This is my first ever serious grow, seeds from Barneys LSD auto. Planted 4 on 14th May in presoaked pellets, put in prop tray and put in window sill through day for warm then darkness at night but after 7 days only one has appeared, we moved all to the tent and a very tiny plant has emerged! Nothing from the other 3 though which is worrying, not sure whether I’ve used correct soil as everyone says different I’ve used Some that I got with the tent ( a mix of some kind of soil/compost and those absorbent pebbles) 3 parts Miracle grow compost 3 parts Gro sure vermiculite 1 part Permalite 2 parts Watered with bottled water and 2 ml grow sure root stuff I have more photos but they’re on my Fone and can’t find it so will update pics tomorrow Fingers crossed

Had 6 seeds altogether from Barneys, 3 have germinated and ive repotted into large grow bags, I found a seed in some weed I bought so thought I’d see if it would grow and it has! I’ve put it in a terracotta pot so it’s different from the other 3. Not sure if I’m doing all I should be as the info I’ve read is so confusing, I don’t know what the humidity is or should be, using root it as per the bottle instructions as it came with the tent, watered twice with that, rest of time just plain bottled water. Fingers crossed they grow!! Wish me luck! I need it😬

Well they are finally growing! Don’t know if they are the right size but they seem so small and delicate, almost like a piece of cress, they aren’t very sturdy, not sure if I should be feeding them something? Have no idea as everyone using so many different things to feed so less is best until I know. Gave them half litre between them of plain bottle water and around a 300 ml of diluted feed (Root It 4 ml in 300 ml bottled water) between them? Don’t want to over feed or over water, also don’t understand the growing techniques? Sure that comes later! I think I’m over thinking it all but I’ve spent a fair bit setting everything up and don’t want to ruin it! 🙏🙏🙏

Hey welcome from the uk also. You will not want to add nutes for another 10-14 days yet, or it will hurt the young plant. You can get a generic bottle of tomato feed for flowering stage but will want something to help you through vegetave stage, before the days of the Internet I used to use babybio (little green bottle in most garden/hardware shops including wilko etc). That will do if on a tight budget. Or you can go online with plenty of choice. 👍🌱

Well they have grown a little! Still really thin stems, checking out same grows in diaries and everyone’s look far bigger and better than mine? Not started using nutrients yet have some on order which will be arriving today but don’t want to kill them, started germination on 14th may, some are bigger than other, gave them 1 litre of bottled water between them 2 days ago, basically just leaving the light on 24 hours a day to try get them to grow more😳

Will my plants thicken out anytime soon? Looking at others with the same seeds etc and mine seem so weedy (excuse the pun) compared to theirs, not added nutrients yet as the soil had and also had a bit of root stuff in first water, nothing since? any ideas anyone thank you xxx🙏

Are the values on your diary right? 600w led and 25cm away from the plants? They are really stretchy and in my experience if you have 24 hours of light they won't stretch too much past the first cotiledon/leaves. But they're looking all right so they will explode very soon, they're starting to show the first set of fan leaves, those will help capturing more light and from this week on you will see exponential grow. Keep taking good care of them! Looking forward to see your diary next weeks!

Well they are growing, changed the grow room round to better suit the different sizes the plants are (photos are in week 7) notice some reddish/purple colour on some of the leaf stem, not sure if it’s because the light was too close or too much nutrients? Anyway not given any nutrients for a week now, just plain water, watering every day now

Hey growmie... A Magnesium deficiency can cause reddish purple stems. A good cannabis-friendly nutrient system has a significant amount of magnesium, but if you're using very soft water, or RO water, you may need to add a Cal-Mag to your nutrient regimen. Temperature – Heat or especially cold can trigger red stems in some places also. Sometimes it can even be genetics. Hopefully this was helpful and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

My babies are starting to get big, got 5 plants all different sizes! The tallest being 16 inches the smallest 7 inches, noticed a rhubarb colour on some of the stems, stopped nutrients and given plain bottled water, also angles the lights to cover all the plants. I’m pleased with them s far! Moved the lights to about 6 inches away

well the ladies have certainly come on a lot now, the tallest plant is 26 inches, the 5 plants are all different sizes the smallest being 10 inches! it was a late starter! ive moved the lights accordingly, I haven't fed them anything as I wasn't sure if the reason the stems were reddish purple is too much nutrients?, basically watering them all with just plain water, some leaves have brown spots on and the stems on 2 plants are like rhubarb stalks, having problems uploading the rest of the photos

I repotted one plant of unknown origin, but I’ve removed it from the tent because it’s totally different to the others, I think this is the seed I found in a bag of weed I’d bought locally but she wasn’t growing well and all her stems and stalks were like rhubarb, anyway the others are all at different heights and stages I think, the tallest being 40 inches and very spread out stems the next is 26 inch, then 19 and 14 inch!! I’m not sure what stage they are and I have noticed they are wilting slightly, I topped up the soil as the roots were showing, I’m only giving them 1ml floral gro per 1 litre water, I really don’t want them to fail now I’ve got this far!! It’s difficult keeping the lights even as the plants are different sizes, if anyone can have a look at the photos and let me know what stage you think they’re at I’d be grateful

the girls have really come on, well 3 of them, albeit they're different heights, think I over did it with the nutrients as the ends of the leaves are brown and curling upwards, only the very tip, someone did mention it could be lack of potassium? not sure how id remedy that? Anyways for last 3 waterings ive just given them bottled water, nothing else, think the tallest one is ready after ive finished flushing (am I right in thinking I need to flush for around 14 days or 14 flushes?) I am really proud of my first grow and will defo be doing it again, had a lot of help and advice on here which is fantastic, good solid knowledge, thank you. please answer my question re cutting and drying, 😀🙏
