Fast Eddy Space Bucket Grow

Ronzo9 I’ll be honest, this is a crazy idea I had while locked down. Well and truly my first grow and up until a month ago I had no idea what a space bucket was! Here we are a month later with a fully functional and amazing looking space bucket with a seedling growing really well. I’ll me looking to you guys for help and advice so feel free to pitch in with anything you can recommend. I’ll update as best I can 😎

Ronzo9 Decent progress so far, but I was a little concerned that I wasn’t getting any height growth. New leaves are coming out from the centre so I’m hoping she plays catch up over the next week or so.

Ronzo9 Still struggling with humidity but the plant seems to be doing ok! It’s gotten lots more bushy and is starting to grow up the way a bit more which is promising. I dropped the root juice as of yesterday and trimmed down the nutrient dosage as I looked at the bio bizz feeding schedule for my soil (which is all in one) and I was slightly over doing it with the nutes. I’ve raised the lamp up on the bucket as I was afraid of lamp burn on the leaves and this has dropped the temperature inside the bucket to about 22 degrees. I’m always open for feedback since this is my first grow. Thanks guys

Ronzo9 Gained 2 inches in a week. She’s a bushy one that’s for sure but if she keeps going up the way then she’ll be ok. Noticed some white hairs coming out in the centre and a very weak smell so it looks like flowering is not far away. Modified the space bucket to add an extra 6 inches height to the lamp to try and promote a bit more growth. Everything looks and feels really healthy.

Ronzo9 Well what a difference a week makes! After moaning my ass off about her not growing, she’s grown from 4.5 inches to 8.5 inches all in a week. She was still mega bushy and it was causing problems getting in and out the bucket to feed so I defoliated some of the obstructing fan leaves that were shading out the bud sites. The result was almost instant with more growth in the flowering areas. She’s starting to smell nice but the weird thing is, some days it’ll smell strong and other days it’ll hardly smell at all! I notice the smell a lot more not long after watering. I love the space bucket and all, but It’s starting to get cramped and I’m finding it really touch to lift her in and out. Thought about making a larger bucket but I’ll see this one through and evaluate at the end. Super health, no real problems and so far easy to grow 👍

Ronzo9 Another solid week. Starting to see the buds fattening up and a little frosting appearing. Struggling a little getting it in and out the bucket for feeding though. I had some Nute burn so I flushed with PH water and not long after the plant got REALLY smelly. My garage was filled with weed but that’s calmed down a bit now 😎 Back on the nutes today with half the dosage. Hoping for another strong week.

Ronzo9 This week was ok. Suffered some nute burn as you can see from the pics so I’ve had to flush and start them slowly. I’ve dropped the Bio Bizz Grow all together and just been using reduced amounts of top max and bloom. Some leaves look pretty poorly and the tips are crumbling off them but I honestly don’t give a rats ass. The buds look great and are fattening by the day. It’s pretty bushy when trying to grow in a bucket so I’m honestly looking forward to getting this one harvested and done because it’s just becoming a pain in the ass to manage. Smell is great and the temperature and humidity are spot on.

Ronzo9 Decent week..... flushed the nutes and started again because it looked like I was scorching it! Smell has increased 10 fold and my garage stinks 😂 I had previously convinced my Girlfriend that the smell was actually the plant food, but now she sees me for the liar that I am. Looked under the magnifying glass today and seen milky trichomes and what looks like a couple that are half turning amber. So for that reason (and partly because I’m getting dogs abuse about the smell) I’m going to start flushing from today and move to harvest mid next week 😎

Ronzo9 This week was fairly straight forward. Buds fattened up slightly and have been watering with plain PH water in prep for harvest which will be this week 😎 Trichomes on the bud are starting to turn milky so it’s perfect time for me. I’m also getting dogs abuse about the smell 😂

Ronzo9 This Strain was real easy to grow. I grew in a bucket so I was limited with space towards the end but I still managed an ounce of dried buds. I’ve jarred them up and will cure for a few weeks. I did notice that some of the buds at the bottom were probably a bit early, but I didn’t have the patience or the time to harvest in stages. Still pleased with the outcome and can’t wait to try.
