RB is picking up after some defoliation, she was too bushy and it was hindering the side branches, top looks NIIIICE
RJ is BIG man im glad i kept her when she was younger, really looked like she wasnt gonna be worth the effort
THOSE FLYING L*TTLE SHITS ARE GONE FOR GOOD FINALLY NO MORE EATING MY ROOTS
Good job taking care of the pests :) As @Jaindoh said it might be smart to check out on the eggs too, those can be feisty buggers.
Nice update, looking good ;)
@bobo420, yeah me too but it still used to be alot worse so even if they are they arent such a bother anymore ^^ nah doesnt have any waiting period, ill just keep controlling the situation and killing every one i can find ππ
@Catmicas29, good luck with it, hope you can finish harvest without them being an integral part of it :/ as for the bugs spray, check the spray - it might have a few days/weeks of 'waiting period' for it to completely be gone.
@bobo420, Thanks man π yeah a few very tiny ones have been showing up here and there but ive been killing them and using a plant friendly bug spray in my room
They're coming along nicely. Some nice growth since the last time I looked in. Seems the LSTing is going well. Funny how everyone on GD thinks you are male! ha ha... Hope you are doing well π
Just checking in. How is the seedling doing? Is she looking any better in terms of leaf structure. Would love to see an update to your diary. - Zannabis7
@Catmicas29, Yes. looking much better. Thanks for the update to the diary. I will be following your grow. If you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Happy and successful growing.
Those are fungus gnats, almost certainly; they don't prefer cannabis roots but will eat them to get to what they're after.
As long as you can get it taken care of it shouldn't be a problem. if they get the roots you will have root stress symptoms i.e. drooping.
I use potassium silicate in coir, helps for strong roots as many root stress symptoms. Defends against gnats as well. May not be helpful depending on your brand of soil/nutes; many soils are high in silica already.
Your LST is probably slowing the onset of flower. Hard to say. Not that it isn't completely worth it, just not necc worrying about.
OTOH not only will it improve yield from being wider the plant will be bigger.
Sometimes you do need to drop their lights but when I need to drop lights for auto 12/12 works much better or stepping down 2 hours at a time to 12.Does RQS recc 24h? not all autos recc 24h. You can also try the old 2 days in the dark -> 12/12, has worked for me.
Also keep in mind some lights make autos take longer, my old mars hydro reflectors were that way whether i was training, topping or nothing; they'd re-veg constantly too.
excellent work, sir! the LST will come in handy! as she grows, if you're careful, you might be able to get her to lay down even more -- youd be surprised how effective it is
very good work, especially for a first grow! liked and followed!
Hey there. You update looks great. They might be a little bit behind schedule, but just stay with it (and keep the cat away) and they will rebound nicely. We are going to get you some killer flowers out of this. Best wishes my friend. - Zannabis7
When this week (5) is over if it doesnt show any signs of preflower ill change it from 24/0 to 18/6 to see if it triggers anything, if it does im gonna put it to 20/4 and hope they dont go back to veg
@Catmicas29, More than likely it will recover and go away. The video was cool - nice to hear your voice. I will follow along with your diary and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Best wishes on the grow - Zannabis7
Could also most likely be very small 2-3mm thrips that is causing the spots.
Edit: either way, buy organic cold pressed Neem Oil and spray them 2 times and they'll be gone.
@Catmicas29, just remember to spray them before the lights turns off, and don't make to strong blend because it _could_ burn them if they're exposed to very strong light and strong blend of neem oil directly after! :)
