Auto vs photo

So got everything set up today waiting for a fan and ducting to get temperatures under control. I germinated 2 auto flowering blue dreams. One never cracked and one is sprouted as you can see. I germinated 2 master kush seeds from nirvana waiting to see what happens with them they are both feminised photo period seeds. No nutes in the water as of yet just fresh ph balanced water. I’m running a 32 gallon DIY DWC system. This grow is taking place in a shed in a back yard in Oklahoma so a window unit will be needed I’m sure for the shed but I want to see what the temps will be with the fan when it comes. I’m not counting this as week one of veg but it is week one of the grow.

Week 1 veg! So first and for most I’m glad I started the extra master kush because the previous two did not make it. So the new guy made it into the tent today. Just a reminder the master kush is photoperiod feminized seed from nirvana. The blue dream as you can tell is has gotten nice and cozy the roots are currently out of the net pot and into water solution. So I’m expecting some major growth here this week. Did a full flush and them both sit in a ph’d water for a hour then added nutes. It is def starting to get hot now so I gotta get that window unit for the shed today not tomorrow. I honestly believe my fan just isn’t gonna cut it for the heat and is better safe then sorry. My set up allows me to close the tanks off via valve to give different nutrient mixes when the auto go into flower so That’s good any question you guys have lmk. Will be getting the scrong net set up with em the next couple weeks. But def need the a/c! Cheers!

This week it was hot outside which made it hot in the tent. I recorded temps at 111 got it to stay in the 90’s after lowering the power level on the light. I’ll have an ac unit the tent this weekend so cheers to that. Blue dream is getting 1tsp/gal the water level is 15 gal I added nutes at 13 gal strength. Sense the master kush is behind and no roots are out water level is at 16 gal. Feeding 1/4 tsp At 14 gal strength. I’d rather them be under than over w/ how hot it is the tent. I know they are probably sucking water like crazy and I don’t want them getting nutrient burn.

Ok so half through this week I installed portable ac unit. It def work when it’s on 🙄. I put it in then couldn’t check it for two days just to find out the breaker tripped on it.... fixed that issue. Then boom next day time for the res change. And it’s off again! Water filled up🤦‍♂️🏾. So this def was not a good week. Water temps where high as 90° F which messed up nutrient intake. So there is yellowing on the leaves. But I will not be defeated! Sense this is a new setup in a different environment. I’m having to adjust but I love a good challenge. I installed a WiFi camera that I can chime into to check in on air temps. I posted some night vision footage from it. And I’m working on a drainage mod for the ac unit😈. So after the modification for the ac unit we are only able to get the temps as low 90 degrees while during the day while the lights are on. And it’s falls to about 75-85 once the sun is down. It’s just what it is. The blue dream auto is taking it like a champ I’m highly impressed. The master kush has started rooting now that temps are under control somewhat and doing better as well. I have started doing lst on the blue dream and femmed it as well. I believe it should be getting ready to hit flower if it’s not already in the early stages for it. Both plants are now getting the same nutrient feed which is one tsp per gallon of each part of the nutrients. I know now I mite have to go led lights for summer then run my mh/hps in the winter.

Hi all, If you can tell by the first pic there was some updates in the tent. The reservoir water changes was to much of a hastle and the pvc pipe made it limited on space. So we switch it out for tubing which allows the reservoirs to be closer together. Also a DIY adjustable SCROG net was put in. The new set up allows for the ac unit to blow right over the canopy creating a cool barrier between the plants and light should def help with the heat. Now for the good stuff.... Blue dream auto- was femmed the middle of last week and now has three main branches. It is def in early flower you can now see the pistols and white hairs. We gave it a 1 tsp/gal of cal mag. An 2tsp/gal of the grow, bloom, and micro. Ppm @ 1275 Master kush- master kush should be on the 4th node this week will fem it as well sometime this week. Once we got temps under control she has started to take off mind you she is two weeks behind the auto. She got 1tsp/gal of cal mag. An 1tsp/gal of the grow, bloom and micro. Ppm @1000 I love how the auto is growing I will def run them more once they figure out how to make them grow bigger. I love how hardy and how the plant stuck through all the heat without seemingly be fazed. A lot can be said about the humboldt genetics. The master kush that did germinate is def settling in well as well even though it had to deal with the heat at a young age. Hi all, Grow area updates. So I put my 400w HPS in the tent about two days ago running on 250w on the dimmer. Temps definitely stabled out. Even with it getting up to 100 outside. It stayed at 86F for about 4 hours. Then the remaining hours where at 75 exactly! I re dipped the blue dream auto the same day so pics uploaded today will be two days of growth after being dipped under the net. This plant bushes like crazy. I counted about 20 possible heads with the new growth. But it’s sitting at a solid 13. Ppm1300 added a lil more cal mag this time. The master kush was femmed two days ago as well. And the main stem is about the same size as the blue dream without the training done to it yet. The leaves on it take up about the same square footage at the flowering auto! Ppm950 Both plants had a little yellowing from the heat but barely noticeable. Now that I have my air temps solid. I can start working on fine tuning my res temps. As of right now two frozen power aid bottles of water in each res is doing the trick. I didn’t hook the water chiller up do to both plants being on different feeding schedule it wouldn’t work unless I bought another. I’m not that rich lol. All in all it was a good week. Oh and the new drainage system cut my water change time from 30min to about 10! I love my wins and will take them where I can get them... Until next time! #StayKited 🤘🏾

