Acapulco Baby looking beautiful, first time grower, so I know I'll have a lot to improve on. This has turned out to be a really nice hobby, I never thought I'd love growing cannabis as much as I do, it genuinely is nice caring for something everyday haha. Going to post more regular updates and pictures now that I have more free time. Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to learn as much from other growers - who may have made the same mistakes I will or have made. Hoping to grow one really big plant, but my grow tent is quite small so there isn't much I can do. Peace 👊

Acapulco Overall, progress is feeling a bit slow but I know in a couple of weeks it'll grow a lot more! Increased my humidity slightly as it was quite low at around 30%. Got it up to 40%. I'm feeding it half a litre of water every 3 days. I feel like I should up the dosage of water but not quite sure yet as the soil still seems slightly wet after 3 days. Still deciding what to name the plant ;)
I managed to fix some ventilation issues I was having. I'd wake up to the lil one having an atmospheric temp of 31 degrees. Managed to get this down to 22-24 degrees celcius, but now my humidity has taken a massive hit (down to ~25% from ~40%). The noise of the set up has also slightly increased, so in order to stealth this grow I may have to make some sacrifices in some areas to stealth the set up slightly more.
I think my next grow I'm going to switch to CFLs because of the reduction in noise. If anyone has any ideas of how I can quite the noise please let me know. I've tried using sound dampers and it's slightly helped but it's blocking my IN vent.

Acapulco Growth looking good. Invested into a TDS meter. Still using IONIC coco grow with the additional 0.1-0.2 mL of rhizzatonic. Hoping the plant's growth starts booming soon.
TDS coming out at approx 600. Roots have begun coming out of the bottom of the grow bag (Day 17) Lets see how the plant reacts to it being topped!
Also currently LSTing the plant to keep it as low as I can.
Also - sorry for the bad quality photos from day 1-15. Hope day 17's photo has increased in quality.
FIMMING has looked good :)

Acapulco Hoping to switch to flowering in 14 days from today (end of week 6) :) Colours are looking nice on the stems and plant is looking okay. Excited for the next grow because I've learnt so much, so I can fix all my mistakes, I'm also excited to enter the flowering stage.
I switched to the CFLs half way through week 4 and can be seen by the change in light in the photos. The plants seem to have reacted well to this, seeing as I can leave the CFL 2-3 inches away from the plant, it's getting a lot of light.

Acapulco It's beginning to shoot off. Going to have to switch to flowering soon to control the size of the plant. Any recommendations when I should switch to flowering? The plant is very very small but bushy, so worried main stem will not be able to support weight of all branches.

Acapulco Growing wide and bushy. Going to let the plant recover from the 'accidental' HST I gave it haha. Most likely at the end of week 6 will switch to flowering, so approximately Tuesday! Bought some bloom nutes. Ready to get this thing growing and going ;)

Acapulco Preflowers forming. The fun now begins. I have root rot/white fungi growing at the bottom of the grow bag - need to make sure this doesn't move onto the plant or I'm screwed. Excited for what the future holds now.
Acapulco Continuously learning, it's all a process. Now that I've started treating the ladies better, I'm seeing better growth! Having a lot of fun :)

Acapulco Thoughts guys?! Buds are beginning to form. Excited to see the results this week. Starting to smell strong but still no filter required, only tent smells.
This strain is honestly amazing, winter is coming!!! ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

Acapulco Starting to smell stronger, plant has stayed very small but this is exactly what I was hoping for (I flowered slightly earlier and kept the plant growing small on purpose because I only have 1 metre in height... Beautiful skunky smell, hoping this puts me to bed nicely :)
08/04 update - smell is starting to develop inside the tent quite a bit. Luckily it doesn't stink up my room. Buds are developing nicely. Incredibly high THC strain, good job Barney's.

