ValdivianGrower Day 12/05/2020 (1 of vegetation), the period begins in the presence of light, using the vegetative option on the LED panel. They will receive 24 hours of light until the first signs of flowering appear, at which point the photoperiod will change to 20/4.

ValdivianGrower Day 10. They were watered with 1 liter of water with Hesi vegetative fertilizers. They're still on a 24/0 light schedule. The lamp is high, but I'll lower it a bit.

ValdivianGrower Day 20 of cultivation, about 5 days ago the plants showed their sex and I changed the photoperiod to 20 hours of light and 4 hours of darkness. One of the plants tended to grow more and stretched a bit more than the other; this same plant was the one that from the beginning had a light green coloration, compared to the other plant that had a "normal" green. Today they were watered only with complex flowering fertilizer and boost. Soon I'll put the carbon filter on for odor control.

ValdivianGrower Day 25. The plants look super good overall, and the trend of one being much more elongated than the other continues. The one that grew more is a bit close to the lamp, but I don't want to raise it since the height is perfect for the other plant. The small one is 32 cm and the big one is 50! Both are starting to show a fertilization problem, as shown in the photos. This problem is recurring in my grows; I think it might be the water since in Valdivia, Chile, it's extremely soft and almost free of calcium and magnesium. I don't control pH, so that could also be something to evaluate. As a novelty in this grow, the small plant expressed a mutation that causes a small flower to grow in the center of the leaves; I noticed that two leaves have this.

What do you think about this deficiency/excess in these plants? Both are 4 weeks old and have shown those signs only on the old leaves. I think it might be a calcium/magnesium deficiency, although I don't control pH, so that's a factor I should also consider. What do you think?

kinda a mix of both, so i'd say k tox? Maybe, zinc deficiency? if you don't know the breakdown of what you feed it'll be a guess even with a leaf chart. i'd break that stuff down based on label and make a more educated guess. e.g. if you find you provide plenty of Ca and Mg, you know it's lockout of some kind. pH is another thing to check. At this point that's what i'd look into first, but do breakdown your nutes for future reference -- if you use a vege and bloom formula, even if some transition, you can have 2 lists of ppms ready to reference. (molarity would be wiser, but info on web will be in ppm)

ValdivianGrower Day 32 of cultivation, the plants have been showing signs of fertilization problems for a week now, tomorrow or the day after they will be watered only with water. I put the carbon filter on since there was a bit of smell coming out.

ValdivianGrower Day 39, I'm still dealing with the fertilization issue, I haven't worked on it yet. I set up a CO2 generation system to support the flowering.

ValdivianGrower Day 44. One of the plants is in very advanced flowering, I need to check the trichomes to see how they're doing, but I think it has little time left before being harvested. The other one looks like it needs a bit more time. I intend for this watering to be the last with fertilizers, then I'll water only with water and do a final flush.

ValdivianGrower Last week of flowering for one of the plants, it smells amazing. This was the plant that had growth problems from the start, and I didn't have much faith in it, however, it exceeded all my expectations. Of the two plants I planted, this one was the best. It will be harvested soon. The other one isn't as fat and also has little time left before being cut.

ValdivianGrower Day 59 of cultivation. This should be her last week, two days ago I gave her 48 hours of darkness, hoping that today she would be ready to be harvested, however, looking at her trichomes I think she might need a little more time. What do you think? I gave her a new watering with final flush from Grotek. They are spectacular! The fat one smells exquisite and has very hard buds, her branches can barely hold the weight! The other one has thinner and less hard buds, but they are at the same level of maturity.

I'm back with the same question! Hahaha I want to cut it at the perfect time! What do you all say? Should I harvest it or give it a couple more days? One of the plants can barely hold the weight of its buds!

Well you don't want to look at the sugar leafs man.. You want to inspect the bud it's self.. sugar leafs mature at a much faster rate.👊

Happy Harvest Day!

In general, I liked the strain. Initially, I thought I detected growth problems in one plant, but I was surprised that it was the one that grew the most and produced the most buds. The one that initially looked better had the lowest yield. If both had performed the same, I would be more than happy, but with what it produced, I am satisfied. A strain with mixed effects, according to my perception, mostly indicates. 35 grams dry from the fat plant, 25 from the thin plant, and I haven't tried the effects of the latter yet (manicure is still pending).

ValdivianGrower Harvested plants on day 60 of germination. Overall, I'm very happy with this grow. At first, I found that one of them was growing with difficulty and thought it might have growth issues, but I was pleasantly surprised that this plant ended up growing the most, fattening up, and I think it will yield more grams of buds (they're very hard and compact!). The other plant, while it didn't grow like the other one and didn't have buds as big and hard, still satisfies me. I will wait for it to dry and will update the information. The complete plants weighed 186 and 190 grams.
