2nd LST after the first real stretch. It starts to grow ex-po-nentially! A Few cm every day. instead of LST-ing all the time, I hang the lamp a little bit higher every time. Terra GROW has been replaced by terra BLOOM. Just adding some hesi boost this week to really get the bloom-phase going (if this helps) PH has been regulated by PHMIN by plagron (contains Phosfor)

Grow Questions

For the readers, if there are any, I have a few questions: - Can I still get the PH of the soil to drop? Or has this ship sailed? Is it worrysome, since I always make sure the PH of my feeding-water is about 6,5? Will they take up enough nutrients if the water's PH is OK?

Hey there, runoff PH and soil PH are 2 completely different things. You need a soil tester to check the true soil PH value. Not sure why the runoff PH is that high as usually you have the opposite reading like mine (around 6.0 more acidic). But hey, thatā€™s not a terrible problem to have I wouldnā€™t say. She looks amazing. Try like a 6.2 when you water next time or if you are worried try to flush with straight water and really let it run off. You should always be loosing at least 20% out of the bottom of the pot when you are feeding nutrients. Overwatering means to frequently not too much at a time allowing for a good wet/dry cycle. Looks like you have done just fine šŸ‘. I would lose any sleep over it buddy! Happy growing and good luck at harvest!

The plant is showing a lot of yellow leaves. I think it's a little bit early to speak about a natural loss by flowering, or not? There are also a lot of yellowish leaves (more yellow than green even): what is the problem? the red leaves are normal to this strain I think? Thanks!

If temps didn't drop low at night or similar... it's possibly over fed. Too far away from harvest to call that senescence, in my humble opinion. some plants are more prone to it. you've got ~3 weeks, make that canopy last. bit too early for a nosedive. I have a nut calculator you can use to look up all your products used and the resulting ppms added up for you. Links in my profile comments So, consider recent behaviour.. if the "bloom" formula dropped N too far, you liklely need to boost that.. if you see issues elsewhre, you can make more informed decisions as to what to do in your context.

Hi! I have not yet grown weed in soil but I have read about it quite alot and I think the best method is to make your own soil with dry amendments, bacteria and mycorhizzae. It does not have to be organic but "NO TILL" is an organic soil growing technique where you just amend the soil before planting and water only with pH'ed water and some hydrocarbons (sugars/food) for the bacteria and fungies from start to finish. The idea with bacteria and dry amendments is this: Bacteria will break the solid stuff to usable form for plants and you only need good watering practice so right amounts of nutes are realeased and I've read and watched that once you get your soil right, it is really really easy growing. Mycorhizzae fungi will make symbiose with the plants root and the fungi will eat sugars either from the soil or the plant makes it for the fungi and in exchange the fungi will give Nitrogen and Phosphorus for the plant and the fungi will also expand the root zone and give better nutrient uptake and stabilize it too.

Congratulations my friend. You did a great job for your first grow. Looks fantastic. Add to that the reward of puffing some A+ herb with the pride of knowing you grew it ;) Priceless. Gotta give some love to those good geneticsšŸ‘ Well done RQS.

@oppilF, Well said my friend. Best of luck on that next grow. What happened with us is that one friend made everyone jealous and then everyone joined in and now everybody shares in the experience. Hopefully this happens for you. It makes it fun as hell and everyone is a winner ;)

@Treighfunky, thanks man, I also love the fact that I put in the effort, and got it back more than I ever couldve expected. Tomorrow I will be sharing it with some friends and make them jealous šŸ˜‚. Who knows they will get into growing themselves... Also, glad to know this platform. Everyone really helps each other out, in a friendly way. Thatā€™s whats ganja-spirit is about!

Hey How do you like that Migro light, I've been looking at them....

@Aussietrader, no problem; after testing the harvest I will give an honest review. About the light: that combo of your different lights seems decent, but a lot of work for almost the same amount of money I think? With a full-spectrum lamp you just need one if you buy a good one. I was considering the MARS Hydro TS-1000 at first, but for 50 extra the migro looked more professional & robust to me, with indeed great honest reviews and comparisons on the channel, so I kind of had more faith in it. Perfect for a 1-plant-grow. Anyway you choose what you think is right; to me and a lot of growers in here, it'll always be a little bit of trial and error. That's what I like about this forum. Cheers!

@oppilF, yeah they looked good quality. And I like Shaneā€™s reviews on other gear. Iā€™m making do with a set of 4 x 30w led flood lights (2x 3000k & 2x 6000k) and 4 x Kingbo 10w blurple E27 bulbs. I think when I step up to a decent light Iā€™ll give the migro a shot. Thanks

@Aussietrader, I did a lot of research since this is my first grow ever (with lamps/indoors), but yes I like it: it doesn't get warm if you have some ventilation running (good passive cooling), and it has a really bright COB-LED-light, great PAR-values and so on, European frame (Irish anyways). Most of the lights of that caliber are about 200euros; MIGRO is a little bit more expensive, but I just had a good feeling with it, seems very trustworthy. Anyway, does the job very well in a 60x60-space for 1 plant, is dimmable (very handy if you want to observe without the very bright light), and has a few built-in safety-things for preventing overheating and stuff. All these little things are worth the 30 euros extra. What I noticed directly is that my plant grows very compact! This means that atm the plant is about 45cm high, and has a lot of branches: totally different than outdoors: the plants got bigger and bigger and kept on growing until they were 150cm. Now, with the Migrolight, I think it's because of the high intensity of light that it causes a really compact growth. I hope it will also deliver dense buds, fingers crossed! :) Greets!
