Hello everyone. So this will be my first attempt. I was looking for a balanced strain and Royal Highness from RQS seemed just perfect to try. Also wanted something that can be smoked at parties without getting too sleepy, well COVID might have ruined those plans but still.. This is my first diary, please give me all the suggestions you think I might need!! Happy grow everyone!!😊 22 Apr 2020 - Seed was dropped in a glass of tap water (previously sitting @RT for 30min) and stored in the dark for 24h. 23 Apr 2020 - Seed was floating but when pouring a few drops of water on it it sank, So I moved it on wet cotton pads and kept in the dark for 30h. 24 Apr 2020 - A small root started sowing. I planted the seed with root facing down in ATAMI Organic Kilomix. Sprayed lots of tap water pH 6.0 (pH down with lemon juice), covered with glass dome and placed at 10cm distance from a 6500K led light 7.5W (60W equiv)= 806 LUMEM. Light Schedule 18/6 27 Apr 2020 - Seedling showed up, sprayed and placed under light with the dome. 28 Apr 2020 - DAY 1 from germination - The first set of true leaves is now visible 29 Apr 2020 - DAY 2 - Seedling is 2cm tall, sprayed more water and removed the dome to give it some air 01 May 2020 - DAY 4 (Picture) - I accidentally dropped the cup and the seedling seemed lost in the soil, I was able to find it and replant in the same cup. Poured a little water hoping it will help the roots settle down again 04 May 2020 - DAY 7 (Picture) - The new set of leaves is coming along. Fortunately the little seedling recovered. I have a supersunny windowsill so I placed the small pot in the sun for 3-4h a day over the last couple of days. Plant is 2 cm tall, no stretching at all so far, despite the relativelo low W of my led light (placed the plant very close to it though, and luxmeter detects 15.000 LUX at that distance).

06 May 2020 - Day 9 from germination (Picture) - Second week of life began for my Royal Highness, I'm curious to see how many leaves she will grow. I have a stronger LED light I could place her under but it's mostly red light and I would like to give her the blue light for a while. So far she doesn't seem to mind the very low wattage of the light I'm using but that's just because she is extremely close to it (3cm). She will soon need something stronger though. 07 May 2020 - Day 10 - I Sprayed some neem oil as preventive measure, since I have a mint plant showing little bugs flying around (sprayed that too). I left the plant in the sun for 3h, then transferred under the lamp. I will probably change the light tomorrow. So far she seems to be doing good but I don't want to stunt her growth by giving her less light than she deserves. 08-10 May 2020 - Days 11 to 13 - I had to leave her all alone. I changed the light so now she's getting energy from a 150W led grow light (50cm distance from light), will update with pictures when I can. Fingers crossed. 11 May 2020 - Day 14 from germination (Picture) - Second week is over and she doesn't seem to mind at all the new setting. I watered today and put her closer to the light (20 cm). The soil is fertilized so she should have all she needs for now. She is 4cm tall and seems to be just fine.

