I trimmed all the buds and transferred to a glass jar for curing, and the aroma in there is just exquisite. Terpenes are magic molecules really.. I confirm that the effect is just what I was looking for. Not CBD only weed but at the same time not the strongest weed you've ever smoked. Allows you to chill but become alert quickly in case it's needed. Thus no paranoia at all with this queen, that's granted! I consider my small reserve very valuable and being this my first grow I feel lucky! Thanks for following and thanks to RQS for this breeding 💚

Another new feminized cannabis strain from Royal Queen Seeds' selection of Medicinal Cannabis Seeds. Royal Highness is a cross of Respect and Dance Hall. Respect is a cross of Juanita la Lagrimosa, the high CBD strain, and Cannalope Haze, a great Sativa. This, combined with the Dance hall, a beautiful Spanish hybrid, has produced a powerful marijuana strain with an almost equal ratio of CBD and THC, meaning great medicinal potential.
Like all high CBD strains, Royal Highness is not as psychoactive as some of the higher THC strains, which can be better for medical users. The effect is a very clear, active high with very little narcotic ‘stoned’ effect. These types of strains have been used for their anti-inflammatory, anti-pain, anti-anxiety and/or anti-spasm effects.
Royal Highness is an interesting strain with an Indica structure but a more Sativa-like effect. It will grow to a height of around 80 to 110 cm, which is very manageable for most growers. The smell is a mix of haze, skunk and sweet fruits. The taste is smooth, sweet and a little bit skunky.
Royal Highness yields around 425 to 475 grams of fine medicine per plant with a flowering period of 8 to 9 weeks. Though designed for medical users, this is also a good cannabis strain for growers looking to try something different.
MY EXPERIENCE
The plant is strong and very resistant to bugs and mold. Leaves are beautiful, and perfect. I tried some sample buds to evaluate the effect and I must say that it's just right, not too high, not too stoned, just cool. I cannot report anything about flawor yet, proper drying and curing is required. I'll update soon. I think I can definitely optimize flower production beacuse I see a lot of petential in this genetic that I probably wasn't able to fully exploit. She does not like a lot of nutrients so it's better to start wil very low doses and increase slowly.

I did use nutrients only when deficiencies very showing but the plant did not need much at all. I should evaluate these products under different circumstances to be more detailed. I still check the pH before adding to the plant because if you reduce the dose it's not granted that pH is spot on.
26 Sept 2020 - Day 154 - Harvest day has come my friends, it came at day 152. I just removed the bigger fan leaves and hang my branches in my grow room. Rh is now around 40% and it's day 2 of drying. I took a sample bud and dried it in the oven just to get an idea of the overall effect and so far it's just what I was looking for.
There is still some thinking about the many things that I can learn from this grow. High temperature is definitely something I will avoid in the future, I think buds are not as dense as they coud potentially be but I will wait until they're fully dry to say. The smell is very pungent and unusual, like nothing I ever smoked (but I'm no expert), so far clorophille is still predominant anyways.
28 Sept 2020 - Day 156 (Picture) - The plant has been drying 4 days now and it's stil not ready to be trimmed and cured (small branches don't snap). Buds have shrunk a lot and although it's a little disappointing I guess it's all about the experience being this my first grow. If I were to speculate I would say it's due to two main issues: temperatures too high during flowering, and lots of sugar leaves that are now drying and leaving empy room. I would definitely choose a different strain to cultivate during summer, we had 32 to 35°C degrees average over here. Also light distance could be an issue but I had the two main tops growing much taller than the rest and there was not much I could do. Another issue is that I was away during the first two weeks of flowering so I missed the window of opportunity to remove the smaller buds from the lower part of the plant, this is definitely something I will do next time!
The smell becomes more and more amazing day by day now. Despite small yield due suboptimal growing conditions I'm fully satisfied of the final product. Time and patience did pay off.

Hi Growers! First grow here and I am concerned about new yellow spots on my lower fan leaves (one tip is dark too). Soil is Atami Kilomix, heavily fertilized. 2 days ago only one leave was affected. What can it be? Mg deficiency? N deficiency? Too less water (100ml every 3days)?

Hey man. looking at the colour of the leaves which is a really dark green and the leaves clawing down, I would immediately think of a nitrogen toxicity (WAY TOO MUCH nitrogen, not a deficiency at all !!!). I hope you haven't manually fertilized yet, if you havent it is the soil which is way too heavily fertilized (as you said).
I myself would wait it out. Just water pH'd water without nutrients and wait until the nutrients in the soil are used up. It could take a while though, depending on the amount of nutrients in your soil. If you want to be on the absolute safe side or if it gets really bad in the next days / week, you should transplant into a soil that is not or very lightly fertilized and continue watering with plain water until you see a clear change in growth and leaf colour. I dont know how heavy the soil is actually prefertilized so the decision of waiting it out or transplanting immediately is yours ;)
Just keep in mind that cannabis is such a resilient plant (I know RQS genetics, they survive a lot of stress aswell) so your plant is gonna survive. Just give it enough time to recover from the stress :)

В моём опыте такое было не однократно, когда семя не autoflower а цветёт при 18/6 👆

I'm in flowering week 6 and I notice very small bud sites on some branches. Is it recommended to remove the smallest buds sites at this stage? I was away during the first two weeks of flowering and could not lollipop properly. Thanks for your tips!!

I used the same soil for the seed, and just started noticing these spots. I guess I will watch very carefully for now. Thank you again!!
