So this is my first attempt. I thought I had all my bases covered, I have my Stealth-Box set up in the garage, and it's heated so the temps in my box do soar up to 30°C and I am worried I may have botched the whole thing on day one of my seedlings sprouting. My seedlings were covered in their tray, and I left them in the box with the lights off over night, thinking I had a day or two before they sprouted, so why not keep them in a dark warm place. I got up this morning and was blown away by the inch of growth, only to quickly realise that my two that had sprouted were tacoed up, bent over, and looking like they needed to cool right down. I moved them indoors to a cooler 18°C and under a different set of lights before taking the photos. I have four seedlings planted, two have popped up, the other two haven't. Can anybody inform me as to whether my two curled over babies might recover at this point? Or am I going to lose 2/4 of my girlies? I know it might be a little early to tell, but does no initial light and exposure to 28/29°C with a humidity below 30% make for a write off? What a morning. I think I'll just drink a beer and I'll let you all know what happens by next weekend. Thanks for tuning in and/or helping out.

My seedlings sprouted into a dark space with 29°C temps and a humidity of 25%. They were covered, and it was only for a few hours on day one. Has the exposure to excess temps killed them, or is there a chance they will fully recover?

nah, give it time. leaves haven't even turned green yet. that'll happen as it opens up. Seeds are packed with energy. 29C isn't so bad... just near upper end and may have minor issues, but would survive. the darkness is more liekly why it's a little flimsy. dont overwater and it'll perk up within 24-36 hours.

So things are crusing along, you can basically sit there and watch them grow in real time. I have three girlies, one late comer who caught up to my strongest girl on day 4. I have a little one that has slightly curled leaves, I think it was too damp when her little sugar leaves came out and they didn't develop nicely, making her shorter and her leaves a little ... Different? They're more pointy and a little twisted. I gave that one a little bit of mycorrhizae in the form of Pro-Mix organic with Mycroactive near the roots on transplant. The other two are in straight Gaia Green Organic Living Soil. Just an experiment, but a week after transfer I have noticed the twisty leaf has started growing its third set of leaves faster and larger than the other two. So that was cool. My only problem is that I had a power outage today for an hour and couldn't get my girls into the light. I hope that didn't mess with them too much. Please let me know if that sort of problem/mistake is or isn't going to effect them at this point. That's all folks, enjoy the photos and crack a cold one for me. One love 💚

Things have been good, I noticed the plants were looking a little droopy and the soil of the two plants I did not add Pro-mix to have started showing some sort of green algae or mold. I turned on the carbon filter and it keeps the humidity in the 40-45% range which is drying it out slowly. The temps outside of the grow unit have been pretty low, dropping my average temp inside from 28°C to around 23-25°C, and dipping to 20°C at night. Due to the dampness in the box and the resulting algae/mold formation I have held off on watering for two days from days 19-21. However, on day 20 I discovered some spotting appearing on the lower leaves of my two organic living soil plants, which are my taller more sativa leaning plants of the three. I may have messed up the pH of the living soil, I had some left over coffee dregs in my water can from watering my potato's earlier and it may have caused some problems leading to the spotting. My Pro-mix plant is my shortest one and she's definitely showing wider leaves with more variety of greens and tints of blue. I have been using filtered water that tests chlorine free, but I am led to believe I may have a calcium deficiency. I'll have to name my plants, so far only the shortest has been named. I will follow this post up with a question about the spotting. Thanks for tuning in, one love, positive vibes 💚