12 May 2020 - Day 15 (Picture). Not much to report. She's growing nicely and seems healthy. I transplanted in the 14L pot, let's see how she recovers along the week! I plan to top her as soon as she looks strong again and the 4th node is fully developed. 13 May 2020 - Day 16. Today I just watered my Royal Queen with plain tap water (pH down to 6.5 with lemon juice). She looks fine, leaves are pointing to the light so I hope I didn't stress her too much with the transplant (some root ends were stuck to the smaller pot after transplant so I was a bit concerned). I think she will have plenty of nutrients over the next month, soil is heavily fertilized (ATAMI Kilomix). I'm still figuring out the best schedule for the exhaust fan in order to give her the right levels of RH. Right now I run it for 20 min every 3h but it's connected to the WiFi so it's not totally stable. I detected peaks of RH up to 75% which are probably ok at this stage but I will need to keep an eye on it later on (hopefully). If anyone has any suggestions on this matter, feel free to give me some! 14 May 2020 - Day 17 (Pictures). I watered my plant again with very little plain tap water. She seems well but I think I should wait 1 or two more days before topping. 16 May 2020 - Day 19 from germination (Picture). I topped my plant for the first time above the third node, I removed everything else below as recommended for main-lining. When I look at the remaining plant and all the leaves removed (see picture) it looks scary but one has to experiment and hope for the best 😅 The new side branches are very very tiny so no wiring was put in place. I'll wait hoping they grow soon. Other than that I just watered with plain tap water (pH 6.5). 17 May 2020 - Day 20 (Picture) One day after main-lining I can say if I were to do this again I would either wait until the 6th node to be fully developed or go with topping only and then main-lining after a couple of days. I think the plant might recover faster when it has more leaves. New growth is there but it will take some time, I'm not in a hurry anyways. Today no water, just some neem oil on the leaves and on the soil. 18 May 2020 - Day 21 (Picture) Third week of life soon gone and my lady seems to be recovering from the topping and stuff. I plan to let her grow freely for a couple of days before bending the new branches. Can't wait to see what the next week will bring!

20 May 2020 - Day 23 (Picture) A new exciting week has started and my Royal Highness is looking good 😊 I watered two days ago and will wait until tomorrow to water her again. She's not very tall because I topped her but I think she has the potential to grow quite high being a sativa dominant. I plan to let the new side branches grow until I see a new node and then bend them down and top again. This topping schedule is harsh but hopefully I will be done in 2-3 weeks to focus mostly on the feeding needs. She only had pH 6.5 water so far, the soil is heavily fertilized and she seems to have all she needs up to this point. 21 May 2020 - Day 24 (Picture) - The new tops are growing so I decided to bend them down in order for them to get used to their permanent orientation.. We will see how it goes. I also watered a little. Fingers crossed!! 23 May 2020 Day 26 (Picture) - So yesterday night I came home and got very eager to perform my second topping right away. I know I'm probably rushing things here but I'm taking this first grow as an experiment. Before that I watered with plain water. I promise I will leave her alone for few days now :)) 24 May 2020 Day 27 - Sad story, very sad, one of my two main branches was probably damaged during LST and when I went back to look at my plant it looked nothing but dead. It was really impossible to foresee any type or recovery. So now it's a bit frustrating because the whole point of main-lining is simmetry and I lost it at the very beginning. I will take some time to figure out the best way to move forward but I'm really pissed. I haven't posted any picture of this disaster but I'm trying to learn from it. Never push to hard on branches when the are still tiny, and never do that before the night hours because it's important to check on the plant right away to prevent it from dying. I might just go for the 4 colas on the other branch, in any case I will wait for frustration to go away and for my plant to get stronger before anything else. Cheers

26 May 2020 - Day 29 from germination (Picture) - So here's my girl, with her amputated arm :)) I can' still believe that it broke and dried out so fast. Anyways trying to keep an open mind, I will let the new tops grow well and we will take it from there. Her fan leaves are truly beautiful, and they look very healthy. So far I'm glad that the soil has all the nutrient she needs, one less thing to worry about. 27-28 May 2020 - Days 30 to 31 - Watered my plant with tap water and sprayed neem oil just before sleeping time. I will leave for 2 days so hopefully she'll be independent during this time. 31 May 2020 - Day 34 from germination (Picture) - I just came back and she looks strong and healthy so far. I will add more water and neem oil tomorrow before night time. 01 June 2020 - Day 35 from germination (Picture) - Last day of week 5 of vegetation for my girl - I waterd with tap water (Ph down to 6.5 with lemon juice) and sprayed neem oil just before lights went out. I don't see any gnats but I want to be sure to get rid of the larvae so I will continue this treatment once every 3 days for the next week. I did some LST on the new branches to promote lateral growth. I have posted a picture of my failed main-lining. I will evaluate the situation on a week to week basis to decide what's the best course of action. I'm considering to use ScrOG but I'm still not sure. We'll see how it goes. Happy PRIDE Month everyone 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