Hi all, Grow area updates: Nothing major far as area is concerned added Some yoyo’s to the net so it can be raised and lowered easily now. I also noticed I had been following ghp feeding schedule for a recirculating system when mine is drain to waste. Didn’t have in adverse effects on the plants at all actually think they loved it tbh. But I’ll notice the ppm difference on these future updates. I was using way more nutrients then what was needed. Now I get to save money lol. Blue dream auto: Def has the faint smell of flowering cannabis now. The branching power from the mixing blue dream and already branchy plant with the ruderalis is def perfect for a scrog set up when you trying to maximize the your yield off one plant. I had to visit the tent 3 times this week to re tuck her down. Did the last tuck Thursday so what you are seeing from the pics today is three days of growth. Crazy!!!! She sitting at about 900 ppm And that’s with cutting the the grow solution some. Master kush photo: She popped through the net mid this week and hit her first tuck under today. With how well she reacted to the femm job. I went ahead and topped on the new growth on each branch. Her branch structure is way more sturdy then autos for sure. Leaves are bigger as well. One is the size of my palm lol I have big hands so that’s awesome. She sitting at about 800 ppm and getting less bloom solution. I’d also like to add I appreciate everyone’s advice far as set up and temp control. It was above 100°F the last couple days. And tent never got over 85 and as soon as the hotter part of the day was over we where back in the 70’s. Ima smoke one for y’all! 🤘🏾 Until next time #StayKited

Hi all, Grow area updates: So I hit the switch and flipped the light to 12/12 to start week 1 of flower for the master kush. And also raised the scrog net and defoliate a bunch. Blue dream auto: Week 4 flower God her first real good defoliation and and a lollipop on the under the canopy. As you can from the pics. The bud sites are plenty. Plant def got biggger then what I thought it had to be tucked one more good time under the net ended up taking up space where another plant woulda be. Literally had to leave a couple branches still standing do to nowhere for them to go and I’m almost definite they will need assistance standing here in a bit. She literally takes have the flower area by herself. I’m stoked about that. The last pic from the web cam shows about how much I took from each branch For defoliation. Ppm at 900 Master kush photo: 1st week of flower She got pretty y’all over the past week the extra nitrogen grow really helped her have a Maher growth spirt. It got a lil hot this week so some minor leaf curling but nothing major. The new growth coming in looks perfectly fine. She responded well to the femming. So I went ahead and topped all the tops on her and she might get one more at the end of this week. She also got re-tucked under the net. Ppm at about 750. As always #StayKited!

Hi all! Grow room- no updates on the grow area status as usual. Blue dream auto- the blue dream plant is definitely starting to settle in to the flower. And just going through the motions. I kinda like I left some branches y’all in the back. If it would have been even I don’t think they would be getting as good as lighting so that’s a plus. Ppm 850 Master kush. The master kush is didn’t really do as big of a stretch the first week of flower like I thought it would. Maybe this week... all those toppings I did definitely paid off she bushing like crazy definitely. Ppm 800 Until next time #StayKited

Forgot to update for this week nothing major sorry guys! Every status quo

This weeks update! Grow tent- so I had a buddy do my res change I talked him through the whole process couldn’t make it to the grow this week. Number and everything where perfect but!. He didn’t close the valve all the way to the blue dream res tank and left the drain pump on🤦‍♂️🏾. So when I got there this week leaves where curling and brown thought it might be a nutrient issue. Opened the res to check it. And there was only about a gallon of water in there out of the usual seven. No major harm I was planning on doing my last defoliation to her this week anyway. But that could have been bad. They are both receiving half strength nutes of the ripening mix GH recommends. Would have been a perfect week if not for that. No harm no foul tho. But def bout to start pushing them on the flower nutes and get back up to my 1000 ppm range buy adding extra bloom formula! #Staykited
