Dropped 3 in water for 24 hrs, then into paper towel and somewhere warm. Duck 1 (had a bigger sprout) and 2 took 48hrs to pop and duck 3 took another 24 hrs to pop. Potted straight into final 15litre pot. Took 3 days to surface. Duck 3 suffered damping off and died. planning to veg indoors under cfl then move outdoors for the flower. Also I might mainline duck 1 and lst duck 2 but need to see how they grow first couple of week. Photo is day 5 from surfacing and changed light schedule to 18/6
Day 7: soil is slightly damp, only watering around the base at 20ml per plant. Temperature drop threw the night past 4 days. Still growing nicely
Panicked on day 7 cause I think the soil isn't drying out quick enough. Put out in the sun with flim over the top for 3 hours then removed film and left all day in the sun. On day 8 put back indoors as weather is too get bad. Didn't think they grew much but the first real leaves have doubled since day 5. Awaiting nuets.
Steady growth. I have taken them outside after 2 weeks and 4days. They were to come out at 2 weeks but bad weather kept them inside and in my terrible make shift set up. I want to see how hardy these are under northern hemisphere climate.
It has been great weather and they are growing well.
Grow has been going great even if they are a bit small. I can see a slight yellow of the leaves coming threw. Don't know the reason yet but started the day after I gave nutrients, so I'm waiting a few days to see if changes. The weather has changed from warm and sunny to the wind and rain. I can get a smell off them but I need to stick my nose into them.
The weather has been terrible, wind rain and little sun. Been having a problem with pests. Mainly green fly. I've made a organic pesticide with neem oil and chemical free washing up liquid. It seems to work well. Other than that I'm happy with the grow
Weather has got better and they have really started to grow although I think its too late for them. The white hairs have just came through on day42. Plants look healthy and stealthy. Even the seasoned smoker doesn't recognise them. There is a smell but you have to be close, about 2ft away to get a whif and even then I sure it would be hard to detect. Think I can cause i know they are there.
The weather has been on and off. They have really started to stretch in the last couple of days. I think this is due to the LST. Im folding fan leaves to let the light get in everywhere. Over the past weeks there has been a lot of rain which hasn't bothered them in the slightest. Going to add some biobizz flower to the water this week
Weather has been on and off. Not many days over 20c. There is an occasional smell of them but not very strong. They are still stretching and the buds are developing nicely.
Gave them their last feed on day 77. Weather has been on and off. Some browning of hairs appearing and yellowing of fan leaves so I suspect its coming close
They have completely stop growing and buds are putting on size. Leaves are yellowing but they still have white pistiles. Should I trim the yellow fan leaves?
It has rained everyday. I have just noticed that both of them have bud rot. I have cut off the affected areas. The rest of the buds and plant look healthy. That must of been the yellowing of the leaves which I thought was the start of harvest. 🤞
Had to pull them on day 92 as the grey mold had set in and the next few days were high humidity. The trichomes were all milky white to the naked eye. Didn't see many clear or Amber. I think they had just one more good week to go but that's the problem outside but if i left them any longer I would of lost it all. Had to chop and bin about ⅕of buds due to mold. Low smell throughout the grow. Blended in nicely with the surroundings.
@GooseBees, no shelter. But they don't seem to mind. Very hardy. There is plenty of holes in the bottom for them to drain. I think these would do great in a green house
The growth looks nice and healthy, even if the plant is a bit small! I am guessing you have plenty of holes for drainage in the bottom of the bucket? Hopefully the plant will take off a bit before it flowers, happy growing! 👍🌱
@Cheeba_Inu, yes I have drilled a load of holes. I hope it does, the weather isn't great and the forecast doesn't look good for the future. I'm giving them 1 drop of biobizz grow in 1.5litre between them. So 0.75 each every 4 days. Im praying it takes off
@CRiSPrGrow, my set up is make shift, as I only wanted to give them a good start before putting outside. Its 2 x 35w cfl 6000kv. No tent. Thanks for the info
@Lordspock, it's fine man, depends on your set up, some folks do veg inside and flowering outside, or you can put it there now and save money, it's really up to you, shouldnt be such a big shock for the plants actually
@CRiSPrGrow, too late. I put a single drop of biobizz grow into 1.5litre. I gave each plant around 60ml of the solution. Im looking to move outside as soon as they are ready. When do you think the time is right?
