Day 11 - First time growing with a cover crop and I can already say that I love it. It really helps the soil to stay moist at all times and has a bunch of other benefits. I so far have not used any nutrients, Just mycorrhizae at day 6. Planning to top her in around 3 days once her third node is fully developed. She is very healthy and growing fast.
Day 13 - This morning I chopped back the clover cover crop and decided to top the plant abit on the early side. We shall see how well she can handle the training.
Day 18-She has recovered nicely from topping her a few days ago and is growing vigorously again. Looks like the top created 4 nodes or it's just a pair of leaves on the tip, I'm not quite sure yet. Also, I trimmed back the cover crop yesterday.
Day 21-Really growing like a weed now. Going to start lst on her branches very soon. She's got quite a unique structure, beautiful.
Hey there everyone, sorry about the recent inactivity in my diary. It has been very hot over where I'm at and the plant was not happy with that. She was stunted for a week in veg while I tried to dial in the temps. Thankfully she bounced back quite quickly once it was sorted. After another week of her finally growing again I decided to flip her over into flower. It's now been 3 weeks into flower and she is fattening up as she should despite the slight potassium deficiency that she is showing at the moment. I'm starting to get a nice citrusy/dank fragrance coming from her so I'm looking forward towards the last couple of weeks!
Also, I'll be sure to keep this diary updated from here on out✌️
I brewed a simple banana tea this week to help supply the plant with abit more potassium. No more leaves are being effected by the deficiency and she is looking strong and healthy. The smell on this plant is getting very strong now, lovely citrusy aroma.
Two weeks left till she gets chopped and hung to dry. The clover has been quite useful especially in veg, i think I'm going to keep using it. The buds are looking amazing and the smell is strong!
Had a potassium deficiency in the early parts of flower but none the less was quite a easy crop to grow. She responded very well to Lst and was always growing fast. Four weeks into the cure and the smell on this one is awesome. Definitely one of my favourites.