02 June 2020 - Day 36 - 1st day of week 6 for my Royal Highness. Still in vegetation, I plant to keep her in vegetation for at least 8 weeks. I'm taking this first grow as a learning experience and I'm glad I started with a photoperiod strain. It gives me the confidence to experiment without worrying to much about the time it would take to catch up for mistakes I might make. No water today. The only thing to report is discoloring of one the lowest fan leaves, the other one seems healthy so my guess is that some neem oil got trapped in it the last time I sprayed it and the leave got burned from the light. I will keep an eye on it, I don't think the soil is exhausted already. I will post new updates in 2 days if nothing relevant comes up! Cheeeeeeeeers 03 June 2020 - Day 37 - Watered with 100mL tap water (pH to 6.5 with lemon juice) before bed time. 04 June 2020 - Day 38 (Picture) - I didn't touch the plant today, but I checked the precision of my pHmeter with bottled water, I used one with pH 6.2 (reading was pH 6.5) and one with pH 6.9 (reading was pH 7.2). So basically I have underestimated the acidity of my solution, it was 6.2 and not 6.5 as I thought. I don't think this could be the cause of the spot on the lower fan leave but I raised the pH of my water so that next watering, pH should be 6.8. 05 June 2020 - Day 39 (Picture)- I watered my queen today using tap water pH 6.8. I can see new yellow spots on the other lower fan leave and I'm starting to worry. Any suggestion is very welcome. For now I will just keep an eye on it. Not much I can do since she is getting all the nutrients from the soil, and this is my first grow so I don't want to make things worse. I raised the pH of my tap water, the only thing I could think is magnesium deficiency due to low pH of water. The problem was confined to one leave only in the beginning, now the other one seems affected too. My soil is heavily fertilized (ATAMI Kilomix) and the manufacturer advices to start nutrients only at flowering, Could it be some Nitrogen toxicity perhaps? 06 June 2020 - Day 40 (Picture) Today I did some LST to promote growth of the side branches. I am unsure on whether I should top the two ends or not. No water today. 07 June 2020 - Day 41 - Gave her 200mL plain tap water pH 6.8 just before lights went off. Tomorrow is the last day of week 6. I will post a picture then. Thanks for stopping by :) 08 June 2020 - Day 42 (Picture) - Last day of week 6 for my girl. The tips of the lower leaves are turning yellow, I'm still unsure on what the problem is for sure. We shall see. Peace and love you all!

Hi Growers! First grow here and I am concerned about new yellow spots on my lower fan leaves (one tip is dark too). Soil is Atami Kilomix, heavily fertilized. 2 days ago only one leave was affected. What can it be? Mg deficiency? N deficiency? Too less water (100ml every 3days)?

With the dark green color of your leaves I'm guessing your soil is running much too hot for this youngling. Hopefully she grows out of it! Happy growing!

Hey man. looking at the colour of the leaves which is a really dark green and the leaves clawing down, I would immediately think of a nitrogen toxicity (WAY TOO MUCH nitrogen, not a deficiency at all !!!). I hope you haven't manually fertilized yet, if you havent it is the soil which is way too heavily fertilized (as you said). I myself would wait it out. Just water pH'd water without nutrients and wait until the nutrients in the soil are used up. It could take a while though, depending on the amount of nutrients in your soil. If you want to be on the absolute safe side or if it gets really bad in the next days / week, you should transplant into a soil that is not or very lightly fertilized and continue watering with plain water until you see a clear change in growth and leaf colour. I dont know how heavy the soil is actually prefertilized so the decision of waiting it out or transplanting immediately is yours ;) Just keep in mind that cannabis is such a resilient plant (I know RQS genetics, they survive a lot of stress aswell) so your plant is gonna survive. Just give it enough time to recover from the stress :)

