Cataract Kush

Got this clone off of one of my mate, first go at a photo so interested to see what the end result will be. Day 4 12/05/2020. Plant is topped, and getting ready for manifold, will need to let the lower branch grow a bit more before tieing it down.

Fucked up trying to mainline, snapped the whole branch. So have to restart from scratch let the plant grow a bit and will LST and possibly top trying to get 6 colas. Lets see how we go. Other than that plant is thriving in her environment, growing by the day.

Good growth this week, especially after snipping one of the branches whuch is why i couldnt attempt manifolding . Did some LST and she responded nicely.

Week 4 went well, no dramas or hiccups. She is growing daily and im adjusting the ties almost on a daily basis. Did some defoliation today . We should probably start to see some real growth from this week onward. Stay tuned and let me know what you guys think and if there is anything else i can do.

Shes filling up nicely, did some defoliation throughout the week to uncover some future bud sites. Will probably veg for another 2 or 3 weeks then flip to flower

Week 6 Day 1- gave her a haircut and re adjusted the ties. Run off EC is 2.0 same as the watering EC. Will keep watering daily with 4 ml/L of both A and B and add 1 ml of Cal mag. Lets see how she will react to the hair cut, will update throughout week. Week 6 Day 2 - did some more defoliation and tied it down, hoping to get 10 colas at the end. Week 6 Day 5 - she is recovering well from the defoliation good growth in 3 days. Will leave it be for the next week and will probably flip to 12/12 by end of next week. End of the week report, good growth especially after the heavy defoliation and training. Will just let her rest and recover this week before i flip the light. So far this grow has been a breeze, fingers crossed it continues this way, im looking forward for the end result. Stay tuned and happy growing

week 7 Day 3, good growth so far. Letting her do her own thing this week before the flip. Week 7 Day 4 - filling up nicely, will probably flip by the end of this week Week 7 Day 7- end of the week, amazing growth this week. Will be transferring her tomorrow to a bigger tent in preparation for the flowering stage, my current tent is 0.8 x 0.8 x 1.6, she will be transferred to 1.2 x 1.2 x 2. And possibly swapping the LED to 400w HPS light.Have a great weekend guy and happy growing

Moved her into a bigger tent for flowering under 400w HPS. Switched the light yesterday on her, will keep feeding grow nutes for this week but at 3 ml/L will drop to 2 ml during the week and introduce 1 ml of bloom and then up it to 2ml by the end of the week in preparation for full bloom cycle starting next week. Week 8 Day 3 - did some light defoliation, took the leaves covering some bud sites. This should be the last defoliation. Added 1 ml of bloom to the feeding and dropped the grow nutes to 2ml/L. Lets see how she reacts. Week 8 Day 5 - i fed her twice today once before lights off with 2ml grow and 2 ml bloom. Then fertigated again after lights on (12 hours later) with 3 ml of Bloom. She is growing by the hour and filling out nicely. Dropped the light a little bit as i noticed temp dropped a bit especially that its winter here at the moment

week 9 Day 1 - bud sites starting to form, pistils started to appear so im guessing we shud see some initial bud formation this week. Feeding full bloom nutes , lets see how she will react this week. Week 9 Day 3 - started to fill up and stretch perfectly, responding well to the nutes. All in all shes a happy girl. Week 9 Day 4 - trimmed her fan leaves and cut iff some of the small bud sites that are under the canopy. Didnt go too extreme , will probably do another defoliation in week 3 . Lets see how she reacts

day 67 F11 - did some light defoliation and a bit of lollipopping, it should be the last time i defoliate will reassess next week and see if she needs some fan leaves removed but i will leave the plant do its thing from now on. Buds started to form and she has stretched nicely forming what will be 10 Colas eventually. My humidity is a bit high but i did order a dehumidifier which should be delivered some times next week. Fingers crossed. End of week 10, dehumidifer arrived and RH is now at 55%. nothing major to report this week. Good growth overall will try and do some light defoliation next week and that should be the last time i do anything to her, will leave her to do her own thing. Happy Growing

mid week update, noticed the start of nute burn so i dropped down my feeding to 3ml/L instead of 4. Tested run off EC and its at 2.7 bit higher than where i would like it to be, as i was feeding 2.1 ec i expected the run off should be at a maximum of 2.4, so i fed her 2L of nutes water and 2L of RO water, will do this again tomorrow and will retest the run off to check for the ec. Beside that the plant is growing by thenday, buds are forming and she is taking her final shape before starting focusing on them buds. Trichomes has appeared and i expect her to be frosty at the end, i guess bud candy and big bud are doing their thing.

Very solid week, she took her final shape and started working on the buds. This week the budlets are turning into buds . She is super frosty and sticky, my fingers sticked together after trimming couple of leaves. The smell hits you every time you open the tent Still feeding 3/4 recommended dose for nutes and she seems to be happy there. I think i managed to get the nute burn under control for now ( took couple pics straight after lights off)

Good solid week of growth, the buds are filling up nicely. Im letting the plant do her thing, just open the tent once daily to water her. Going into week 7 of flower we should start seeing buds maturing , so i will be swapping the Big Bud nutrient to Overdrive for the next 2 weeks then she will be ready for a flush. Happy Growing

Nothing much to report, buds are maturing and filling up, she is starting to smell real good , that nice musky earthy smell (im growing a pineapple express along side and the difference in smell is so obvious) Will keep feeding bud candy and overdrive for another week and then flush with flawless finish. Took a small sample from the bottom of the plant below the canopy currently drying, will update during the week haha Happy Growing

she is marching towards harvest, trichomes are all milky, so hoping to see some amber in the next couple days, will keep checking trichomes daily with a digital microscope. Upped the overdrive and bud candy to full strength this week, I will feed her nutes for another 2 days then starts flushing with flawless finish for 7 days. So hoping to chop 10 days from today (21/08/20). Took a sample to try from the very bottom of the plant , drying at the moment. I will update as soon as i try it. Have a great week and happy growing

end of week 9, she is getting frostier by the day, Will water one more time then let the pot dry before putting her in darkness for 48 hours so I reckon i will be chopping in the next 4-5 days. Tried the sample that i took last week and its a beautiful indica high that creeps up on you and knock you out eventually. You can definitely feel the cataract effect in you eyes lol. Cant wait to chop and cure this baby. Happy Growing

Flowering week 10 Day 5. Its chop day, last water was sunday then let it dry until wednesday morning then 24 hrs darkness and chopped this morning Thursday 3rd of September. 3 main branches on the plant as you can see from the pictures will let it dry for 7-10 days then will do the harvest report. super easy plant to grow, even tho i messed up at the start with mainlining, but she recovered well. It was my first photoperiod plant ever so i might have flipped it a bit too early ( i was hoping to yield more). Even tho it still needs curing, the smoke is a strong creeping indica dominant that will leave you crippled 20 minutes after smoking it . Placed into jars for curing, will update in the next couple weeks once buds have cured. Thanks for tuning in and hopefully we see you in the next grow
