These were some freebie seeds that came with my order from seedsman. I have grown 2 othe fastbuds strains with little success... my fault so I'm hoping for redemption on these. Just placed in 5 gal pots today on day 6 since germination in rapid rooter plugs. Fox farm ocean forest soil and water so far.
Have these in my tent with my Glueberry OG autos and some various other seedlings.... got the quantum board set up and wow it's so much brighter than the 600 watt hid! Much cooler running too obviously. Let's see what they will do!
Doing well the new quantum board set up is giving them plenty of light. Certainly brighter than the 600w HID. They seem to love it. Just been giving ph'd rainwater and a little cal mag. Gonna feed this week and see what they will do.
Well they have started throwing some pistils out but i will call this the last veg week.. they grew alot this week. Was hoping to get 4 or 5 weeks before signs of preflower but oh well... Gonna add some bloom nutes this week in the mix... gonna need to thin my tent out at some point. Might move all the autos to another room... my 3 Glueberry OG autos and these 2 are the only automatics. Check out that diary as well! They were started a couple weeks earlier
One staying compact the other is stretching out. Wish I had got my lst done before it was too late.. oh well they were free seeds anyway. They looked to be a paler green than the rest of the crew so i upped the cal mag a little. Could just be the genes... we'll see.
One seems to have a little head start on the other so far. Cleaned up some lower leaves and branches yesterday. In the process I could smell lemon Candy wow! Love the nose on these. Sweet and citrusy. Did a little mini flush also with some rainwater ph'd at 6.3. Want to keep to much build up in the soil from happening. Last few feedings were a little on the heavy side but they have not shown any signs of tip burn. Wish I had gotten that lst done on em!
Smelling like lemon cake already! Really regretting not doing any LST on these ladies. One has thrown out way more fan leaves while the other has a better structure all around... both developing nicely tho. They are handling higher nutrient concentrations better than the Auto Glueberry OG. Next couple weeks they should really stack and swell.
Getting chunky this week the Lemon smell is soooooo lovely. Dialing back on Nutes this week. Seeing a few milky trichs and will want to do a 2 week flush to finish them off strong. Will see how things progress this week. Maybe one or 2 more feedings. Hoping they continue to bulk up. Tops are very dense and covered in trichomes. Hope I can capture its smell after a good cure. It's amazing. Might be one to run again!
Flush time this has been a rough couple weeks I have had pests in my garden! In the mean time i have added some ladybugs to the environment to hopefully stop them before I harvest. Im not even completely sure what the are. The one pic is larval stage I'm assuming. They will molt or whatever and have wings at some point. If anyone can help identify that would be awesome. Seems like some kind of white fly to me. Ready to clear everything out. Runoff is still about 800 ppm so I need to flush a while longer.
Today was the last day for these twins. Day 79 from seed. Lovely lemon aroma for sure. Frosty and sticky. I ended up doin a budwashing technique on these since they finished outside and were attacked by aphids. Ladybugs helped but didnt have time to really colonize the environment. They were cut and went into a 5 gallon bucket with water and H2O2 solution for 20 to 30 seconds swirled around as to not touch the sides or bottom. Then into the lemon juice and baking soda solution for another swirl. Then 2 rinse in clean water. Drip dried outside for a bit then into the tent with fans and exhaust cranked up. My first time doing this process and I can say there are a ton of aphid skins and other residue in these buckets. Will probably do again when my outdoor garden is harvested. Its something I never would have imagined doing but I couldn't imagine not trying to get the bugs and honeydew from the aphids rinsed off somehow. I did a ton of research on it and decided I would try it. Next update will have a final weight and review. ✌️🧙♂️
So one plant had more of the straight lemon candy smell and one was more of a lemon cream. Hung for 7 days and clipped from branches and weighed up a total of 116 grams (pre trim). About 86 grams of good tops and buds with another 30 grams of larf and popcorn. Have them jarred up with broveda 62% humidity packs. Would definitely grow again. I did absolutely zero training on these so 2 oz per plant was pretty impressive to me. With proper training I'm sure they could really be monsters
@Cherubino, I cant speak to its definite ability as I have never done a side by side with and without it. May try tho on some clones. I would say everything I have fed it to has been super frosty and sticky. How far in flower is the plant you are feeding it?
