Hello Again,
I am very excited to be trying my first auto seeds ever. This strain is one of my all time favorites. My wife and I discovered this while we were away on our honeymoon and is by far one I am ready to have now (hints why I went auto... lol). This time around I went with just 2 ladies so I can better focus my light source as they don't have the foot print. I will be doing SCROG and LST with these as well as I want to be sure I yield the max I can in the short time I get. I won't be using any nutrients until week 2 is finished and starting week 3. I am using Fox Farm Ocean blend as my soil for the first time. These germinated and were put in the dirt on 1/15/18 and both were through the surface this morning 1/18/18. I will update photos as I can, I have started with just a peak of the set up.
So far everything seems to be looking on the up and up. I decided to switch these ladies to my full spectrum LEDs due to the fact that they are auto’s and now I won’t need to worry about switching them when they transition into flour. They are starting to develop a second note already and today is only day 10. Can’t wait to see how these ladies come along!
These ladies have really started to grow at a rapid rate. Started to mainline these gals so that continued trading will be made easy. I have increased my nutrients and plan to increase them more and more each week. I am currently watering about a half a gallon each one time a week. Hoping to see Elise done in 6 to 7 weeks!
These ladies haven’t started to show signs of preflower yet But they are growing at an exponential rate. I have tried to do some heavy LST every couple of days to make sure I have a nice even canopy when they do start the flower. At this time I can count about 6 to 8 tops on each plant. I am very excited to see what the next couple of weeks bring as this last week has really shown signs of exponential growth.
These girls have started to take off! They are showing strong signs of pre-flower and are starting to stretch! I have started to be a little more aggressive with the nutrients as these girls seem to like what would burn most plants! I did another round of Heavy LST and trimmed away a few of my fan leaves that were blocking my light. I will get some better pics up over this week!
This being my first time growing auto's, I didn't know what to expect. Out of the gates they grew rapidly, last week they seemed to slow a bit and started to flower. Plant #1 seems to be growing slightly faster than #2, but not by much. The SOG on each of these spans 18'' x 18''. I have trained these girls much more than I normally do, and am very happy I did so. I have looked around at other diary's that have ran these GSC and I am anxious to see what this week brings!
These 2 ladies have really impressed me over this last week. Last week they seemed to have stalled for the first few days, but I am back to seeing visible growth on a daily basis. They have both started to get very thirsty at this point, each consuming about a quarter gallon of water. I have gone pretty aggressive with my nutrients and they haven't seemed to have any issue with it. Can't wait to see what this week has in store as it is getting closer to the "projected grow time". Each one of these is about 24'' x 24''!
So far so good. I really have no complaints thus far. I have noticed a bit of swelling this week but still no true ''bud'' production. She is really coming in nicely and I just need to remember patients is key! They say 10 weeks on this for an average, but i feel like this is going to be more like 12.... then again, I have seen these ladies absolutely take off in the past few weeks for a few days at a time. There may still be hope!
Hello Friend! Although it is useful to change the cycle to 12/12 to force the flowering, it will not necessarily make the plant fatter, some people give 20 hours of light in order for the plant to feed well, however I believe that your plant is going deluxe! Have some patience and as you say you will have 8-9 weeks of flowering. As advice I would reduce the amount of fertilizers a little, I think you have many in your irrigation. Sometimes, less is more. Success in your growth bro :)
After taking all of the answer to my questions in to consideration, I did a flush and brought my pH back to a reasonable level. I also recalculated my nutrients and got back to about 1000 ppm. The buds did do a bit of swelling and are really filling out. I have about 30% amber tri's and I will start my flush in 2 or 3 days and flush for about 6 days in total. These ladies are starting to really come on strong in the aroma department as well. Even with my carbon filter, I can smell them as I approach and as soon as walk into my house!(these are in the garage). I feel confident that I can crop in about a week!
This is the final week for these ladies! I am at about 50% amber tri's and have started my flush. Lots of orange hairs on these ladies as well. Very ready to try these out! Should have some dried and cured (close enough that is) for 4/20!
These ladies blew my mind! Even through the stretch of about two weeks where I was giving them way too many nutrients they held in there and didn’t even show signs of burning. Overall I am beyond pleased with the production these ladies had given me! What I saw on the scale wet blew my mind although there was a lot of stamina I still feel as though I will have significant weight once dry. Can’t wait to get this ground up and have me my first sample!
