short answer: if it's an actual autoflower, then "no", as the start of flowering is not induced by the light-cycle, like it is with photoperiodic plants, but simply by time.. the long answer: most ruderalis are rather short plants, have little yield and are low on thc, so most breeders only want the time-based genetics, and none of the others to take effect. To get higher yielding and more potent plants to become autoflowers they have to be bread other strains with a ruderalis, but given the way genetics work, it can take quite a few generations until the right traits are being fully developed.. but even then it's not necessary that all of the seeds will be actual autoflowers. in case your plant however did already start flowering at a longer light-schedule (i.e. 18/6), then the autoflower traits are definitely within her genes, and then she's definitely an autoflower..

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Its a northern strain of ruderalis bred into a sativa, indica or hybrid of the 2 that makes plants b autos.. Less natural daytimes mean cannabis has naturally flowered in these region well b4 other strains.. - i suppose my answer is anything is possible wen comes to cannabis genes.. Different factors will bring out hidden genes in plants sum being positive sum negative.. I wud personally cut of any new veg sites on an auto if this happens.. U cud try to root them for another round but u will b fighting to keep them in veg and wil tend to bloom b4 much veg.. Stay safe n gud luck with her.. Liking your colas.. 👍🍀

@Ginger_gnome, Thx. I love blueberry. I hear white widow is also a quick learner. I put the reveg on 14D/10L. See if it helps put it back into flower. The sugar leaves have an inch of frost super sticky. Buds look a bit confused. I can only assume the seed wasn’t an auto. Pot luck. Hope it helps.

@Bud420,fastest non autoflower strain I've done so far has been the blueberry. From seed to crop I believe was roughly 13 weeks. Ones I switched to flower I was cropping roughly 50 days later. And I'd average about 135 grams a plant. But don't forget the more plants you have in a space the higher each plant well yield. My rule of thumb is 4 plants for every 4x4 space. I broke that rule this go around because I scored some Rockstar clones and that was the first plant I ever grew and I failed hard on that one so redemption time.

@Ginger_gnome, Yeah I see what you mean. I was time crunched so I went with autos. Weird that happened but who knows what the seed bank actually sent me. Low yields aren’t going to get it. I have a gelato fem flowering now looks like it’s going to need a long flowering period. I’m on week 6 and it’s slow to mature. Has to be done by June 7. It’s going to be close. Might have to become cookies. Any suggestions on high yield fast growing strains?. I’m doing hydro and soil side by sides now. I move the soils in and out into the sun daily. Seems to work well for me. I believe you can’t beat the sun. Gives more control being able to protect at night.

Put two chopsticks through the stalk 2 days with ice around the pot and some ice for watering. Noticeable trichome development clear. Glistening in the sunlight beautiful. I can tell the difference. Now new trichomes out number cloudy and Amber. I guess I’ll postpone harvest nd monitor daily for ripening. I’ll post some pics in a few days. But I have nothing to compare it to no side x side. Just a quick noticeable difference. I shocked the hell two days of ice in a bag set in a cooler with the ice around. In the morning I flush the cooler of cold water and the left over ice in the pot. Throughout the day I squeeze the pot to help the soil breath and dry. Buds might be swelling just a bit. I need more time to tell if they are.
