My plants are 70 days or 10 weeks old but due to I used low power led first they didn't grow too much in starting. Now I am using 80 W of LED. I wanna ask if you guys can look at them and tell if they are ready for flowing?

you can flip the large ones to the 12/12 schedule to induce flowering period with the edges, that is caused by nutrient overflow. Just give water for a week, after that start feeding at half power for some time just put that one in the dark after 12 hours keep the remaining smaller one in veg is my advice, wait another two weeks for the small one.

by topping you break the "apical dominance"; in other words split the growth between more colas/nodes this will reduce your "inter-nodal spacing", i.e how lanky it is -- which will be very useful, along with the bushing out effect

Suggest anything if you think anything is needed as its my first grow. I am just using tap water under a 5 W LED bulb .

The yellow spots are nutrients burn.

@weedbabaji, around 4 to 6 ml/gal

@JUNGLE_B4RNS, oh ! that i didn't knew that it was due to seaweed . I will reduce the amount . Can you tell me how much seaweed to use ?

JUNGLE_B4RNScommented7 years ago
@Jaindoh,it’s nutrients burns. 5ml/l of that Liquid Seaweed is way too much when you know that maximum dose is 8ml/gal in flowering .... In soil you just need to look what has changed 3 weeks ago...

@weedbabaji, That light will certainly help your grow situation. Just don't start out to close to the plant. Give plant time to adjust to the LED light. I would start at about 36" and then work your way closer. Move the light closer in small increments (6" at a time). Light should never be closer than around 18" with LED. Best wishes...

The slow growth is from lack of nutrients and only a 5W light. What is the soil?

@Jaindoh, Thanks for the information really appreciate it . I have ordered a new 100W LED its on its way . And also some npk nutrients . Hope they make it on time so that i can save my plants . One more question if everything is made right i mean light and nutrients then can this plant make it to flower ?
weedbabaji
weedbabajicommented7 years ago
@put_around,it's normal outdoor soil with mixture of organic soil 50-50 ratio. And i am using See weed extract for nutrients.

Jaindohcommented7 years ago
@put_around, you are correct you prolly want idk half a dozen to a dozen of each of the soft white (more red, for flower) and cool daylight (blue for veg) to put together and some pvc for a fixture give you 80x the return for a few bux. or if you can get like a t5/8 shoplight where you are at, even, a lot of times you can get smaller 4-light tube fixtures with reflectors cheap and youre gonna need nutes, at least acid-loving generic nutes but cannabis nutes are really really important eventually i would check the entries for both on GrowWeedEasy -- silly name but huge resource for beginners. they have a guide on doing a grow with just CFLs, as well as a primer on what you need in nutrients. Not only that they have a huuuge newbie guide with like everything in it... plus a million others. Nebula Haze, the author, taught me everything I needed off those pages.
