I'm not seeing the quick growth that i expected from this girl, but she certainly started flowering quickly. I staked the primary top down and have started training my three branches outward. The hail and cold weather in weeks one and two have stunted my primary vegetative growth, so I'm hoping that I can still maximize my yield out of this little girl with some creative training.
Little Purp is taking well to training, all available bud sites have been introduced to light and it looks like if nothing else, I'm going to have consistent bud sizing throughout. Feedings were limited to rainwater and a light top dressing of bone, fish, alfalfa, and kelp meals
Purchased a new Ph meter and decided to check my soil, it's been consistent across my whole garden at 6.8. Thinking of adding a small dose of aluminum sulphate to lower my ph a hair. I feel like a 6.3-6.5 would be my goal before harvest in July.
I've been toying with the idea of a foliar feed during flower. I normally don't do any foliar feeds after the second week of flower, just to help prevent contamination or buildup of non-medicines in my final product. Any suggestions as to what i should feed my lil purple budling?
Hey buddy it is entirely up to you what you want to feed :-) I would take everything from one manufacturer, look on their homepage how the plan is and feed a little less like on the plan :-) The purple on the plants looks really cool 😍
Decided to test her out and see how a transplant goes. Also, she seems like the only plant that the aphids want, however she hasn't shown any signs of terrible stress from them yet.
