This is first grow, I've been wanting to start for awhile and what better time then now!
This plant was started under a cheap grow light that caused it to strech much more then it shouldve but the stem seems to be thiccening up well enough to support the plant. For future grows, I will start the seedlings undery vipraspectra from the start.
I began LST about a week ago but I think I started too early for it to take much effect. The secondary nodes have really begun to grow midway thru this week so I've been attempting to expose them to the light more
The first set of leaves began curling at the start of week 2 but they're beginning to open up
I've been using this grow to experiment with what works for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Lst has been tough to do with this plant because everythings so close together, I've been trying to tuck larger leaves under the smaller growth and that seems to be working. There were a couple signs of over watering earlier on in the week so I've been watering less. I'll be letting the soil dry out more between waterings
Flowering began early this week!
I've added more light to hopefully help with light penetration. The lower nodes seem to be growing better now too.
I've been considering defoliation but I'm hesitant because this is an auto. Any tips for that?
This plants fully in flower now!
The buds are really starting to develop so I've been switching the feed to a bloom mix. I've been watering my plants less as I was over watering. I've noticed small amounts of trichomes developing near the base of the sugar leaves!
This plants hasn't gained much hight this week but it's buds are getting thicc
There's more trichomes forming around the buds, especially around the colas. I've started removing lowers leaves that were starting to brown. They weren't getting enough light to grow properly. I've only been only removing one or two per couple of days to make sure I don't stress the plant out to much.
Pretty good week,
Not much has changed with this plant. It hasn't really gained any height but the buds are continuing to grow fatter and fatter. So close to harvest!
This plant hasn't gained anymore height this week. The Pistils are beginning to change to orange leading me to believe that harvest is near! The buds have been stacking on the main stem closely and the buds are looking phat
Not much has changed with this plant. Harvest is gonna be taking place really soon!
I've began removing fan leaves to allow more light to reach the lower buds. This plant hasn't been gaining much mass anymore so this seemed appropriate. I've been adding lots of stress to this plant hoping to increase the trichome production and it seems to have been working. One method that I stumbled across that intrigued me was stem splitting. I took a drill to the base of the stem of this plant and it seemed to get more frosty.
Slight foxtailing has began to occurs which isnt much of an issue for me but it was interesting to see as this is my first grow!
Can't wait to report the final yeilds!!!
Really glad that this was my first strain to grow. Super easy and it was ready pretty quick too. Curing isn't fully done yet but I'll update this grow when it is with the full tastes!
