Got this cool little Aero Garden for Christmas. Its a self contained hydroponics garden ment for herbs. I'm trying Cannabis seeds in it and seems to be working so far. It has full growth LED at 45watts.
The transplant went very well and the plants are loving the red solo cups. I'm applying lots of rooting fungus and bacterias. they will go into my small grow tent next week possibly because they already are getting too wide for the Aerogarden lamp.
Day 15: Plants look very healthy. Still under 45watt grow lights from AeroGarden. One bottom leaf looks sick but I dont think it will be a huge issue. These genetics are hard to kill.
Plants seem to be shooting off strongly and if they are anything like the Red Poison they will start to grow very very fast in the next week.
No room in my grow tent yet so they will have to stay put for a while.
Day20 Repotted. Roots looked great. Some leaf issue with Black Cream. It got cold for a few days so I expect that was the cause. In the tent now.
Day 21:Had a fast, huge stretch with the Black Cream from day 16-20.
Day 21:Bloody Skunk is fattening up with foliage and staying more squat for now.
A few leaves have what looks like Calcium Def.. Same happened with my last grow of Red Poison. There must be an issue with what I am doing and or using.
Been feeding/watering much more lightly than last grow. I don't want to have to flush my medium out.
No colour changes yet, pre flowering has started.
Day 22 Low Stress Training on Black Cream due to the fast stretch. I want to keep both plants at a relative height to be effective with the one lamp.
Went away for a week. Came home to wilted plants and 33C temperature :(
Plants survived barely, with some yellowing.
Black Cream is budding well and Bloody Skunk is showing preflower.
Black Cream is budding very well yet the Bloody Skunk still hasn't flowered. I am almost tempted to take clones from the BSkunk.
Black Cream has not shown any colour change to Reds/Purples as of yet. I dont think it will.
I am adding Terpinator and Sensizym now. The BCream smells much more Lemony than Red Poison did. It is also very oily to touch.
Moving along well.
I am thinking of "upgrading" my lighting to COB LED. Currently reading technical information and will likely build my own. If anyone reading this has input, please share.
Black Cream auto is pretty much done, flushing today and only feeding Bud Candy till done.
Bloody Skunk finaly is showing flower. I had to force it at 12/12 because it just kept vegging and I want to move onward to other seeds. It looks very healthy though and should make some nice buds.
Still havent noticed much colour change to red in BCream plant. Nothing with Bloody Skunk. I figured the nightime lower temp would help...we'll see.
I have 5 Vero29SE Cobs coming so the lighting will be changed up to get full potential from any genetics. Also, I really dislike looking at the plants with the red/blue LEDs, so it will be a nice change to white light.
Day4 of Black Cream flush. Still no significant buds on Bloody Skunk which I did a heavy defoliation on..... More can be cropped off yet but the top is fairly even with one site per branch
I would have had a much better harvest. Left this plant for a week unattended at beginning of flower. It was pretty much on deaths door, dried up being baked at 30c.... It survived though and I ended up with 25g of dried pungent buds. The smell is very pleasant, on the gummy/candy scent. Another Sweet Seeds grow finished from the Red Family, which never turned red. I must be getting all the non-red phenos unfortunatly.
After 6 weeks of slow curing in jars and boveda packs this pot is very enjoyable. It is a smooth smoke, easy on your lungs. I'll take a guess at around 15% THC. It is not as potent at my Red Poison harvest from Sweet Seeds. The buds have a very nice scent of creamyness and fruity. There is no lemon or gasoline terps.
Bloody Skunk has taken over my tent. I had to light 12/12 force this autoflower. It is growing flowers very slowly. Seems like it will never finish. It has been flushed and fed very weakly for over 10 days. If I didnt live where its still winter I'd put it outside.
Was given some Pink Kush seedlings. They aren't very healthy. I transplanted them into large pots with promixHP and perlite. Sprayed the rootzones with Piranha, Tarantula and Voodoo juice. They were rootbound and stripped most unhealthy leaves off. They wont get much light intensity unfortunately.
Got my COB lamp from RapidLED but it was missing parts, so waiting on those also.
Still waiting on COB parts..... Defoliated Bloody Skunk again. Trying to leave only one main top
per branch so I have no popcorn sites stealing cola energy.. I may still crop off that bottom branch but want to wait until new lamp is in..Im sure the new lighting will make enough power to fatten lower buds.