16 June 2020 - Day 50 (Picture) - First day of week 8 for my Royal Highness, I will keep her in vegetation at least until I can be absolutely sure that she has Nitrogen Toxicity from the hot soil. I have been giving her plain water only since she sprouted, I will decrease the amount of water she gets to improve the situation. I attached a picture of the worst affected leave. Right now the 4 lowest fan leaves are showing the same signs of damage, although less severe. Any comment is more than welcome on this issue! Bye all!!! 18 June 2020 - Day 52 (Picture) - My girl is ok although it's now clear that the 4 lower fan leaves will not recover. I am finally convinced that the problem is the hot soil (beginners mistake) and situation gets worse when watering more abundantly. With this in mind I will water very lightly and wait for my plant to grow and get rid of the excess Nitrogen, as this not would be good during flowering. Peace to all of you guys👆 19 June 2020 - Day 53 - Gave her 200mL tap water pH 6.8. I could tell she was desperate for a drink. I hope she doesn't get too much N fron the soil. The 4 lowest fan leaves are now gone (Picture). 21 June 2020 - Day 55 (Picture) - Today she got her second haircut. I removed some fan leaves and the smallest tops to focus the energy on the bigger ones. No water today. It's getting warmer and warmer around the mediterranean though. I don't really know the kind of temperature she likes. Does anyone here know? Thanks for stopping around guys. Bye

24 June 2020 - Day 57 (Picture). Growing slowly but constantly. Gave her 300mL water today. No yellow spots so far. Fingers crossed. 26 June 2020 😏 - Day 59 (Picture) I removed all constraints so my plant is free to expand now. She's 25 cm tall. I will water tomorrow and spray some neem oil just to prevent stuff. I noticed that the branches grow thicker when topping the main stem and then the branches growing from it, thus Main-lining makes perfect sense. It's defiitely something I will try again with a clone next time. This time I was too worried after the initial failure (week 5 for reference). 27 June 2020 - Day 60 - I gave her aroun 300mL water pH 6.5. It's getting hot in here

30 June 2020 - Day 62 (Picture) - I gave her 400ml water today. Thirsty girl. Also tied the two main branches down. There are some yellow fan leaves, I think it's because she was getting too dry. 02 July 2020 - Day 64 - She got more water, around 300mL. I guess I could switch to flowering soon :))) 06 July 2020 - Day 70 (Picture) - My girl is growing and she just finished her 10th week of flowering today. I came back home after 4 days and she was so thirsty, and droopy. Plus highest temp reached 33 degrees. I watered with 400mL water and turned on the air conditioning to cool her down. RQS describes her climate as MILD, I guess Italian summers is not the optimal time of the year to grow this beauty. Still she recovered almost immediately. I can see that her leaves are still very dark, I think I will keep her in veg another week just to ensure further Nitrogen consumption. I defoliated some of the lower fan leaves, quite unsure whether it was a good thing to do or not honestly. I guess we'll see :)))

07 July 2020 - Day 72 (Picture) - Rise and shine pretty! 08 July 2020 - Day 73 - Today I gave my lady something to drink, this should also increase humidity a little, it was around 46% and I guess she could use 10% more. Any fact about humidity and desirable ranges are welcome by the way. before lights went off I also sprayed some neem oil. I don't see any gnats around it but I have a basil plant that is struggling with them and I am trying to prevent any spread of the disease. Spreading love, peace and a nice aroma only 😎 09 July 2020 - Day 74 (Picture) - and she's looking great! I decided to slowly reduce the amount of light she's receiving (1h less light per day) to give her a smooth transition into the flowering stage. I read contrasting opinions anyways at this point I would just be annoied to switch to Bloom and still have the diary to Veg (OCD me). Exciting times ahead 😏 10 July 2020 - Day 75 - I decided to switch to 12/12 light schedule right away after reading comments from more experienced growers. Will give her 24h of dark before the switch. i read it promotes hormone release. I hope it is really so. First day of flowering tomorrow 😄🌸

