They are all looking strong and healthy. Today will be considered the start of first week of veg and feedings begin with small doses and building up from here.

The last couple of days have been rough for my girls. I probably pushed them into the sun too early(cause of the stretch/weak stem?)but knew the risk and it may have cost me a plant or two. The wind suddenly picked up one afternoon and I found the NL with her face in the dirt. The other two GG held strong but they both have weak stems. All the plants are now being supported with soft wire until they can proof their strong enough on their own. As with every outdoor grow I'm battling insects and weather changes. Despite all the issues with the stems, the plants seem extremely healthy and are growing fast. I'm not counting on the NL to live much longer, her stem is very weak. Any bets on how long she’ll go? The GG sisters are charging in growth and have only had the few bug bites you can see in the pics. I'll keep them supported and feed until they show me something different. Any insight is always welcome.

Start of week 3 above ground. The Green Gelato sisters put a hit out on the Northern Lights plant and succeeded in sending her to an early grave. No worries, live and learn. The GG sisters are absolutely crushing it right now. They love the sun and are taking off. New growth from every node, every day. My plan is to only keep them happy until the end. I won't be doing any real training other than leaf tucking and pulling certain branches into sun. I'm excited to see what the next couple of weeks bring. I stopped the root nutrients this week and will restart them for the first two weeks of flower. ✌️🕺

Another beautiful week of sunny weather and the girls are exploding. Their drinking increases about every other feeding and their responding well to the nutrients as I gradually increase them. On sunny mornings they have a nice scent. GG2 has an extra node within a node thing going on. I'm definitely not complaining about an extra bud site. See picture. Other than fighting some bugs and high winds things are rolling along great. Any advice or opinions are welcome. Gracias

The girls start week 5 having battled some high winds and rain the last few days. Seems like both plants are finished with their last stretch and have started to bloom. Number 2 is ahead of her sister by a couple of days as her pistals are filling out on just about every top. The pistals in the calyxes at each node are already running red. Each plant is turning a richer green and looking very healthy with a strong ”barky”stem. I'd love to get some feedback if anyone is willing to add a comment. How do they look? What am I doing right, wrong? Piece!

I don't water to runoff. Anyone have any opinion on whether or not I flush these in the next few days? I probably won't this round but I'm curious what people think about salt build up vs. letting them thrive on what I'm running and possibly flush before harvest. Happy growing.

If it were me, I would flush with fresh water. I would use a diluted solution with a balance ph and water it to 20% runoff. This will help flush out any salts but will keep the girls fed.

No no no don't really worry about flushing between veg and flower.. This is really bad practice.. I'll tell you why because when you start to flower she needs pretty well exactly the same thing you've been feeding her for the first 2 weeks. the most/more important things are taper off your nitro levels after the 2nd-3rd week of flower...

Charging right along. The sisters fought some wind and had some extra watering this week with the rain. I'm actual thinking I was under watering a bit. I did some defoliating to clean up the lower limbs. *next grow make sure to fill smart pots higher

Every day comes with a little more frosty coating for these sisters. GG1 doesn't seem a dense as her sister around the bud sites but has tons of pitils and plenty of shine. GG2 is just a shit brick house at the bud sites. Dense and tight. 🙄 I'm only reassuring myself when I say these girls are strong and maturing quickly. Their days are now officially numbered whether they like it or not. (I know) I would love to see how far I can push these plants but.....life happens. In about three weeks I'll have to harvest the girls and go mountain biking for a few weeks. That will put around 75ish days and if they keep charging I'll be happy. I'm already really happy with this grow. These are my best results by far. I'd love to hear what you think about these plants so far. Tap on photos for a closer view. Let me know.

These girls are gaining weight every day and seeing them happy and fat is a relief. They have two more weeks, like it or not, to ripen then they will be harvested. This week I will only feed ph’d water until I leave them on their own for the second week where rain will be their only water source. I almost feel like I could harvest at the end if the week but I really want to push them a bit to see the results. I'm not too worried about these plants surviving a week or so on their own, they are strong and healthy. The last week may be the only real stress these plants have had to endure.✌️

Sorry for the delay. These babies are one week from harvest and it's a good feeling. I took the latest photos before I hit the road for a week of biking. At the moment they are o. their own until I return to harvest them. More details to come....

Update: July, 8/17/20 I'm beyond stoked with the yield and quality of this harvest. I did so many things wrong or "not recommended" by many and found that you have to do what you can with what you have. I will probably never grow inside and highly support growing outdoors. I enjoyed tending to these beauties for a few months. They were strong and never showed any negative effects or deficiencies from my process. So I'll do the exact same thing next spring. With over 120 grams I'll be good for a while. Here's a very casual overview of my mistakes and process: Germated in soil with a few ml's of water when needed, I originally had them in a 6-liter pot and quickly realized what wasn't going to work so I went with 15-liter smart pot. Which I also, HIGHLY recommend. I didn't have enough soil so the pots had about 10-12 liters in each. I'll fill pots next time. A week above ground I transplanted the young sprouts to the bigger pots with a pair of giant salad tongs. That's right,, transplanting an auto AND super young. I won't do that again, but I had absolutely no effects from the transplant. Then I feed them from day ten and didn't remove a thing until they got into Veg. WIth minimal LST to get branches to the sun I just watched them grow.I had to harvest them about 10 days before they recommend time but again....they turned out way above average in my book. I wet trimmed and hung the whole plant upside down in a big enough cardboard box for 22 days of drying while I went mountain biking. Seemed to work fine. They were dry and after another trim, I stored them in jars to cure. Since they were out for 22 days the curing is been pretty easy. I open had to reopen jars about every other day the first week and now I just open them when I think about it. It seems like as they sit there are definitely improving in the way they smoke and taste. Overall, I'm super stoked for a harvest of fat, dense buds that smell and look so nice. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for reading. See ya next time. Always a good day when you chop down something you’ve kept alive for 74 days I'll return with a full report after a long vacation and these girls have some time to dry out

God damn Advanced Nutrients sorry it's not you.. It's them... Anyway I thought I'd look at your grow and see how you did.. You did good. I just hate advanced nutrients.. Expensive stuff and not very good at growing Cannabis. Forget the schedule from anywhere and try feeding only micro and bloom for your 3rd-6th week of flower. 5ml per gallon of the micro and like 15 ml per gallon of the bloom.

Also careful when feeding those Root zone boosters to seedlings.. Always make sure seedlings have Emerged and are out of the soil before feeding that stuff.. If you add it before it can cripple and kill a seedling....
