12th May the four seeds were dropped into their individual glasses of room temperature water at 14:15, ready to be germinated. The glasses are placed in the washing room where the conditions are warm and humid.

Royal Jack and Royal cookies 1 and 2 germinated both within 36 hours and were planted into regular pot soil in pots of 2L. The third royal cookies took 4 days to germinate but was finally also planted into the nursery. On day 6 after germination started they were all placed into their new permanent pots, being 19L. No nutrients were used except the ones in the regular soil. Plants are receiving 16 hours of sunlight, after sunset they are put into the garage for complete darkness. Just before sunrise they are put back outside. No artificial light is being used. The initial growth was extremely fast but the last two days it has slowed down a bit, perhaps because they are now developing their root system. Hopefully the actual plant will start growing again quickly.

Grow is almost all good. Royal Jack is going a bit yellow whereas the others are not. None are getting any sort of extra nutrients and all the same amount of water. Royal Cookies 3 is developing its leaves in an odd manner. Curious to see how that will develop.

A lot of growth in the last week as thanks to warm weather and sunshine only. Royal Jack is still going more yellow, I still have no idea why that could be. Royal Cookies 3 is still growing a bit deformed. Does anyone have any tips or has anyone had the some problem and know how to solve it. Thanks in advance.

Weak smell is finally starting to develop and it is amazing. Also starting LST this week on all four plants. I need help with the Royal Jack. The plant that started out so well is really struggling and I have no idea why. Any tips are more than welcome. Also I'm having a bit of a pest situation. Ive looked under the leaves and around the plant but was unable to find anything that could be capable of doing this damage. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance

Does anyone have any ideas what could cause the yellow and dropping of leaves for the Royal Jack. All plants are treated the same. The growth is stagnating as a result.

Hello, So a few things are coming to mind, is your temperature only dropping 2 degrees at night? And have the highs only been 70 with 70% humidity? A lot of the symptoms the curling, the cupping up of some outter edges make me think of heat and humidity stress... i was just surprised to see an outdoor environment so consistent. Then in last week the ak has a yellow pattern that stripes right through the veins of the leaves...which i would typically associate with magnesium. Are you going to bring in some nutrients at any point or going all natural? Are you able to get an estimate of the ph going in and a runoff ph? And lastly if you aren't already I would saturate the entire pot with water each watering, the photo looks a bit dry. *does the plant perk up when you water, if so it could be partially underwatering. I'm sorry that was a lot of questions, it's just a hard one to call with such consistent outdoor environment and no ph or nutrients to go off. The outdoor battle is an exciting one but definitely has it's challenges. Happy growing. ✌️

Finally warmer temperatures and more sun again! Royal Cookies 1 has started to flower slowly since yesterday with the three other plants also displaying subtle signs so hopefully that will continue in the coming days. The smell, although relatively weak, is absolutely fantastic. Also the pest issue was resolved, with thanks to @experimentgreen for their help and advice on other matters as well. Because of a lack of growth last week I decided to apply some extra nutrients which I sadly can't select from the list, but I will add the exact details here soon. The plants seem to have responded very well to them in the last two days especially Royal Jack which has been struggling a lot recently. Whilst performing LST I realised the main fan leaves were blocking most of the new stems so I have cut them off, two per plant per dat which has had a hugely positive effect. Hopefully the weather this week will be a bit better as well. If anyone has any tips or tricks they would be hugely appreciated in the comments and thank you for following my diary thus far 👊

Hello, The leaf bites.... usually a bit that big would make me think of either a finger pinched it off, or a bigger bug like a Caterpillar, crickets, grasshoppers. You might want to spray the plant with a neem oil spray, or a bt spray. Do you have many bites or just the 1 leaf so far?

@010tillidie, my aunt has a really handy bug trap she sets up in her garden...it might catch something...it might not in our case with so many tiny bugs out there. But you take a tuna can, empty, add about half full with oil, and a piece of apple in the center, any bugs will crawl in and bye bye. Might help to identify any potential critters.

@Experimentgreen, Hi thank you for your help. The bites are on the two healthier looking plants so Royal Cookies 2 and 3. on 4 leaves total since today so not the end of the world. But I was planning on trying neem oil today so hopefully that will help.
