5 seeds soaked in RO water for 24 hours, then moved to damp paper towel for 12 hours. Dropped into starter cubes, then transplanted into red solo cups after 3 days. Picture shows seedlings 5 days after fully opening cotyledons.
Starting light schedule at 14 hours on, 10 hours darkness to help sex the plants faster. Once plants are sexed, males will be composted and females will be vegged until maturity, clones taken then moved into the flower tent. We are 4 to 6 weeks away from flower.
Smaller of the two plants unfortunately suffered from poor drainage for nearly a week. After transplanting into ~2 gallon pots, she began recovering. She'll be the runt of the bunch!
Week 3 of flower! 2 phenotypes, showing different leaf structures. Both smell sweet on the stem rub. One has a chemmy, burnt rubber aroma and the other smells of raspberry and classic skunk/dankness.
Stretch has slowed as the plants hormones induce flower set!
Stretch has slowed and flower set has begun! I have swapped out my 600 watt HPS/MH combo for a 240 watt LED fixture! Temperatures are holding stable at 76F and light intensity has actually increased due to improved uniformity! Can't wait to see how these plants develop over the next 4 weeks.
Fairly certain out of the 4 plants (and 4 phenotypes), Cookies & Chem #1 is definitely a keeper. She is throwing a lot of resin and smells citrusy and gassy. I have heard tales of a citrus shortcake/shortbread flavored plant -- hope I found her!
This run is approximately 2 weeks behind schedule -- light schedule was set to 12/12 9 weeks ago. However, the plants appear to be in week 7 of flower. Bulking has started and resin production has increased. I plan on harvesting 5 to 7 days after ~60% of the pistils have receded.
