NEW PLANTS ARE GROWING 💪👍
I thank Zamnesia for giving me the chance to participate to Spring Cup contest.
This time i will grow two BlueBerry Automatic strain form Zamnesia!!
Germination and Seedlings:
This grow cycle started with put the two seeds in pre watered Jiffy pallets(I place them in the grow box).
After four days the new plants sprouted from the Jiffy😍 and i prapared the soil and I let him rest in the grow box to adapt to the enviroment and facilitate the transplant in the end of the week.
The soil was made by mixing BioBizz Ligth Mix soil with Monster Bud Mix by BioNova x Zamnesia.
I put 21L of soil and all 150g of Monster Bud Mix in a bucket.
After well mixed everything I put the soil in the two pots i choose too use( before I had place a leayer of clay pebbles on the bottom of the pots), one is the 11L fibric pot by Zamesia and the second is a 9.5lt plastic pot.
During the germination stage I sprayed every day water on the Jiffy to keep the humidity and the soil moist.
The seedlings stretched a littel bit from day 4 and day 7.
The enviorment of grow box:
18h Ligths On
Temp/Umidity => 20-26 °C / 40-55%
Vegetative week 1 -->
First week is end 😁💪
I trasplanted the ladies the first day of the week.
After trasplanted I sprayed homogeneously each one of the pots with 2Lt of 6.5 pH water (with room temperature).
The healthy and beautiful one I put in the 11 Lt fibric pot of Zamnesia and the other in the 9.5 Lt plastic pot.
The plants stretch a littel bit in the first days and when they start developing the second leaves they stop stretching.
The fifth day of the week the soil dry out and i sprayed them with 1Lt of 6.5 pH water (with room temperature) for every plant.
In conclusion of this week, the Blueberry #2 look healty and she start to grow bigger.
The Blueberry #1 she look a littel bit stressed and grow a littel bit slowly compared to Blueberry #2(she probably got a little stressed with the transplant), but continues to grow without problems .
Temperature grow box---> 21-25 °C
Umidity grow box ---> 45 - 55 %
Total water of the week ---> 3 Lt/plant
Vegetative week 2 -->
A quiet week. The plants grow fast and beatifull, not too much taller but with many new leaves.
I watered them the fourth day of the week with 2 lt of 6.5 pH water when they dried out.
The environment is always stable and under control.
In conclusion, this week the two ladies became bigger and taller with a great and fast vegetative grow😁💪.
Temperature grow box---> 22-26 °C
Umidity grow box ---> 45 - 55 %
Total water of the week ---> 2 Lt/plant
Vegetative week 3 -->
A busy week. The plants started grow slowly in the first days of the week and l saw some fungus gnats on the top of the soil.
Quickly I start to stop the propagation of gnats with spraying neem oil on the top of the soil and placing a sticky trap.
These preventive measures working nice. I think probably the gnats have arrived because I forgot to turn on the dehumidifier for two days and the humidity blow up over 70%.
I waterd the plants only one time this week with 2Lt of 6.5 pH water for plant.
The last days of the week i used the LST tecnique on the two ladies with bending over the main stem.
Temperature grow box---> 22-26 °C
Umidity grow box ---> 45 - 55 %
Total water of the week ---> 2 Lt/plant
Vegetative week 4 -->
I finally cleared the fungus gnats infestation😁. There are no more gnats flying around or on the soil surface.
Unfortunately, the plants have not yet recovered from the stress. The plant in the fiber pot looks like the one that is recovering faster than the one in the plastic pot that seems to have stalled.
I hope they recover fast beacuse the branches still small and the ladies start to flowering.