11 July 2020 - Day 76 (Picture) - First day of flowering for my queen. She went through 32h darkness and you can see that the new growth is showing signs of that. I read that she will get darker very soon once the lights are back on. Will report progress on that. RQS datasheet reports that flowering should take 8-9 weeks, so there's still a long way to go. I am not using any nutrients at all. I intend to do that only when deficiencies start to show. I gave her 300mL water today. 12 July 2020 Day 77 (Picture) - Growing fast, 5 cm in 2 days. Looking great so far :)))) 13 July 2020 - Day 78 - Day 3 of flowering and she gets thristy a lot more now. And it's not related to temperature because it dropped down by 2°C. I guess she needs more fuel now. So far I gave her 300ml plain water only since the soil has provided everything else. I wonder how it's going to be when she''ll need nutrients from me. I hope I can be up to the task. Confiding in you all growers 👊 15 July 2020 - Day 80 - She got some nice water today. I'm watering every other day now, the soil is not completely dry when I do but I can see that her leaves are droopy and they go back up when I water. She gets around 150mL per day. I don't see any sign of deficiencies of any kind. Also I set up a camera to monitor temperature, humidity and water needs without opening the tent. I will leave for 10 days soon and Iit's nice to be able to tell my friend when it's time to go there and water it. I am still wondering when and if she will ever need any feeding. I was very carefull to always water just enough to prevent run off water (I guess it's not really convenient when the soill is rich of slow release stuff). Still I guess she will need something at some point. Well we shall see. Peace ☮️😎 16 July 2020 - Day 81 - Day 6 of flowering. More water for my lady. 17 July 2020 - Day 82 (Picture) - This is the last day of the first week of flowering and it seems to be going smoothly. She grew taller but not incredibly much, smell is very very weak still, and I cannot see any pistils yet,but I guess it's to be expected. She looks healthy and happy. Looking forward to the next weeks :)))

My plant is growing in a heavility fertilized soil: Atami Kilomix. Producer said to start feeding after 30 days but I've been growing her for 3 months and it doesn't seem like she's lacking something. Is this possible? I fear I won't be around when she'll need it. Thanks growers

18 July 2020 - Day 83 - More water for my girl. It's amazing how qickly she goes from sad and thirsty to vigorous and straight! 19 July 2020 - Day 84 - (Picture) - Second week of flowering started today and she's looking just perfect to me. 20 July 2020 - Day 85 - Watered with around 300mL tap water pH 6.5. Running water is usually pH 8.00 and it takes around 1.7mL fresh lemon juice per liter to reach pH 6.5. So far so good 22 July 2020 - Day 87 - Today I gave her a nice big water drink, around 700mL (very little runoff. I want to understand how long she does fine with that amount since I'm leaving for vacation soon. I'm also thinking to start with 1/4 dose bloom nutrients just to see how she reacts. Honestly I don't see any sign of deficiencies still, so far I only used just water. 25 July 2020 - Day 90 (Picture) - End of second week of flowering for my lady. I gave her some water tonight, around 250mL. I noticed some yellow leaves at the bottom of the plant, I guess it's normal but since she still has a long way to go so I will start feeding with 1/3 dose nutrients and alternate feeding with water only. Temperatures are high, but that's expected, it's the warmest time of the year and there's not much I can do other than ventilate and keep humidity low. I hope she can cope. On a positive note, the first signs of flowers are present and clearly visible so I'm excited :))))

27 July 2020 - Day 92 - Today I'm leaving for vacation so I watered with around 1L water + 1mL grow and 1mL bloom (advanced nutrients). My friend will water when she needs and I'll try to figure out the feeding schedule according to her response. Very satisfied so far :) 31 July 2020 - Day 96. Watering day for my girl (1L water pH 6.5 + 1mL grow and 1mL bloom + 1mL Bud Candy from Advanced Nutrients). She's undergoing a lot of stress due to extreme heat. Temperatures peaked to 33°C and humidity to 75%. I am out on vacation so she gets 1L water every 3-4 days (little to no runoff) and humidity tends to be higher during the first and second day after watering. Also she was in the dark for 36h. I read that 24h darkness is ok but longer could be stressful, still I had to shut everything down for safety reasons. I hope she's strong enough to hold on through this rough time. 1 Aug 2020 - Day 97 (Picture) - Last day of week 14 for my girl and from a distance I would say she's holding on. Thank you RQS for the strong genetic background 🙏