Acapulco Buds are starting to fatten up. Smell is getting uncontrollable. Smells DANK AF. Started to used my carbon filter but has increased temperatures. So, I will hotbox the room (when the lights are on) during the evening. Carbon filter in the morning when lights are off to get rid of smell.
Update: Had to flush as there was a nutrient lockout. When I flushed the water that came out was completely dark red! Hopefully the buds are okay. It's a shame this is occurring this late in the plant's life cycle
What will happen to the buds now that they've started appearing burnt due to overfeed/nute lockout? Shall I remove the leaves that have curled up and have yellow spots all over them? The veins are also very green right now...
Any damaged leaves will not recover, but you should stop seeing new leaves affected. If the damaged leaves are still mostly green, I’d leave them for now. If mostly damaged, I’d cut them.
Acapulco Enjoy the photos guys. Barney's are the best seed bank. They have done an amazing job. I have some more surprise strains for you guys. Cannot wait to put everything I have learnt into practise for next grow. This is some quality stuff right here. Super happy with the results. I cannot recommend barney's anymore than I have already, they have done a superb job breeding this beast of a strain. Perfect for height restrictions (grows small and bushy). I treated her so badly and she was able to fight through everything.
Currently flushing out the plant :) Cannot wait to harvest in approx 5-7 days :) Trichromes are looking cloudy/milky, some are still slightly clear. Expecting all to be cloudy in 5-7 days. Perfect timing ;)
You just need to lift the pot to check if its need water or not , best thing to do .
It’s better to have 10-20% of run of to avoid nutrients built up.
Now, as you grow in coco and decided to tweak your nutrients solution by giving 10-15% of recommended amount , my question is how many ppm’s does it makes in total (1.5ml/1l) ? 😊
Usually you can tweak your nootz when you know them like your pocket and know what you’re doing bro 😉
You must get an TDS meter as you grow in coco it’s highly recommended to have the control on your media .
I would suggest a good watering with around 600ppm of that IONIC Coco grow. You will know the weight when your pot is full of water, you will flush any extra salt who started to build up, and your plant will have everything she needs to make sure it’s not a deficiency.
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, dude thank you SO much, going to buy a TDS meter today and update you on what readings I get for the dosage of nutes I've been using, hopefully its been under 600 ppm. Once again - thank you!!
your'e temps are to high and your'e ladies are using more water (to keep cool ) and less nutes causing you issues, you can tell off what your'e runoff E.C / P.H measures. Make sure you get runoff when you water to avoid salt buildup and try to get your'e temps down they will thank you for it..
@Chameleon Definitely going to ensure I get run off, think the last two times I've watered, I haven't made sure I get run off. Changed my set up to now consistently have temperature of 25 C (77 F). I appreciate your help, any other suggestions please do not hesitate to drop a comment! Thanks!!!
She's looking good to me. Yellow spots are often caused by splashing water on the leaves during watering and then the droplets magnify the light and cause the spots. Best wishes on the grow.
@Zannabis7,
Ahhh i'm glad it isn't anything too bad, i have been splashing the plant by accident and i've seen a few droplets that I haven't managed to try to dry (I usually touch the droplets with my finger to dry to get the liquid onto my finger - but this ends up spreading out the liquid over the leaf). Thanks a lot Zannabis, nice grows btw :) looking amazing
I would guess pH issues from the yellowing... I'm really new but it kinda looks like the pH issues I was having at first. Once I got my water pH stabilized at 5.8 my girls were much happier.
Good luck in the coming week!

@Acapulco, I'd say you're half way there, depending on where you want them trichome wise, but 8-10 weeks seems to be enough for them to finish in most cases that I've seen
@bobo420, I think I'm going to do this toget a MONSTER yield ;) Only thing is I have 1m in vertical height, so playing around with height restrictions :( How many nodes do you usually switch to flowering at?
Thanks!
@Acapulco, you can either supercrop her or lst her to keep her lower, no problem. For me, it depends on the strain and on the space I grow, I'd say that I like to give them a bit more time than some, yet I've seen people running veg far longer.
It all depends on what are you trying to do and of course the genetics.
@bobo420, thanks bro! LSD is a trooper and has taken a lot of my silly mistakes. Other seed is going to grow beautifully from all the things I've learnt :)
