First time growing this strain from this breeder.
I'm starting her indoors to give her a good and healthy start but I will be moving her outside in a couple of weeks.
I'm growing her in lightmix soil with around 30% perlite, will be giving her mineral nutes as soon as she's a bit older.
I have grown Amnesia Autoflowers before but not from Seedstockers so I'm curious as to what this strain will bring to the table.
Advice is always welcome. Enjoy my grow!
Week 2 of vegetation.
She's growing pretty well and developing some 3-finger leaves.
Still giving her plain ph'd water but I will be giving her nutrients in 1/2 weeks.
Haven't updated this grow in a while, but it's going pretty well.
Have been having pretty bad weather the last weeks so she has been standing a lot behind a window, luckily the weather is getting better.
Also gotten my first 9-finger leaf i've ever had on an autoflower.
I have been starting to give her a little bit of nutrients but i'll be keeping an eye out to see if she needs more.
I'm also doing a bit of LST for the side branches to spread more to the side.
She's started to show white hairs so not long until she's going to go into full flowering mode...
She's has very small insect markings on the leaves but besides that she's groing really nicely and has no nute problems what so ever.
I'm hoping this trend continues and eventually yields some fat buds.
Now in week 8 and producing more and more white hairs.
She's also still very slightly growing vertically hence i'm still giving grow nutrients as well.
I really like the way she grows, can't wait for the results
Buds getting bigger by the day, starting to smell real nice as well. She has a lot of white hairs so I estimate it's going to take her 3-5 weeks to be ready to be taken down. I'll be upping the nutrients a little bit as some leaves are starting to yellow which I think is a little too early. I also have started giving molasses.
I have moved her inside due to bad weather. She's really starting to yellow and getting purple leaves/tips so I think I'll be upping the nutrients a little bit as I think she still has a few weeks to go.
She's getting pretty old for an autoflower but she's still going pretty strong. As you can see she's yellowing up quite a bit but I think she has at least 1-2 weeks to go. I think I'll be flushing this or next week depending on her trichome ratio.
Really easy strain to grow, she didn't need much attention and grew fine on her own. As she grew fast and her leaves didn't yellow or anything, I also gave her little nutrients. This really seemed to have payed off in the end. I guess it's true when people say less is more. Letting here ripe a bit longer than stated by the breeder also seemed to have positive effects on the end result.
Seeing the colors changing to amber, I thought that's when It's time to flush? I'm a newbie so I'm curious as to what makes you feel like it still has longer? Looks beautiful! I'm at the 4 week mark with my Amy. This whole website is just awesome for learning. Thanks for sharing!
@ZoomZoom77, I'm shooting for this trichome range because this is a sativa and I like the effect the most with this ratio. With indica I usually shoot for more cloudy trichomes instead of amber, because I don't like that couch lock type effect if you go with more amber.
@Budcultivator, Ok, I understand. So then are you going for more of an indica smoke leaving them longer or are you shooting for that range regardless of sativa/indica effect?
@ZoomZoom77 Yeah this website is indeed awesome for learning! The reason I don't flush yet is because I watch for 2 things: One is the the hairs, and one are the trichomes. Personally I want the hairs to be at least 90% amber, and the trichomes to be 70-80% cloudy but that's just personal preference. Only at this point, when it looks like it's almost done, is when I start flushing. You might not see it correctly in the pictures but my plant still has a lot of new white hairs and a lot of trichomes are still clear. I do this because in my previous grows I made the mistake of flushing too early (a frequently made mistake by new growers) resulting in the buds not fattening up correctly due to lack of nutrients. If you have any more questions let me know. cheers!