04 August 2020 - Day 100. Today just water for my queen, she took around 1.2 liter. The other note is that temperatures are still extremely high 08 August 2020 - Day 104 (picture). Last day of flowering week 4 and I am here to admire her. It's amazing to see how she changed in just two weeks. Today I have her 300ml water with advanced nutrients grow, bloom and bud candy (1mL per liter each). I'm very excited about this first journey 🤩

09 Aug 2020 - Day 105 (Picture). Day 1 of flowering week 5 and I noticed that the longest branches were unstable so I decided to give a little support and added some sticks. Hopefully this will encourage development of little bud sites due to better light penetration inside the canopy. I decided to increase the nutrient solution for this week and alternate feeding to water only every 4 days using 1.2L per watering. I will still use half the recommended dose, but I'm confident it will be enough. RQS reviews on this plant report that she needs very litle feeding and so far I totally agree. I also agree with reviews on the smell produced. So far I can hardly smell it and although its nice to be welcomed by the typical odor, I'm quite happy with the discretion of this plant in terms of smell. 10 Aug 2020 - Day 106. Feeding day for my queen (350mL). I also raised the light. More updates soon 🤓 12 Aug 2020 - Day 108. Watered with 1L water pH 6.5. No run off

16 Aug 2020. Day 112 - Day 1 of flowering week 6 and my queen requires more water. I fed her with 500mL nutrient solution and an additional 1L of water. I also removed many of the lower fan leaves that were turning yellow. I guess she needs more water and nutrients from now on. And since she should be harvested in 4 weeks these will be the last two weeks of feeding. 17 Aug 2020. Day 113 (Picture) - So far it looks like she's growing good 18 Aug 2020. Day 114 - Feeding with 500mL nutrient solution. 21 Aug 2020. Day 117 - Watered with 500mL water pH 6.5

I'm in flowering week 6 and I notice very small bud sites on some branches. Is it recommended to remove the smallest buds sites at this stage? I was away during the first two weeks of flowering and could not lollipop properly. Thanks for your tips!!

Hello. At this late in flowering you don't want to mess around with the plant too much. It looks like you have taken enough leaves off for everything to bulk up in these last few weeks. Make do with what you got. Good Luck. Chuck.

23 Aug 2020. Day 119 - First day of week 18, flowering week 7. Water only (700mL). I noticed yellowing of lower leaves and I think it's related to N toxicity so I will reduce the amount of nutrients and use only bloom and bud candy for the final stage. Cheers 🤩 25 Aug 2020. Day 121 - Watered with 700mL water pH 6.5 26 Aug 2020- Day 122 (Picture) - Day 4 of flowering week 7 and I think she could be in flower for at least 10 whole weeks. Some updated pics of the queen here 😊😍 27 & 29 Aug 2020. Day 124 & 126 - Watered with 500mL water pH 6.5

Hello growers! I'm at my first experience here and would be grateful for some feedback on harvesting time. I know I should look at trichomes but I'm not sure I'll have the right tools in time. I'm at flowering week 7 and RQS recommended flowering for 8-9 weeks. Thanks!!!

Week 10 should be good to go unless you want more ambers and more of a body stone. Then 11-12 weeks.