Got my Rapidled.com COB kit lights installed! I'm stoked with how bright this set is at 375watts and dimmable. I ordered 5 Bridgelux Vero29D COBs and a Mean Well driver. Three are 3000k 80cri and Two are 3000K 90cri. It is super bright, full spectrum and should be around 1000ppfd at 18inches. I also appreciate looking at the plants with normal white light, unlike the LEDs I had with Mars Hydro. The COBs can be slid on the rails to move them to a spot of your choice. It was fairly easy to assemble. I soldered and shrink tubed my dimmer and upgraded the power cord to 14g long cord, which I also soldered, shrink tubed and taped. I didnt want to use the Wago connecters and feel this is more safe and appropriate. I did use the Wago connectors for the lines to the cobs just so there is quick-disconnect without having to chop wires if I ever have to move it out.
The 375Watt Vero COB lamp is kicking ass in this little tent. I cant open it with full power and not have sunglasses on! The Bloody Skunk has started flowering like crazy and is drinking a gallon of water every 2 days now. I wish I never wasted my money on the initial Mars Hydro LED. Because I have my carbon canister inside the tent I have no room to hang both. I am thinking of installing it on the outside of the tent and adding the Mars lamp in a week or so for extra bloom lights. It will be very interesting to see in another 2 weeks.
Day6: Added in the Mars Hydro ProII Epistar120 bloom light. All the girls seem very happy.
Bloody Skunk is drinking a gallon every 48hours. All leaves look healthy, everything is growing well so let it be and we will see :)
Bloody Skunk has really started stacking the last week. She is very thirsty, drinking over a gallon every 2 days. The 375W COBs and 250W MARS Epistar LEDs have her budding at a feverish rate now. This is when I get excited about my grows...starting to see what you'll end up with.
I kicked up the Bud Candy and started adding RAW bloom microbes to my medium.
There is some slight yellowing at the very bottom fan leaves, nothing critical. The main stalk and branches are very strong and stiff, this plant could withstand a hurricane :)
There will be around 15 colas on her. Should be an outstanding harvest if this keeps up.
Watered yesterday with a bigger blast of nutrients and additives...trying to push the limits on her. Bud sites are filling in nicely but no frost is really there as of yet...uploaded video.
Drinking 1gallon (4L) of fluids every day now. All the budding sites are filling in very nicely, but slowly. There is little to none trichomes right now, has to be the genetics. No frost on bud leaves.
I just want this plant to be finished already, she has been a creeper its entire life. Pink Kush in the tent has taken up any extra space and is budding also now.
Day2 Had to do another defoliation. There was just way too much leaf growing tightly inside. No airflow in the tent through that mass.
From previous experience, the next week should really fatten these buds. My last two feedings were PH water because I saw some slight tip burn. There is some trics starting to build up now but at this point I know she will not be crippler. When it is time, I plan to really fade her out and off nutrients. There is still new growth at the tops of each cola and I think these will be the biggest ones I have grown so far. She looks healthy and happy so far but is slowwwwwww.
Slow, slow,slow...... The buds are filling in, gave it a blast of Advanced Nutrients Overdrive today. There is almost no frost and I dont think it will ever show up. If I had a sunny window, I'd just take it out of the tent and let her be. Seems like I've been tending to this girl forever.
There will be a fairly large yield when it is done
Been feeding PH6.2 water with bud candy (sugars) for a few days and will continue until harvest. The buds packed in pretty well, as you can see one of them is around 14" tall and fat. Pictures dont do this plant justice in bud size because it is very leafy. The smell is mild, frosting is mild and I have another week to go at least..... todays feeding will get Final Finish additive to help wash nutrients out and hopefully get a fade happening.

No more bulking up now although tops still look fresh white... I flushed this 3L pot out with 30L of water to get the run-off fluids to under 200PPM. (tap water is 170ppm). Shes been fed with only Flawless Finish now and some yellowing is beginning to happen at the very bottoms. Not a lot of crystals and still smells very much like ammonia, not skunkish. Its been a long journey with this girl and not over yet. The next weekly update SHOULD be harvest time, but I really want to fade out the nutrients so the smoke is smooth.
Pistals are browning, trics are mostly cloudy with very little amber yet (60x microscope). Leaves are still green, but fading to lighter colour now. A tiny bit more frosting is happening
BLOODY Skunk! She still smells of cat piss urine and hasnt been fed anything but Flawless Finish for over a week. I suppose the amount of greenery leaf she had is keeping her fed all this time. The buds are pretty large but considering I used the entire lineup of Advanced Nutrients PH perfect and added in Terpinator, had her under 375watts of intense Vero29 COB lights and 250W of Mars Hydro epistar LEDs... I just do not understand why more frosting didnt happen.
Next week will be the kill update and we will see how much WET weight she has.

This pheno was not a typical Bloody Skunk. It did not autoflower, did not turn reddish. It was very healthy though and needed defoliation may times. I ended up with a massive harvest of 23 branches with colas on each. The trimming took forever and weighed in at 795grams with the largest cola being 90grams wet.... There is not a lot of frosting but the bud I took off last week and hang dried smoked very clean, white ash with no popping or chem flavours and gave my wife and I a very nice yet mellow buzz which was long lasting. Taste and scent are yet to be revealed until cure has happened.
