She's been watered with one red solo-cup worth of de-chlorinated tap water, once per day! She's growing with fantastic vigor, and is on track for a day 14 training session!

Day 14 - Prepared this girl for a beautiful LST structured manifold! She was Lolipopped + De-leafed + LST! I started day 14 by watering the dry growing medium. She was watered with a 0.5 gallon dosage of the above listed nutrients. Next, I lolipopped off the bottom node, on one side (the side that I plan to LST the plant to). Then, I de-leafed the top leaf, that was shading the bottom node, one the opposite side. Finally, I secured her down in position, with a plastic-coated-metal-hook!

Day 18 - Re-positioned the LST pin for the main stem! Day 21 - Re-positioned the LST pin for the main stem, as well as added a pin for each of the larger nodes that need a better direction to grow. Defoliated 6 leaves off. Lolipopped 9 nodes off, so that 6 (well spaced) nodes remain! 0.5 gallon dosage of the above listed nutes, every ~3 days (when soilless medium becomes 90% dry(not coco)).

Looks to me that the flowering transition has begun! I did some light defoliation, and LST. 1 Gallon dosage of the above listed nutrients lasts for about 3 days, before drying out, and ready for the next dosage!

Day 31 - Lolipopped the lower nodes off, and gave a light defoliation. Day 35 - Gave her a light defoliation! Watering a 1 gallon dosage of the above listed nutrients, every 4-5 days (When the growing medium becomes 95% dry.)

1 gallon, of the above listed nutrients, every 3 days, for the past 2 weeks! I've been selectively de-leafing every about 5-7 days.. I haven't needed to remove much at all, to maintain good light coverage to bud-sites!

She's now being fed 2.5 gallons of the above listed nutrients every 5-7 days (when the growing medium becomes 95% dry). The previous 1 gallon dosage was starting to dry out 95% every 2 days.. It was time to increase to maximum dosage. (Concentration of nutrients remains the same as before, just more of it, to fully saturate the medium, and cause some runoff.) Very Sticky, Stinky.. Makes me Salivate! I measured the runoff PH... it's below 4... I had thought the additives that I was adding caused the downward ph drift in my other plants, and now here it's happening to my plants that are only fed the base, and calmag! Input PH has always been between 6-6.5 during veg, and the same during flower. Anyone know what's going on? Should I PH my nutrients to 8+ and hope that the PH of the medium balances out? All opinions welcome!

Middle of Flower - Runoff PH has drifted below 4.. detected during the first watering of 2.5 gallons (10% runoff) 6gallon pot. Previously watered/fed with 1 gallon of 1tsp/gal GHE Floranova Grow(in veg), then Bloom (after week 2 flower). Input PH has always been between 6-6.5

Left over nutrients in the media are acidic, so when you feed, they get left in the media and then this dries in the media. When you water again, it re-solubles the nutrients , lowers the PH of the water and your runoff, while redepositing more nutrients into the media to start the process all over again. A solid flush will remove the dried nutrients and allow you to place more nutrients into the system at the proper PH.

Plucked a few leaves that were looking at me funny ;) Not much to do! Very strong lemony smell!! Watered with 2.5 gallons of the above listed nutrients, every 5-6 days. (when the soil becomes 95% dry) 10% of the solution watered runs out the bottom of the pot, and is removed with a wet-vacuum.

Grew beautifully! Stretched a bit while transitioning to flower. She was LST'd weekly, from week 2 from seed. She was also gently lightly lolipopped a few times; to be maintained at around 5-6 nodes.

Stretched vigorously once she started to transition to flower. Developed potency early in flower! She was LST'd weekly, starting week 2. She was also gently lolipopped a few times, to maintain growth towards 5-6 nodes only.

So you start training you plants in week 2? I started mine in week 4, and i having issues with leveling here, is that the reason? Or am I completely out of line? 😅

@Basementganja, hahaha ok 😁 yeah I topped mine in week 4, I think I topped node 4 😅 And then LST her, but with minimum defoliation (as I was told not to stress it to much! But my next will be critical auto from fastbuds and I think I will try that one you did with your second GSC :) PS I promise I won't hurt any animals during this process 😅

Hello it's me with the millions questions again 😂 are you giving your seedling 0.5 l water every day? And 2 litersfrom week 2 ever 2-3 day?
Trixx
Trixxcommented5 years ago
@Basementganja,yeah I have a net at the bottom to so the water she don't want the pots dumps. But I've read and been told to rather wait then to water to water to much, so I've been gladly waiting 5-6 days (even at seedling) and just sprayed her frequently instead! Oh alright that's a gamechanger for me! Iam honored sir! Happy growing 🌱

@Trixx, np! overwatering isn't about water quantity. you're thinking about drowning! - but With holes in the bottom of my pots, any extra water will pour out.. When that water is removed, drowning is prevented. I mostly take care with the quantity, in the first couple weeks from seed, where they're first establishing their roots into the 6-7 gallon pots. (you don't want your soil to take any longer than 6-7 days to dry out.. Less is more, at the start! This is why I prefer to water daily during the first week) Overwatering is all about watering-frequency (watering too often - not letting the soil dry out between waterings). Anytime! Happy growing :)

@Basementganja, Jesus hell, and here iam shitting my pants scared for overwatering in my airpot. Jesus almighty! Well those are big numbers for me, iam at day 70 now and she gets 2 liters every ~4-5 days 😅 yes I have bought floranova veg and blom (since I adore your growing and want mine to become as beautiful) but this girl got alot of organic fertilizer in the soil so iam afraid of making her overnuted. But big thank you once again 😁