30 Aug 2020. Day 127 (Picture) - First day of flowering week 8 and I'm excited 😏😏Watered with 200mL nutrient solution and trying to keep the temperature down, it's being super hot here these days. Not much I can do, I hope this won't affect final growth.. 01 Sept 2020. Feeding with 300mL nutrient solution and 600mL water. 03 Sept 2020. Day 131 (Picture) - New pics of my royal highness, She's beautiful and the smell is very light. Definitely a plant that would not be noticed for the smell, this could be a very good feature for outdoor grow! Also watered with 700mL

FLOWERING WEEK 9 06 Sept 2020 - Day 134 - I watered with 500mL water + 100mL nutrient solution. This is the last time I feed her. I checked her thricomes and although I can see some milky ones, many are still transparent so I'll give her at least 2 more weeks of flowering. No more feeding duting this last stage. I will move this to the right week when I have some pics. Peace to you 07 Sept 2020 - Day 135 (Picture) - Second day of flowering week 9. I looked at her trichomes and I confirm that she will probably be harvested in 3 weeks. It's being a very long journey but I'm very excited to see what will come... 10 Sept 2020 - Day 138 - Watered with 300mL tap water pH 6.5 11 Sept 2020 - Day 139 - 1 whole liter of water for this queen, and trichomes are still clear on the flowers...As I anticipated, two more weeks to go 12 Sept 2020 - Day 140 (Picture) - Last day of week 20 for the beautiful queen. She looks tired and heavy, I guess it's normal for the plant to look a bit sad right now. Buds are big and dense still

Welcome to FLOWERING WEEK 10! 14 Sept 2020 - Day 142. So we are at the second day of flowering week 10 and I start seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. My queen looks a little sad and I don't know if it's because she's lacking something or she's just getting old. I remove some yellow fan leaves in the lower part and watered with 1L tap water pH 6.5. Starvation begins, no more nutrients for her from now on. 15 Sept 2020 - Day 143 (Picture). Day 3 of Flowering Week 10. I took some shots at some of the top colas and inspected trichomes with a microscope. Mainly clear and milky, I would say 50 to 50%. I decided that she will be harvested at the end of Flowering Week 11, still I will keep an eye open for any signs of sudden change. I guess it's all about being a little bit more patient at this point.

FLOWERiNG WEEK 11 21 Sept 2020 - Day 149 (Picture). Welcome to the second day of Flowering Week 11. Plant looks like it's going to be ready soon. It's always thirsty but leaves don't seem so happy even after watering. I guess it's the final stage and leaves are just left behind. I'm giving her only tap water pH 6.5 and lots of attention and love. Trichomes are starting to become milky now. Getting closer to Harvest Day 😊 22 Sept 2020 - Day 150 (picture) - I took some images of the trichomes using a microscope. Still a bit to go in my opinion. Leaves are starting to yellow nicely. So far so good!

26 Sept 2020 - Day 154 - Harvest day has come my friends, it came at day 152. I just removed the bigger fan leaves and hang my branches in my grow room. Rh is now around 40% and it's day 2 of drying. I took a sample bud and dried it in the oven just to get an idea of the overall effect and so far it's just what I was looking for. There is still some thinking about the many things that I can learn from this grow. High temperature is definitely something I will avoid in the future, I think buds are not as dense as they coud potentially be but I will wait until they're fully dry to say. The smell is very pungent and unusual, like nothing I ever smoked (but I'm no expert), so far clorophille is still predominant anyways. 28 Sept 2020 - Day 156 (Picture) - The plant has been drying 4 days now and it's stil not ready to be trimmed and cured (small branches don't snap). Buds have shrunk a lot and although it's a little disappointing I guess it's all about the experience being this my first grow. If I were to speculate I would say it's due to two main issues: temperatures too high during flowering, and lots of sugar leaves that are now drying and leaving empy room. I would definitely choose a different strain to cultivate during summer, we had 32 to 35°C degrees average over here. Also light distance could be an issue but I had the two main tops growing much taller than the rest and there was not much I could do. Another issue is that I was away during the first two weeks of flowering so I missed the window of opportunity to remove the smaller buds from the lower part of the plant, this is definitely something I will do next time! The smell becomes more and more amazing day by day now. Despite small yield due suboptimal growing conditions I'm fully satisfied of the final product. Time and patience did pay off.
