@715creeks, hi mate, heat is a serious problem especially with dwc, if you can lower temps to 23 Celsius would be great. I would also strongly recommend use voodoo juice, piranha, tarantula, and sensizym, since you go with Advanced. Cant tell for sure if your roots have rot, cause could be and nutrient stains. If the plant gets better then you don't have rot for sure. Although I haven't used it, since I switched to plant it gemini system, have read by many people that hydroguard is excellent for dwc systems, may be you could check it. I am hoping that you have just some nutrient burn and nothing more. I am always mentioning root rot cause its a tricky bastard that reveals itself in many combined burns and deficiencies. I had root rot 3-4 times in dwc systems and it was a very depressing experience, trust me. Crossing my fingers for the best. I am speculating that the silky texture may happen due to the nutrients, but not sure. Have you changed the reservoir? You could do a light cycle for 2-3 days with oxyplus just to add some oxygen to the roots. And the start feeding her lightly. Half minimum dosage. Check advanced nutrients program and buy cal mag and the rest of the series for grow and bloom. First add in water cal mag, then the rest, check ph, correct ph. Hope I helped.

@AmnZhz, Thanks so much for taking the time to help me, i really appreciate it. i took all of your advice. i have managed to get all the temperature down, 21c day/18c night. i had forgotten that I had added a nutrient when I started that I was recommend by my local hydroponics shop called 'silver bullet' (https://www.growell.co.uk/pest-control-plant-health/disease-control/silver-bullet-roots.html) so I think that probably rules out root rot? i'm hoping that the new growth will come through healthier but it doesn't look that way atm, what do you think?

@715creeks, hi mate, check regularly your ph. Usually when I was doing dwc and everything was going great the ph was raising. If it drops its not a good sign. Check your ph regularly to see whats going on, with lights off of course.
