, but snagged a reverse osmosis filter and a new PH meter. My last (and only) grow was a coco/soil mix, and im learning that a coco/perlite mix is a different beast and needs things to be just right for it to flourish. Watering every 48hrs right now, will increase to multiple times a day when we flower. I'm becoming suspicious that plant 1 may not be Glue Gelato. When germinating it I also had an old Buddha Seeds Purple Kush there too. I think there may have been a switch as my two plants don't seem very similar in their growth. I'll find out for sure when they flower, but i'm keeping a close eye on it. So eager for the next 8 weeks or so. Quality of weed is so so very bad now that COVID is here, I cant wait till I can be self sustaining. 🙏 Keep my plants in your prayers tonight. Through positive thinking comes dank nugs

New grow light came this week and has turbocharged my girls. Started LST and defoliation this week, just lightly guiding the plant. Like 80% sure Plant 1 is Buddha Purple Kush now, the differences between the two plants are too much. I'd be happy if this is the case, as I've had super bad luck with these seeds and would love to bring one to flower. I'm sure i'm not too far away from finding out.

Finally getting a bit of height from both plants. Plant 1 is going into pre-flower, starting PK 13/14 and canna boost in next weeks feed. Also increasing watering to daily. All plants are happy in this tent right now.

I'm really not sure what strain plant 1 is right now, I had thought it was purple kush. It has begun to flower, and does not show any purple colour, but is also not very similar to plant 2 which is definitely Glue Gelato. Perhaps I was right in the very beginning and its just two phenotypes of the Glue Gelato strain. Also introducing my little Crystal M.E.T.H from Fastbuds, this is just a little 3l container tester plant. Also getting stress tested as she's getting the same nutrient cycle as her older sisters. Is actually holding up really well and is already showing purple pre-flowering, excited to see what comes.

Its getting hotter and more humid and have been defoliating pretty regularly. Growth is good on all the plants. I'm sure now that i've got two Glue Gelato's. The second one is definitely the bigger plant, but the buds are pretty spaced out. I'm curious which one will end up producing more. METH is like a rocket, tiny pot but catching up to the others quickly. I was worried about nute burn but no signs of it yet. Lovely lavender smell on the frosty leaves. Cant wait to smoke some. Currently 100% out of weed right now, I'm so desperate for these to finish. But I must stay patient.

Things are getting frosty finally. They all smell amazing, but the carbon filter is keeping it contained. At least two weeks for Glue Gelato 1, the others 3 weeks minimum I think. I'm absolutely desperate for something to smoke so stressed a smaller branch of GG1 to see if it actually speeds up flower finishing, i'm pretty sceptical but have my fingers crossed. It's been about 2 weeks since i've smoked anything, to say i'm looking forward to these plants is an understatement. Just made some buys from Mephisto and am planning the next run already.
