Purple Envy first time fun times

Carlo Started with lots of reading and went straight for first grow DWC. Baby 'herbert' (yes anthropomorphising the shit outta this gal) was sprouted in moistened tissue paper and transferred to rock wool and to DWC early. Simple starting.

Carlo First time grow wooooooo went for a dwc system cuz who doesnt love a bit of science. Couldn't find Purple Envy in the strain selection so went with GDP as it's one of the parent strains (Grape Ape, Purple Urkle & Grand Daddy Purps) them tasty tasty purple buds XD Also trying my hand at some aerobic yeast co2 supplementation.

Carlo She be bushing out now! Will need to start building the grow space soon. The aerobic yeast production is going swimmingly wooo produce that food for me plant bbys XD Day 5 Had to move the aerobic yeast CO2 production outside the grow room as producing waay too much heat. Day 6 Moved the light to 18" above :D

Carlo Came back from a weekend away and shes grown fat as fuck and looks rather wonderful for day 3! However... can anyone help me out with these two new things Small brown spots found on one leaf? No others affected, checked for bugs nothing. PH was 5.98 and PPM at 648, the room temp went up to 25C as wasn't around to open the rooms windows. She'd drank just over a litre of water so topped up with tap water in case its a mg ca deficiency (recently started half distilled half tap water as tap runs at 240ppm) and didnt add nutes incase its nute stress. Second the leaves look slightly yellowed up close, maybe it's because of this lag in me being able to top up the water? Startings of nute burn? Or the heat stress? Help a newbie grower out pleaaaaaase? Update! Day 4 shes bounced back with full tap water unlocking those nutes. Also started lst

Carlo She's just keeps getting fatter! Have trimmed her down on one side to start some serious LST training 😊 Going to build her new bigger airfiltered home because the smell is already unbelievable and she needs some room to get fatter. Watch this space for purple envy dankness 💚🌿💚 Day 4 update - took away 3 big leaves and lstd leaves around for max canopy. Think she's gunna have a few cola sites 😊 Day 5 update - she be drinking all those ppms so added 2.5ml of the grow bloom micro trio. She's got lots of strong dominant grow sites happy days! Thinking it may be worth longing out the veg and flower to get max dry weight.... hmmm would be a shame? ......

Carlo Day 1 - For a first timer this process is incredible some simple lst has changed 1 bud site to 9! Have decided to long out the grow to get maximum bud off this baby extra 3 weeks of veg and she'll be bloomin. Started building her newer much bigger home to cater for her rather fat stature 🙌😍 Day 6 and shes all settled into her new home 😍 Day 7 Its a day for learning... It all started with some simple lst and ended with Herbert in a splint and bandage. On the top 2 nodes, with all the lovely 11 blade fans and primo bud site production, tried to bend that little too far and snap! She's hanging half connected from the main stem with the top two nodes in me hands! Quick thinking prevailed so splintered her up to a metal rod with some masking tape covering the wound site to keep the moisture in. Added 5ml of Silicon to her reservoir for quicker stronger repair and will continue to do so. Fingers are crossed I've just done some involuntary super cropping and she'll have a nice fat knuckle pushing all the lovely nutes to me new and improved site production 👏😊 any tips and tricks people have used to speed up healing would be greatly appreciated 😇

Carlo Had a super busy week so big progress update! The break of the main stem has knocked off the lst training so she's a little unruly. Did a massive defoliation session, not too worried about stress as she's bossed the main stem break and had enough time to recover. Going to long this veg out another 3 weeks hopefully she dont get tooooo fat for the house XD

Carlo She's getting fatter going to enjoy longing out this girls grow to get max bud fun times. Going to top the 5 dominant bud sites and let the lagging 3 catch up (thanks question answerers) also gunna enjoy doing a heavy defolliage tomorrow only one week since it was last done and she's already fat again. Reckon the main stem snap boosted the thc in her leaves and stems because I got two sticks of strong as fuk cannabutter of the last trimmings! Purple envy, the strain that you can get high as fuck off during the grow 😂🙌🌱🙌

Carlo Sorry for the media blackout have been adventuring in America and didn't originally think about how long a grow can take, the caretakers of 'herbert' had enough to do with reservoir upkeep let alone update the diary... Anyhews we topped her before we left and now she has a super bushy canopy (thanks for the great advice peeps who answered the question), will be starting flowering tomorrow and scrog the shit outta her as she stretches. The canopy needs raining in a little but all else is perfect no problems and cant wait to get her flowering! Watch this space for this beast of a gal to blow up 😍

Carlo She's got really unruly we've got a lot of training to get that sweet canopy back, starting flowering and adding a scrog to spread her new growth out. Also adding another 300w led as she's gunna need that extra lumin . Scrog net is done! diy'ed the shit outta this grow, cut off the end of a metal grow support, leaving 4 4cm end bits, Cut dowel to size, drill holes in one end. They will slot onto the metal end bits, secure metal ring around the base with a hot glue gun, make netting with dowel (super light) and string, lots of support on the corners (hot glue gun worked best for this as well). Then assemble, slot the wooden legs onto the metal ring stubs then hot glue gun the netting on top. Means i can still do a full res change and gives the plant lots of support.

Carlo She's been big, bold and a little difficult as of late. Her size is creating alot of humidity for the flowering stage so ramped up the airflow and added a dehumidifier. Trying to balance out the temperature released by the dehumidifier as well and also had a minor nute block from adding cannazyme right as she was starting to flower... which upped the ppms and boom ppms be shooting up! Fixed it with lots of tlc and trying to lst this canopy into uniformity! Will be doing many more updates for the rest of this suuuuuper looooooong grow, watch. this. space!

Carlo Getting back on this grow diaries fun times she's so big weve had to cut the two original main stems as others have taken waaay over. Still getting edibles every time we trim this beast taken to making canna olive oil the more into flowering she's getting, the more potent the oil becomes