Each trimmed branch weighed out wet at in grams:
90, 74, 71, 37, 34, 34, 52, 23, 26, 63, 20, 23, 35, 17, 43, 08, 43, 35, 25, 27, 30, 16, 12 = 795grams
She looks good!!! Came out with some tasty bud at least. I defoliated as much as i could from the bloody skunk and put her ass outside. At this point i'm stilling feeding her and such but shes on her own to make it or not. Maybe as she cures you may have some color show up. I did with the dark devil. One cured darker and one did not change at all.
@Hellhazard, I live on the surface of the sun practically lol. It's the only time I can have plants outside. By may it's all over. She has just grown and grown and grown.
@Hellhazard, That was the problem i was running into she has so many bud sites and is so bushy and tall she is covering all the smaller plants that i have coming up. Ill let you know if i see any change on my end. So far she has seemed to even stretch more so not much change but at least shes out of my tent.

@Sweet_Seeds Do you recommend a heavy defoliation now? She drinks a lot of water but the bud sites are not filling in nearly as fast as Red Poison or Black Cream did.
Looking good! My bloody skunk is just one huge bush at the moment. I keep thinking she will flower now any day. She was started with my others and they are already fully flowering and crystallizing. Cant wait to see how yours turn out!
@Hellhazard, If its the sweet seed line the purple color i have read comes much later in the last phase of bulking and curing they turn purple i guess. I have 2 Dark devils growing and the little main lined one is just now starting to turn purple and the taller one is now slightly changing in color. The bloody skunk is still a huge green mess so idk what color she will be. I never bank on the color just because its so warm where i am and usually purple is from the cold. But fingers crossed she starts to show color for you. You would think at least one would.
@wheedtobeus420, I bought all these red family seeds because I wanted Red/Purple buds...These are plants 3 and 4. So far no Red at all. Site says red genes should show in 90% of plants. I'm kind of skeptical now...or I'm doing something wrong.
@Hellhazard, same here! I moved her to the middle of the tent to maximise light and she is showing pistals all over the place but i also feel like shes growing bigger since then. No red or purple sites at all. I just keep hoping she will stop growing any day now and flower. I mean shes healthy and green and beauitful but shes pushing her harvest date further and further.
@Heresay, That is the largest cola but a few are not much smaller... Its actually the very bottom branch which shot up the side during veg and I didn't cut it off during defoliation because it was so healthy. You can see it in earlier week pictures... and Yeah its a 1L bottle lol
@DabCrab, Thanks. I'm sure genetics has mostly to do with it but this AeroGarden certainly made roots way faster than just rockwool in a dome... Hope they grow out well.
Yours is way bigger then mine tall wise! I have a huge bush growing in my shower. I cant believe how nice she looks. Mine is wayyy behind your girl! Keep it up haha
@Hellhazard, She got burnt to shit in that one spot when we left her in the tent and the plant and animal sitter just left everyone alone for 5 days. it was fucked up. i have to rotate her every day so she gets the same amount of light. I couldnt keep her in the tent she needs a 12.12 schedule and it would have pushed my autos behind. So out she had to come.
@wheedtobeus420, I just watched your update video.. The two plants are definitely from the same stock. They look and grew the same. The growth on yours would be the exact same if you didnt take it out of the tent a few weeks back... Interesting how one piece of your BSkunk is yellowing so hard though.
@Witty420, Honestly can not answer that question. The plant did not show any signs of being a Bloody Skunk. No red, no autoflower..... Made a hell of a lot of buds in the end though.
Both looking healthy. Good job so far.

My Black cream is still the size of an Clipper and shows first pre-flower at day 15.
Black Cream is done (25g dried in jar) and Bloody Skunk is finally starting to show a bit of budding.
Bloody Skunk was flushed slowly with 16liters of 5.8ph clear water. Inital run-off from 4L was 3500ppm!!!! (no wonder it wasnt growing). Strangely enough, it was not showing any signs of issues besides not budding. Final run-off fluids were 500ppm at 6.5ph.
At that point I fed with Bud Candy and my rootzone tribe with a small dose of Terpinator at 5.8ph.... It looks very healthy after 48hours now and has almost dried its pot already which is a good sign.
Smell/scent has started to kick in.... ammonia/cat piss when you are working near it. Shes still on a sugar diet and starting to yellow now. Added a video
I started 12/12 yesterday even though they are autoflower because the Bloody Skunk plant is just becoming a huge bush overtaking the grow space. Im not really concerned with the Black Cream Auto, she is doing well. Will be doing a lower soil PH test soon also because Im pretty sure its time for a rinse.
