@Lucky777,well I have to admit , led tastes better , but yields less , I'm trying to see if I can get bigger yields , with the led s , and they also seem to take longer , I think very soon they will perfect the spectrum , or maybe that's why it tastes better , more oils more terpenes , there is much less stretch , I was sick of growing silly sized unmanageable plants , that consume ridiculous amounts of water , so I changed , give me a few goes at it and we can see 👍

Jheeze Bro , seen mixed reviews on this as well ... hope it hasn't affected the bud itself. The flowers actually looks nice and dense mate.

Ouch, nute burn hurts, sorry to hear that man she was looking so pretty. Hopefully it doesn’t affect the flavor and make it harsh. I usually go light in DWC just as you did, topping out at 1.5EC max. But I don’t use Terpinator. There is a Company out here in Cali called Emerald Harvest. They make this product called Honey Chome which has no NPK value so it won’t burn. When tested against anything else makes it makes the likes of Terpinator look like sugar water. But that’s just what I found, Terpinator was beast back in the day before they changed the formula (worked in Hydroponics 7 years). Hope it still comes out Fuego!

@BigDaddyK,it’s because they changed the formula, take it from a guy who worked years in Hydroponics and is a Biochem Major. Like many good Nutrients they changed owners (hands) and once the new CEOs saw profit horizons they thought, “how do I get there cheaper?”. Sometimes they water it down, sometimes it loses a buffer. It’s not your fault they changed terp in 2015 and it hasn’t been as good since.

@Lucky777,unfortunately the smoke was not great , it was burnt by th3 terpinator, I don’t think this lived up to the hype , yield was about 3 ounces , the lemon on my other diary , is much better 👍

Really nice! Some of the leaves got brown spots, i got the same here! Could it be a Ca or Mg deficiency ? Maybe linked to DWC ? 🤔

@BigDaddyK, yeah I know what you mean I like a nice small wide bush they just seem to perform better overall and I always aim for an even canopy I like to say less plant more bud my ww is about 50cm high I'v not measured exactly but rougly and around 40 cm are all buds the rest is structure I like my plants like this but yeah you have to keep a good air flow going

@biggreens420,what I'm trying to do is keep the plant compact , this makes the plant too dense , the leaves rub on each other when they are growing , causing a few issues , the plus side is that they have more bud sites at a lower height , with the leds it's really important to try and keep the canopy level , ( under these 150 watts ) I'm trying to grow smaller plants , everyone looks and sees the monsters but they are almost unmanageable,I want quality not quantity 👍

Man I’m so bummed she got burned, I know with any plant stress hurts yields and with an Auto it is like a 30% hit. Are the Trichs Cloudy? Or your just kinda over this one? Still looks frosty though, and I’m sure with a good good flush it will still be tasty.

@FadedTotoro,that is such a difficult question to answer , in a way yes I do , they are more enjoyable, the THC levels are just right so you can still function , I think fast buds really opened up the market to hobby growers , they are so reliable , but after tasting the cherry bomb auto , which is super sticky , I like the effect more, also growing techniques have come along way , and I think I have dialled in the right combination, having said that you might see later on in this diary , sometimes things can change rapidly downhill

I forgot just how bad automatics put photoperiods to shame as far as intense flowering. Most of my room is barely getting around to taking off and they are already approaching week three 😂
