Hello, First ever grow started and going well so far, been following GD for a while now to build up the courage to start my own. Week one has went amazing comparing it to some of the expeerienced growers on here was expecting alot slower start, Seed germinated in a wet paper towel for around 48 hours and the root was around 2 cm at this point, planted in a small pot with john innes number 2. Put the pot under 2× 30w iboutique cfl bulbs, Transplanted to my bigger 11l pot on the seventh day. Thank you for reading.

This update is me up to date at the present moment. Glad I have started the diary, amazing way to keep track and follow progress, every thing I have done is biased on the 2 top grows from the royal gorila automatic front page on GD Start of the week went amazingly well continuing to today, light watering every morning and a little at night if top soil is dry (I'm guessing 250w is low compared to others but still let's of more heat than I imagined) Been very curious about topping as looking at other diaries leaving her to do her own thing produces 1 main bud and several other smaller ones, had a look at loads of topped diaries and knew that it was for me. Day 12 morning what when she was going for the snip, was nice clean cut, expected a little slow down of growth but the opposite has happened and new life has came from all new sites, Today is day 14 an I decided to light lst the 2 lower sites and 2 upper fan leaves to allow them to catch up, apart from that it has been very low maintenance. Hope you enjoy the read Thanks.

Make sure that your soil isn't always wet. Let her dry 2 inches down. Not enough oxygen if the medium is always wet.

Good morning and happy friday✌️🏻 Start of the week was a bit of a panic with the lower fan leaves getting brown spots that were spreading, with the advice of a group member this problem was quickly solved, much respect for that. The problem was over watering and not letting the soil have a wet dry cycle. With stopping the regular watering the plant burst back into life as you can see in the photos, every day bringing more new life. Day 16 I removed any dead parts of the leaves and let her do her own thing for a couple of days, got my tent through the post and set it up I'm my loft as this is the only place out of sight and mind, I purchased the secret jardin dr60 with a rhino carbon filter, couldnt be happier with the set up. Day 18 I done some more lst and removed the larger fan leaves to allow more light and air in. Left her alone for the next two days and she has became a lovely circle shape with alot of bud sites, introduced more lst today and removed more leaves to allow light into all bud sites, this has allowed a nice even canopy for the following weeks. Couldnt be more happy how the grow is growing, I have still not introduced any nutrients but I'm starting to scratch my head as in when to start adding them, she is showing her first pistils all over👌🏻 Happy growing😁😁

Hi guys, another week done and dusted Start of the week the growth was fast, slowly easing off the last few days, I'm guessing this is the calm before the flowering stretch. Not alot of work involved this week with just the odd bit of lst to allow lower sites to catch up with the rest. First feed was two days ago with bio grow .25 ml into 500ml of water and same again this morning. Slightly worried about all the fan leaves on her, as they are turning pale green, some yellow, I'm putting this down to late feeding so will see how she responds to the light feed and up it from now on, the upper parts of the plant are still forming nicely. The last two ways the upper fan leaves have been stood up, been reading into this and i am getting mixed messages from what I am seeing some saying it's a good sign some saying it's a sign of stress. To me she looks in good shape and i couldn't be happier at the stage I am at, showing pistils all over now. Roll on the next week👌🏻 Happy growing🤗😎

Standing up leaves or rewching for light is mostly saying that the plant is healthy nd you are doing everything perfect. Untill they rise up so much that they seem to close up ; is a sign of extra heat and high amounts of light ; which is not the case here. So you are good to go.

Morning all Not the best weeks shes gradually getting more yellow day by day, there has been some growth but not alot. Still not got to the bottom of it, she has only been fed 3 times with 0.5ml of bio grow. Tried cal mag 3 days ago with no real difference in yellowing. Flushed yesterday and defoliated most of the bigger yellow fan leaves. Hopefully see some new growth or a slow down of yellowing in the next few days. Feel like giving up with her but will carry on and see how it turns out🤞🏻

Another quick week and panic over from last week😎 Another situation sorted with the help of fellow growers on GD Last week at the end of the week I decided to flush due to yellowing cause by nutrient block due to temps and the over feeding I done when I thought she was under fed. Few days after the flush there was new growth and from then, there has been new leaves and height😁 After the flush I decided to swap to a weaker fertiliser and used tomatto fertiliser I use on all the veg I grow out side, it seems to have worked a treat Got the grow buzz again and looking forward to the following weeks Thanks for reading✌️🏻

Another week closer🤞 Another good week flowering nicely, filling out. Iv not done alot to her this week but water her and add tommato fertiliser at 2ml per 1.5L seemed to be working nicely. Still getting some yellowing but not to worried now as the flowers seem to be filling out. Compared to other diaries I have seen she seems further than she should be for 7 weeks, if any one could shed light on how long I have got to go it would be much appreciated😎I'm thinking 2 weeks but could be totally wrong. My gut feeling with her is to feed for another week and start a flush and keep my fingers crossed from there. I know shes not the biggest plant (height wise) but for my first experience with anything like this I am well chuffed😁 Thanks for reading✌️🏻

Evening all Another week of learning quite alot of yellowing this week but all buds are swelling nicely and the smell is lovely, like getting hit in the face every time I open the tent Not sure whats causing the yellowing but my gut instinct is telling me it's under fed, through out the grow I have not added alot of nutrients at all so, few weeks back because of yellowing I fed 2 says in a row and this causes the claw but other than that it she has had really light feeds, gave her 2ml of bio biz in 1.5l of water 2 days ago and bud size has increased so over all happy with the progress, minus the yellowing Pistils starting to go orange through out the plant and a fair amount of cloudy trichomes👌🏻 going to flush in a couple of days depending if the yellowing worsens or a fair amount of pistils turn orange. This grow is all about learning as it is my first and I feel its giving me alot of challenges so I'm taking this as a positive even if she isn't 100% healthy. Thanks✌️🏻

Over all an amazing grow from day one, Had alot of problems through out the grow but with the help of fellow members of gd I managed to keep her going until the end, Harvest her on day 65 was delighted with the colours and smell of the buds, hang dried in the tent for 5 days, then put in a sealed jar with a humidity pack. I will definetly be growing this strain again but will have a browse through other diaries and see if another strain catches my eye😁 Thank you for all for all the help and support through out✌️🏻😎
