Blue Gelato 41 / GSC

Anon1990 4.29-5.5 Put seeds in mug of water and set on a plate. Covered with plastic baggie and turned on heat pad for small periods of time over night. The 1 GSC popped, planted all 3 in pre watered pots. I turned on the intake and outgoing fans to circulate air from the room it's in. I have a heater and humidifier going in that room to get temp to around 75° in the tent. The GSC broke the soil so I am starting the 18 hour light cycle with lights out between 1 and 7 p.m. The lights are set 16" from soil at 32 watts to get lux between 5k-7k for all 3 pots.

Anon1990 5.6-5.12 Raised the watts to 75 since the 2 side ones are stretching.

Anon1990 5.13 - 5.19 I raised the lights a bit and keep watering every 2 days roughly.

Anon1990 5.20 - 5.26 I raised the lights to keep them 16" away and hung the temp and humidity sensor so it's just over the "canopy". I raised the watts to 100 to get lux reading on each plant around 20k - 25k. I topped the left and right plants.

Anon1990 5.27 - 6.2 Well, I did a poor job on the topping so I redid all 3. I raised the lights to 18" to get more coverage. I adjusted watts to 175 to get lux around 30k on canopy. I cut off a couple of the large leaves off each plant to get some light penetration. I will probably do this again in a few days.

Anon1990 6.3 - 6.9 I cut 2 large fan leaves off the bottom of each plant and did last on lower branches. I added .5 teaspoon kelp extract and roughly 20-25ml blackstrap molasses to my 5 liter jug and watered plants. I will continue this every 3-4 waterings. I topped all 6 main stems and I will probably flip to flower at the end of week 7. I broke a branch on one of the plants. I twist tied it to main stems to close "wound" and covered with tape. Here's for hoping it recovers. I lightly watered and lightly defoliated all plants. I let it get too bushy and it seems to want a full watering every 1.5 days.

Anon1990 6.10 - 6.16 Pics were taken shortly after lights on. Second day I decided to do heavy defoliation of half the larger fan leaves in center or blocking too much light. I heavily defoliated today and watered with kelp extract and molasses to hopefully make them recover quickly. I'm extending lights out one hour and starting 12-12 schedule. 8am-8pm will be lights out so when lights are on it'll be cooler ambient temperature.

Anon1990 6.17 - 6.23 I raised the watts to 270 to get between 40k-50k lux on top of canopy.

Anon1990 6.24 - 6.30 This week has been very difficult to keep humidity down so I will be defoliating the beginning of the next week.

Anon1990 7.1 - 7.7 Defoliated to expose bud sites to light and hopefully lower humidity. I haven't seen any issues arise due to higher humidity, luckily. Having issues with heat and humidity still. I lowered the temp on the ac but even with the ac(which removes moisture from air) and dehumidifier I can't get the RH down. I'm just working to keep it as low as possible to prevent mold.

Anon1990 7.8 - 7.14 I lightly defoliated all plants toward the tops.

Anon1990 7.15 - 7.21 I may start adding molasses every other watering to help feed the soil as leaves are turning yellow a little.

Anon1990 7.22 - 7.28 I'm removing yellow leaves if they easily pull off.

Anon1990 7.29 - 8.4 I am removing yellow leaves that basically come off themselves. They are forming in the center and bottom of the plant where they receive less light.

Anon1990 8.12 - 8.18 I got a stronger dehumidifier to lower the humidity. With the summer heat and the heat from the dehumidifier the temp may become a concern. The plants are starting to get amber so this may be the last week or two.

Anon1990 8.19 - 8.25 The left side plant has been getting bananas in the bud. I've been trimming them out of the bud as I see them.

Anon1990 8.26 - 9.3 Turned light off for 48 hours on the 1st and cut down each and wet trimmed and hung in tent as whole plants on the 3rd.
